  1. Koh Chang is long over due a cull of the scummy dogs that roam around the island. It is a huge problem, which could be dealt with swiftly and cheaply.

The island authorities are aware of this problem, but have done nothing about it.

I am sorry to hear that, which must have been a terrifying experience for your daughter, as well as the family. I hope she makes a speedy recovery.

it is not a cull that is needed...dogs should be neutered by there owners easy and cheap ..

I take it you live on Koh Chang, or are you just making an assumption? A cull of the strays is needed full stop. Otherwise the dog problem will continue. Neutering will be useful after a cull.

been here 17+ years...never had a problem with the dogs...had loads with retarded drunk drivers Thai and westerners..sadly a child has been attacked..but how many people are injured daily by the drunk drivers,,should they be culled?

Do you really believe that the soi dogs are lovely peaceful creatures?

They are more likely to attack you than any drunk driver..even a western one.

Possibly your love of the dogs is the cause for your problems with 'retards'.

  2. It is a pity that the English system for beach chairs is not used.

The beach is open for everybody .If you want a chair you pay but when you leave the vendor must collect and only rent to a customer.

Should you leave the beach the chair can be used for free by anybody if uncollected.

  3. No problem they can then go to the UK and the same. This time they can claim some benefits perhaps

    No' perhaps' about it.

    Plus free housing, medical, schooling.

Libraries that have volumes of English books removed and replaced with books in their own language...Never mind they do not visit libraries to read but to hang out in winter weather.

And god help the digusting white racist that attempts to complain about this favourable treatment to the poor just married non English speaking guy.

  4. Is this the same place where thais are allowed to carry their own clubs [no caddies].

I used it some years back and when this rule came into effect [farangs MUST have caddies] it took ages waiting for the 4+ groups in front carrying their own clubs to clear the greens.

    I have not been since.

I believe the cost then was 150 baht. There were no buggies then.

  5. What has been done to death is the mass of Politically correct rubbish informing the populace that

    'We are all the same'.

    Are we bloody hell...

I have nothing in common with the folk that Macmillan brought into Britain at taxpayers expense when he was P.M..

They were all illiterate and the women wore skimpy threadbare skirts that showed 'Olive Oyle' legs.

But,you say, The men all wore double breasted suits!...

Quite right. As they had no proper clothes, Macmillan emptied the army surplus stores of the many thousand demob suits left over from the war..

All too big for the skinny soldiers that survived.

These were in 3 colours; brown, bottle green and grey and all were given suits that were 2 sizes too large...

The immigrants wearing them never wore any other top clothing...and I am not sure of what else.

Neither do I share any common ground with those from India ,Pakistan and Africa..

As can be seen by the mass exodus of white people when these first arrived in droves in their communities, neither did the rest of the British populace.

  6. If I was a tourist seeking a short break from monotonous work I would not want to spend my hard earned break in a place where the bars close at 1.am

Where gambling [even watching] is against the law and where food/hotel prices for usually substandard quality is on even par with Europe.

Where crime is now on the increase and the tourist is seen as a cash cow and disliked by the vast majority..including those ripping him off.

  7. Have you checked to see if you have pressed the button on the drill that allows it to run in reverse? Usually a button near the trigger,,push in from one side and it runs normal,,push from the other and it runs in reverse.

I have had this super tool for 19 years and only today [thanks to you] did I realise it could go in reverse.

Ps.I bought for 300 baht a new drill in Big C orange coloured named 'WELD'..

It is also very good for those like me that spend little time drilling.

The chuck size is smaller than my old friend but has more power for drilling concrete..

  8. I was drilling a hole with my 'Kraft' electric hammer drill when the drill started to run anti clockwise and unscrewing the chuck.

I have no complaints re this drill as it has served well for 19 years and was inexpensive.

I merely wonder has anyone any idea why this should happen?

I also feel rather sad as I will be losing an old trustworthy friend.

Thanks all, in advance, for any response.

