But we should be worrying about them because they are unfair. Were tax rules to be applied equitably then he would be liable for much more. Why should she be able to enjoy all the benefits of living in the UK (admittedly, I chuckled as I typed that) but be able to avoid paying an equal rate of tax that the most of us pay?

One centuries old law? I have no doubt that there will be many laws in place that are designed solely for the benefit of the privileged elite who wrote them or sponsored those who wrote them. In the UK we have a prime minister who's billionaire wife, despite living here, was allowed to pretend she didn't so she didn't have to pay her fair share of tax. We have a king who doesn't have to pay the same inheritance tax as the majority because... well, because other rich people decided he didn't need to pay his fair share. Governments the world over are corrupt and work to shore up their own positions. Nothing will ever change.

The polarising, aggressive language used by politicians and journalist of all hues is only contributing to the demise of civilised debate and rational discourse all over the world. I suspect that this has always been the plan.

I must confess that I know little of her family, but if they are any bit as dysfunctional as the tacky soap opera clowns on Harry's side, I am happy to keep it that way. Unless she was involved in his firing, I am not sure there is a connection other than tangential. Didn't he get fired from a previous job for his own lying? Personally, I think hacking a dead kid's phone and giving her parents false hope that she was still alive is much worse, but I am happy to see him suffer misfortune regardless of its provenance.

The level of hatred that this couple attracts is truly baffling to me. I can understand why Piers Morgan hates them - Meghan rejected his advances many years ago and the sensitive little snowflake still feels slighted. But why do so many others feel equally as outraged by their existence? I can only assume that it's a similar sort of insecurity, but they see them as a threat to the ridiculously outdated institution that spawned Harry, and heaven forbid that this clownshow monarchy should ever end! I strongly suspect that the Venn diagram of Brexiteers and Harry haters shows significant overlap.
