    This has been answered already..

Most of the Thai kids are crying or wandering round in a daze while the little Aussie kid talks to them or tries to engage with them or goes off to play on the slides.

The Aussie kid is miles ahead in interaction and happiness...and I do mean miles ahead...unavoidably in your face obvious...that is why i raising it.

Wait until he meets some British kids his happiness will be curbed.

I think you are a bit of a thicko. You have already stated both his parents are teachers. They are teaching him and helping him with his homework while you are swilling Chang. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

You think they have a lot of homework at the age of 2 years and 8 months ?

Yes how to build a condo out of Lego or maybe he can cook a 99 baht breakfast.

When I was 6 I told my mother I couldn't stand her cooking anymore and made my own food.

I am an Aussie; and why the hell someone would chose an Aussie woman over a Thai ???......

Most thai girls are not all that good looking...............hahahaha. esp the ones that hang around soi cowboy!

Plus sounds like he got free.

You're another member of the "free" gang I presume?

  4. It has little or nothing to do with genes. Psychologists have always debated the difference between nature and nurture.

Having two parents that are teachers can be more of a curse than a blessing because they will always try to hothouse the child and every person I have ever met that has been hot housed has ended up being a social inadequate.

They never live up to the parents' expectations of going to an Ivy League university and often turn to drugs and alcohol and are hopeless at forming relationships.

A loving caring supportive environment is what children need to excel. Those that can,do. Those that can't teach. My best teachers were those that came from a practical background not just pure theorists.

  5. A lot of the social problems Thailand faces now stem from the Asian Economic Crisis of 1997. Prior to this Thais were a lot more respectful, cultured and better educated and also had a future to look forward to because Thailand had been booming up until this point.

The AEC caused a whole generation of Thais to miss out on decent schooling and their parents also had problems providing for them.

Thailand is now having to deal with this lost generation whose future is bleak in a job market that hasn't really seen a salary increase in over 20 years.

  6. Well there's a new Sheriff in town let's see what he's going to do about this attack.

Is he going to initiate criminal proceedings against the bar owner and staff or even advise the victim that he can file his own criminal case against these scum?

Are the TVP going to explain to the victim what legal recourse is at his disposal?

If the Police don't press charges then it's another case swept under the carpet and these beatings and killings will continue unabated.

Perhaps you are unaware of what happens to baby chicks in the west.

In the egg industry, egg chickens have specially bred and are useless for their meat. This means, that every male chick from the 'egg' breed is useless since it can not lay eggs and it can not provide meat.

No one wants to feed billions of useless male chicks, so instead every male chick that hatches in an egg factory is destroyed. It takes a few days until they can tell if they are male or female, but once they can, every male chick is fed in to a grinding machine while still alive and the remains are disposed of.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chick_culling

At least these were fed to some fish, which people will later eat

DP the baby chicks are not disposed of they are ground up and fed to the other chickens. Dead is dead. What a World we live in.

JR Turkish diplomat fresh out of college makes 6k month here, more if he is married. Add to that housing is subsidized, school for kids is basically free. The ambassador makes around 15-20k. The conditions are probably even better for farang diplomats. An average diplomat saves around 100-120k usd per post, a post is 4 years, so I think thats decent money to save. Not only do you earn tax free, you spend tax free too.

But I think the best perk is diplomatic immunity, its such a sweet thing lol.

Yeah DI is great you can take all sorts of illegal substances around the World. How do you think your parents made money.

  9. I have loads of guns and shoot in IPSC and for fun and I also have firearms for home defense.

You obviously have a problem with firearm responsibility. Shooting unarmed people is murder even if they invade your home.

You call the Police and keep them at bay until they arrive.

Firearms cannot be taken into a public area in Thailand. Public Area is purposely undefined.
