  1. About 6 years ago I had cataracts so bad I could hardly make out there was an eye chart with left eye. The other eye was affected as well. In Canada the surgery and lenses would be free to me but I'd have to wait 12 to 18 months. An American friend had recently his eyes done at Ratchwithi public hospital. Through him I booked an appointment with a doctor who had just returned from advanced training in California. I week later I had one eye done, then another week, the other. Results were amazing. With the distance lens I could read the bottom line of the eye chart. The other lens was set at computer length. The cost was about 16,000 bt per eye.
  2. Prostatectomy will adversely affect your sex life. No more ejaculations for sure, erections likely impaired or eliminated. Not sure about effects of radio or chemo therapies. Go have a good time before treatment
  3. A few years ago I would go to Panthip Plaza to have computers or phones repaired. They were usaually good and inexpensive. I heard it's no longer a good place. Does anyone have a recommendation? Des
  4. I'm surprised at your experience. I've been using Thai dating sites for over a decade and have had only a couple of negative results. I've met many lovely ladies in that time, some of whom are still friends/lovers after years. Thai Cupid was a good site but I didn't like the cost. I've been using Tagged for a while now. I'll see a 1,000 profiles, like about 20 of them, get responses from maybe 5 and meet up with 2 or 3. I correspond a few times before coming to Thailand and never try to rush things or even mention sex. If the lady does either, I move on. Maybe a factor is that I'm only interested in women over 35. If you're looking at 20's and are over 60, well "go figger, trigger"
  5. I has both eyes done at Ratchawithi public hospital. First rate doctor and service, fantastic results. Cost was less than 40,000bt both eyes. This was 4 years ago.
  6. I had both eyes done at Ratchawithi Hospital near Victory Monument about 3 years ago. Everything was fantastic - the doctors, nurses, staff. I booked an appointment and was seen in a week, one week later the first eye was done, another week the second eye. In Canada it would have been free but I'd have had to wait over a year. Before the surgery I could barely see the eye chart with my left eye, never mind the letters. After the surgery I could read the bottom line. I think I paid about 20,000 baht for each eye - I remember the total cost was about $1,500 Canadian .
