  1. I have always thought of transgenderism, crossdressing etc to be a bit like riding a motorbike. I haven't the faintest idea why you would want to do it, but I respect your right to do it. That said, the hardcore supporters of trans rights spoiled things for themselves with their demands to go so far, so quickly. Former men should not be allowed to compete in women's sporting events. That's obvious to most people. And while the majority of trans women may have totally innocent intentions in wanting to use female toilets, changing rooms etc, a (presumably) minority of creeps has made that a toxic notion. If they had played the long game and allowed society to come to terms with such radical change then maybe they would have a greater amount of public sympathy but I think that the trans rights warriors brought this on themselves.
  2. Headline asserts that she misled the public; article makes clear that she has been accused of misleading the public, clearly not the same thing. Daily Hiel, heal thyself.
  3. I am starting to think that maybe we don't need to wait for humans to die out - just hand over control to the octopuses now. They surely can't do a worse job. Scientist predicts octopuses would takeover the world if humans died out
  4. Just because you can eat them doesn't mean that you should.
  5. Look at the country we are stuck next to and have been forced to subsidise for the past 300 odd years - it's enough to turn anyone to drink.
  6. On any scale of natural justice, I think most rational people would agree that Putin's immediate demise would be a positive thing for Ukraine, Russia and the world. The question is though, who would replace him, and would be be better or worse? Kadyrov?
  7. No it doesn't. The problem is wholly Waitrose's staff incompetence. If shoppers think that the failure of Waitrose to manage there POS system correctly reflects on regulations they it's the common sense of the shopper that needs to be questioned.
  8. I was more interested in your claim that thousands have been jailed. That's only one person. Where are the many others that you referred to?
  9. I think she got off lightly - a more severe sentence would have been appropriate for two reasons. 1) politicians, no matter how reprehensible they may be, should (like the rest of us) be allowed to go about their business without fear of assault or attack. 2) Farage is widely recognised as being an odious and loathesome purveyor of packaged hatred for a pliant minority. Anything that gives him the opportunity to sell himself as a victim should be avoided.
  10. Is that true? Do you have a link to prove that thousands of Brits have been jailed for social media posts?
  11. The article is written using her words. They are clear for all to see. As you have repeatedly been asked but failed to identify where in the statement she expressed sympathy towards the alleged murderer, your failure is sufficient evidence. But if you want to continue to push this false narrative and continue to demonstrate that you are either unable to think for yourself, or that you are willing to push a false News Corp narrative, then fill your boots. It doesn't make you less wrong the more you repeat it.
  12. In this case it's fiction. She didn't sympathise with him.
  13. That's not even a link, let alone a credible one.
  14. The National Statistics Office says significantly different: 31.8% of all live births were to non-UK-born mothers in England and Wales (an increase from 30.3% in 2022); this continues a general increase in the percentage of live births to non-UK-born mothers. https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/livebirths/bulletins/parentscountryofbirthenglandandwales/2023
  15. This fact is oft repeated, but ignores the reality that the name is much more common among Muslims than other boys' names. Boys born to white parents tend to have a much more diverse range of names, leading to this false suggestion that Muslim births are out stripping boys of white parents.
  16. What on earth are you wittering on about - "projected onto his own son having the same thoughts"??? If you are going to stalk my posts, try to be at least a little bit coherent in your writing please.
  17. The poor lad needs to be left alone and be allowed to do all the stupid things that the kids of less famous parents do, without the cameras tracking his every move, and the fear of people rushing to sell their stories of him to the highest bidder. It must be difficult enough growing up as the son is such a reprehensible character as DJT, but the boy didn't ask for that. Let him be a goofy teenage boy in peace.
  18. I think we did this yesterday morning. Cast your mind back just 24 hours or so ago to our interaction where I repeatedly asked you to highlight the words which she used to sympathise with the alleged murderer, and you repeatedly failed to do so. Let's just cut to the chase and agree that you are unable or unwilling to think for yourself, and that you let sensationalist right wing headlines guide your world view.
  19. It doesn't matter how many times you try to repeat your same lying narrative, she didn't sympathise. She showed contextual understanding, something that I think is missing from your 2 dimensional world.
  20. Whereas woke means to have emerged from slumber and to be aware.
  21. I think a more important article could be headlined thus: How Corporate Greed Turned an Ordinary Man into a Suspected Killer
  22. There is nothing dishonest about me or my posts however you are trying hard to deflect from your numerous posts where you either lied outright about Warren's statement, or you are displaying a woeful inability to actually comprehend what you read. But don't worry, I won't make you squirm any more - have a good day.
  23. The OED defines dishonesty as "a fraudulent or deceitful act". Please provide details of where I acted either fraudulently or deceitfully. I won't ask you again to highlight the statement from Warren which expressed sympathy for the alleged murderer - I am aware that you can't, because she didn't.
  24. You really aren't making any sense or cogent point; you are just repeating the same poorly thought out line and accusing others of dishonesty. What part of her statement expressed sympathy for the alleged murderer?