  9. They are here to skim ATMs, work in Phone scams and send e-mails about you winning millions...

Exactly. and the sooner the many of you that have been indoctrinated to believe they are honest folk and have been bullied all their lives can realize the truth the better.

Give a man a plough and he will have food for life.

    <snip>

  10. We all know Clinton got those [him] responsible for this atrocity.

Can you not remember seeing her with her arm around one of the widows and consoling her with the strong words.?

.'.Don't worry,We'll get the guy that made that video'......

And true to her word she did...

I have heard little about it since but I guess the criminal is serving on a chain gang right this minute.

  11. Oh lord...

"One interesting thing about the voters who think Benghazi is the biggest political scandal in American history is that 39% of them don't actually know where it is. 10% think it's in Egypt, 9% in Iran, 6% in Cuba, 5% in Syria, 4% in Iraq, and 1% each in North Korea and Liberia with 4% not willing to venture a guess."

Sent from my SM-N9005 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

    Where it is is irrelevant

WHAT happened there and could anything have been done to prevent it is the issue.

  12. Dogs in Thailand ARE a problem.I have a British man living in the next estate who just adores all stray dogs.He pays Thai men to feed all the strays in this area. And of course many dogs have come to reside near my village.

Many Thai people who buy puppies leave them outside his village when they have had enough of being a 'dog lover' as they know they will be fed twice [at least ] daily.

We now have strangers arriving on motorbikes to feed these dogs with left over food.

What the dogs leave has attracted rats, cockroaches and other vermin.

The howling when a newcomer dog wants residence [daily] is part of my daily life.

  13. So, what have we learned in this thread?

According to one poster, and almost nobody reacted, "where there are black people, there is more violent crime".

In USA, blacks accounted for more than 50% of homicide offenders, even though they only make up 13% of the population. The offending rate for blacks was almost 8 times higher than for whites. I don't think that it is "in their makeup", but it is factual that they commit violent crimes way out of proportion to other races - at least in America.

The same for Britain.Years ago before mugging became a word in the English language and as the black immigrants increased in numbers white people would report that they had been robbed in the street by a coloured gang 'coloured 'was the word always used for the description of 'gang' street robberies.

PS..In those days blacks were called 'coloured'

  14. I think the easiest is for you to give thrm a coat of woodstain.

I think pretty much all the timber treatments now have a certain element of insect preservative.

If you dont want to stain then a clear varnish will harden sufficiently to deter the blighters.

Or you could simply give them a quick spray with the chaindrite can. Thats good for a while then do again periodically.

You just need to be vigilant and keep your eyes peeled at all times for any attack not just forget anf hope.

Thanks eyecatcher. That was the response I was hoping for.

  15. I wonder what can be the attraction for Pakistani muslims for them to come to Britain and raise families there?

Pork, ham and bacon are regularly seen on sale in shops.Women walk the streets unaccompanied by men and are 'uncovered'.

School boys and girls are [were] treated as equals and play together. The muslim religion does not wish to live side by side with any other religion. What can be the attraction for such people?

They came originally to work in the mills when there was a ?shortage of labour/ ?reluctance of Brits to work in the mills ( ?due to very low wages being offered ). When the weaving industry collapsed the British government let them stay instead of sending them back home.

If they were working in Saudi, they'd have been sent back. Which government has sensible "guest worker" policies ( hint- it ain't Britain )?

The mill owners, my paternal grand mother's family among them. Could not accept the industry was on it's last legs and did not to modernise.

The mills have long closed.Still they arrive in vast numbers .It is never ending and there is no work for White British never mind foreigners with barely any understanding of language or culture [ English that is].

As fpr the crap 'they come to do the work that the white English would not do'...It suited[still does] the british government to use this excuse as their explanation for watering down the united white British workforce.

The first arrivals decades ago were single males who were willing to work at low paid jobs.

They soon discovered that by having a large family they had no need to work.

  16. 7by7- I am only curious: do you get it?

