When I worked in Russia I would take the Bangkok - Moscow flight in an Ilyushin Il-96 - huge damn thing that seemed to take forever to get airborne. Then they started to modernise the fleet, I remember my surprise boarding a flight from Moscow to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to find myself on a brand new Airbus A330.
Aeroflot aren't big on frills, but they're perfectly adequate at getting you from A to B. Moscow airports are another story, Moscow Domodedovo is OK, but Moscow Sheremetyevo is a nightmare.
Domodedova airport is completely renewed, where are the times of the cold and very unfriendly airport! I also remember the IL 96 in business it looked more like an old movie theatre with a big screen with curved corners. At that time probably the best pilots in the world!

LGBTI? Have heard of LGBTQ, but the "I" on the end of it is new to me. "Intersex?" What does that mean?
The “I” is for intercourse between a man and a woman. Very dirty!

Quit drinking is not so difficult, the problem is there are few alternatives. I am very happy with the brand 00.0 alcohol-free beer from Korea but there are many brands available (supermarkets) with different tastes. The big problem is that they dont seem available in bars and restaurants. Not available in any airport lounge. Airlines and governement are trying to reduce alcohol consumption but does nothing to promote alcohol free drinks. I suspect that the alcohol-free beers are even taxed the same, anyway each can carries a tax sticker but I dont know what is exactly the meaning of this. It is really annoying to go to a restaurant with limited choice of non alcoholic drinks, so mostly I and up with a glass of sparkling water with a slice of lemon..

Yep meant to say can only have 49% foreign ownership of the total number of units in the condo.
I always wondered...suppose a condominium is fully occupied 49/51 can, in such case, a Thai owner sell his condo to a foreigner?

Dirty fuel, vacuum leaks, faulty low pressure pump, faulty high pressure pump, fuel filters, dirty injectors, compression issues - if you work on diesel engines you wouldn't make that statement.
You are right, my last diesel was a tractor in the corn fields

Come back and call him a "genius" , once his Tesla company makes a profit .
So far , he has spent Billions of other peoples money and doesnt yet have much to show for it .
He is in the spotlight for making false allegations about cavers , using terrible language in twitter spats with journalist , taking drugs in interviews , making false statements about buying all the Tesla shares , whilst at the same time , Mercedes have been building and producing electric cars
Which electric car Mercedes is selling?
Musk is a genius for what he already accomplished.
That’s how I see it, your comments have no effect on my admiration for Musk as an entrepeneur.

The media can make or break a man. What he did with Tesla proofs he is a genius. I admire businessmen who can accomplish so much in such short time.
The continuous pressure on Musk took its toll. I hope he will recover, a good start would be to appologize to the diver.

Fink it' a diesel...[emoji39]
Really?? Very strange to have idle problems on a diesel.

The ECU will show OK if there is no ploblem when they hooked it up to diagnostics...They need to hook it up when the fault is there...So you have a shit ploblem that will be hard to trace..
If besides being erratic idle, the engine stalls, there should be a fault registered in the computer memory. Probably the garage just cleared the fault.
Erratic idle unfortunately can have many causes. I would rather think it could be MAF (Mass Airflow) this sensor is located between airfilter and inlet. Don’t clean it yourself very sensitive. You can however check this by unplugging the MAF if problem gone you know it is a faulty MAF.
Another possible cause could be faulty coils (wire and cover of the spark plugs) if they misfire because of high-voltage leak you could get this problem. When you wait to re-start after erratic idle the engine heat might have evaporated moisture causing the misfire.

Maybe you will find them in these LED shops for car accessories?

Yes you are right about the color of Brembo, but you suggested that the picture from the car had such covers which was not the case.
You are also right that re-assembled cars are a risky project ( in fact the local chassis is an uncut F10 chassis) which they completely strip bare and re-assemble with the M5 parts from Japan. This is indeed a risk if not done properly done, but you would be amazed what these shops can do. Both my car and the car in the picture were re-assembled in the same shop without any problem. Is it a risk? Yes, it is but for 4 milj I have the opportunity to drive the car of my dreams.

Please don’t confuse UV with “black light” these are 2 very different light sources. If you would accidently install a UV light your skin will get burned severely!

Who are the yellow and green taxis owned by? Just curious.
Yellow and green taxis are privately owned ( info from a few owners I know) all other colors are companies.

...replete with the fake, clip-on, Brembo front disk brake caliper covers that are about 80 baht/pair at Chatuchak.
Thailand where the GFE experience isn't just for the love lorn.
First of all Brembo is red. The breaking system of this car has carbon discs (value 500k) this is the same breaking system as used on the new F90 M5

You refer to a 2012 BMW, I guess you want to import an M5? If so there are some people specialized in Thailand who import M5 from Thailand as spare parts and the chassis is cut in half. In thailand they transfer all M5 parts to a local chassis. I have had a E60 M5 and currently have an F10 M5. Both cars look like new. There are a few for sale now 100% legal. Still quite expensive, for an F10 M5 it will be between 4 and 5 mill.
This is one of them for sale..

On the highway Cheang Whattana - Bangkok and also coming from Suvarnabhumi they recently painted full white lines at certain locations. I still try to figure out how drivers can take the exit without crossing these lines...

Every country consists of people on both ends of the IQ, EQ and SQ scales, but as far as foreigners in Thailand goes I would say ignorance and a flawed sense of superiority (through deeper pockets) is a bigger problem. A bit of humble pie would go a long way in many cases.
In the case of this driver, it's highly likely that he is paid shit wages working for a company (as opposed to owning the minivan himself) and under pressure from his employer (or a desperate need to make more money) to get there and back as quickly as possible. Not that it would excuse his behavior in this case (nor his driving), but the current policies and wages putting a lot of people under tons of pressure, when the cost of living is rapidly increasing, certainly does explain how someone can easily go over the edge (and why they drive like this, the reward is often greater than the risk).
That being said, you often get what you pay for in this country. A packed minivan is a relatively cheap way to travel, but it comes with the risk of drivers like that.
You believe the driver would drive safer if paid double salary? Keep on dreaming
