  1. Attempted stabbing followed by fleeing the scene of an accident, and the consequences are barely a slap on the wrist? If this is realistic, then it's no wonder people are upset.
  2. You can tell their nationality from a blurred out photograph? Remarkable...
  3. A week is a long time in the life of a perma angry right winger. Last week they had to follow the line that Europe was in danger of becoming a totalitarian anathema to freedom of speech. This week they have to get enraged about someone using freedom of speech to say something rude about their sky fairy. Consistency of message is not the goal, of course; it's all about consistency of outrage, as directed by their oligarch men-of-the-people thought leaders.
  4. I have no idea. Speak to a therapist and show them your post to which I replied.
  5. Are you sure that you are on the right thread? West hater? Because I don't subscribe to your world view, I must hate my country? Get over yourself.
  6. Snowflakes crying because someone they routinely pile hatred upon laughs about the sky fairy they pretend to love.
  7. I can't say whether this is true, but according to the Mail, "It is not illegal to have sex in a public space. It becomes a criminal offence if it causes ‘alarm or distress’ to others." https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2455539/Surrey-enclave-al-fresco-sex-capital-Britain-nearly-100-dogging-sites.html
  8. To be honest, that reads like you are the one with the unresolved issues.
  9. Looks like this could be a slippery slope - they are coming for the gays now; next will be the doggers (if that is the correct term)... The leafy Surrey enclave that's the al fresco sex capital of Britain with nearly 100 major dogging sites https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2455539/Surrey-enclave-al-fresco-sex-capital-Britain-nearly-100-dogging-sites.html
  10. That feeble old man prancing around in badly made, too big for him fatigues is surely the most pathetic thing must of us will see today. The rest of the world needs to put an immediate stop to the Putin regime, with emphasis on ensuring that he and his cronies can never rise from the ashes of their own making ever again.
  11. Even just neighbourly feuds - Guy A doesn't like Guy B for some irrelevant reason so makes an anonymous, false, complaint about B to the police, alleging drugs, guns, all sorts. The police go in mob handed and kill Guy B - Guy A has a result.
  12. But the hammer he used to crack the nut was so large and so crude that many innocent people suffered. He was aware of that yet continued despite the toll his policy was taking on innocent lives.
  13. So you have no opinion on what justice would look like to you?
  14. Your mealy mouthed refusal to accept that Russia is the culprit in this speaks volumes. It could have been avoided 3 years ago if Putin respected the sovereign right of another country to follow its own path. That is utterly pathetic and surely shameful to anyone with an ounce of morality.
  15. How would a fair and just peace look like to you? What has been floated so far is that there is a ceasefire and further Ukrainian land ceded to Russia; Ukraine withdraws from the Russian territory it currently holds; Zelenski steps aside (and goes into exile?) and new elections called. I have seen no more than that so I would assume that, as none of the power mongers are discussing Russian reparations or Putin or any of his regime facing repercussions, he and they will continue as they are. Will you call that a just outcome?
  16. Putin instigated this was - he, Lavrov, the drunken lout that is Medvedev, and all their various corrupt cronies must all face the ICC. As for the scum who are committing atrocities on the ground, the next Ukrainian government needs to formally adopt the measure instigated by Israel as it hunted down the Nazis after WW2. These people will hopefully not have a moment's peace of mind until they are permanently removed from society.
  17. A totally specious lie at best - as is evident to anyone who actually spent time in Russia, Putin couldn't care less about Russians within his own territory; it is utterly ridiculous to suggest he would care about them abroad.
  18. So a question of stopping Russia from killing more women and children. Do you agree with me that Russia should be made to pay for the outrages it has committed to date, and that Putin should face the ultimate sanction
  19. ChatGPT is helping more than a few correspondents here, it would seem!
  20. I think we need to wait to see the terms. Appeasement of the Russian aggressor will be intolerable to most - and, sadly, the only person who has the power to make Russia pay is the one who seems to be on Russia's books. Zelensky will be kicked out and Putin and Trump will parade around like two little Napoleans as if they have jointly overcome something terrible. Let's hope that the decent countries of the world will continue to punish Russia relentlessly until Putin is in chains in the Hague.
  21. I was in my late 20s when my company offered me a post in Eastern Russia - I spent 8 years there which were among the happiest days of my life. The people are great, the country so beautiful - but the politics at all levels is the worst, and for various reasons, the people accept it. Hell, some even admire it. It is particularly amusing when these loud mouths on TV say that Ukraine deserves what it is undergoing, partly because it was riddled with corruption - if that is the case, their aggressor is many, many times worse.
  22. In an ideal world it would be one topic too many; sadly, however, we are not sufficiently insulated from the deranged antics of the corrupt buffoon.
  23. So still not a traditionally member led political party then?
  24. NATO is a defensive pact; there was no threat to Russia, nor any move to intervene in its politics.
  25. In what way was Russia threatened, either in 2014 or 2022?