I am not talking about your arguments or those against you. I am curious, do you understand why folks like me are worried, or why so many have fear of the Third Jihad of islamic expansion? You appear committed to your line of reasoning, but do you understand the world of islamic jihad today has people worried?

Of course I know that people are worried about Islamic jihad, of course I am aware that Islamic fundamentalism is a problem world wide.

    I am not naïve.

But I am also aware that using any excuse, such as this murder, to demonise the majority of Muslims who are not fundamental jihadists will only add to the problem, not help cure it.

I well remember an educated muslim cleric after the July bombings in London saying ON bbc TV how sad he was that 'innocent people died or were badly injured'.

When pressed on this point he openly admitted that,to him , the only innocent people dead or injured were any Muslims

  18. So this Nigerian loser converts to Islam, gets high and whacks a couple of heads off living things. Why behead? He could have just stabbed repeatedly. The act of beheading has some significance here and use of drugs or alcohol could have merely provided him the courage to commit a beheading.

    From reading all the reports:-

This person gets high, has an argument with his flatmates and picks up a machete and starts swinging it around in anger and/or frustration.

His flatmates flee and he follows them out into the street, but they get in a car and drive away.

In his anger and/or frustration he rages about him, swinging the machete at anything which comes near; a rose bush, two cats and finally poor Mrs. Silva.

A machete is not a stabbing instrument, but a cutting and slashing one.

If he did this due to his possible conversion to Islam, what is the significance of the rose bush and the cats?

What has even the most radical and extreme Islamic jihadist got against them.

Is there anything in the Koran, Hadiths or any other Islamic teaching to say that the faithful should kill roses and cats?

Cut out most of my post, but exactly. Neither you know or I know what motivated this loser or what his thought process was leading up to and during this incident.

Doubtful he would tell those around him if he viewed other beheadings and considered committing similar acts. Nevertheless, you and I can only speculate as to his true motivation or thoughts and it is completely natural that those close to him would initially make public statements premised upon denial of him being a dangerous or bad person. Very common to hear and natural human response to have denial about befriending someone capable of such acts.

What we do know . . . he was a loser Nigerian imigrant with no job skills that became frustrated, considered or converted to Islam, got high, whacked a couple of heads off and caused fear in a neighborhood.

As the Thai police say when a foreigner is involved in a traffic accident..'If you weren't here the accident would not have happened'.

  19. Doesn't explain why he had a machete at his disposure.

Looks like he had an agenda though, not normal to own a machete in London is it?

Commonplace now. Plus swords and cutlasses . Flick knives are old hat now the blades they carry are over one foot long. Especially in North London and Croydon.

Thanks to the left wing and self appointed community leaders demanding a halt to the police's 'stop and search'.

PS re community leaders. I asked Harriet Harman who appointed these 'community leaders' when she was mp for my district. Her response.. They're self appointed'.

  20. Apparently the killer had never had a job and was an aspiring cage-fighter (note: aspiring). He came to the UK as a child from Nigeria brought over by other family members. Why am I not surprised?

Oh well, he will get his army of psychotherapists now and free wide screen tv, X-box and subscription to all cable channels in addition to free bed and board all funded by the taxpayer for the rest of his life. This is what he wanted notoriety and never having to do a tap.

And of course he had been bullied at school which of course accounted for his lack of education, etc, etc, etc,

Never mind his huge stature inside he was a timid schoolboy cowering away from white schoolboy thugs half his size..

As told to me often by social workers when I was employed by the GLC.

  21. Well I'm a sceptic but 'recent convert' and head chopping...

The further disturbing element of this story is how the government tries to convince us that up is down, anything other than Islam. This is similar to the Foot Hood shooting in the USA where it was labeled "workplace violence." At a certain point, negligence can no longer explain the actions of governments willfully abandoning reason.

I honestly can't see any other reason than that they want some kind of civil unrest in Europe and the US.

Nowhere ever has two or more large ethnic or religious groups lived peacefully side by side, integrated and prospered together.

Why would anyone think it would be different this time.

the biggest fear of any government is to have an educated united workforce.

    Divide and rule.
