I had no problem signing-up for and playing TUBI on my Hisense (2021 model) Great selection of content. Did you actually sign-up for the service and also, did you send back the confirmation e-mail?
yeah did all this things, and even created TUBI accts on a laptop too... Trouble with my Hisense (2018) is that since the previous Post, even TUBI is no longer on the menu to even Choose it...
- So given all the above, I even tried forgetting about the 'hisense playstore' and tried going basic and trying the Smart TVs own Browser and directly access the TUBI desktop page. Okay can go to the main login page but LogIn cannot be completed, all one can get to do is Input the Password then Email, and the screen goes no further... ps if one inputs Email firstly, even the password cannot be entered... The 'TUBI App'/'TUBI on Browser TV' login are also preventing trying to use 'Facebook login', and 'Email Log in' ... the TV screen simply doesn't let one complete typing it all in...

Practically the whole of your post could of been written by me
Can you even buy a non smart TV over 32"?
I could not believe the price of our 55" TV 20 months ago and will probably get a 65" for our new house next year
A must for any smart TV owners must be a wireless keyboard and mouse if you really wish to use the internet
hmmm, I have an Android phone with Remote Control Apps on it, for both the Sonig and the Hisense... now tempted to interrogate the PlayStore deeper for any App equivalent to providing a keyboard/mouse feature??

Been flying back and forth to various countries for over forty years including business class. Have never been offered a flower, Orchid or otherwise on any of them.
I would prefer they didn't waste my money on such frivolities. Spend it on serving better quality food.
or used it as a garnish

Reading your informative responses, seems I should just stick with a basic, but big, non-smart TV as I am happy watching DVDs from shows recorded in the 90s back into the 60s. No Netflix, sports, or news for me.
And no point in getting anything above 4K as it won't show up due to the age of the shows.
Hope one can still buy a dumb TV here.....
EDIT: Not to mention the fact I don't even have internet...
.
Does anybody know if LOS TV transmissions have all converted up to Mpeg4?

How so....?
well; our SmartTV HiSense32" is heavily biased to use Indian/Chinese media channels
- so it means learning where ones SmartTV was built (or marketed for)
- anyway our Hosense is only good for local channel LiveTV playback, and Youtube.
so one also needs to have the shop staff demonstrate to you what their Smart TV features do?
- for example our Hisense cannot Install Tubi and a whole suite of our platforms -even though they are actually listed on the HiSense32 'playstore'

one thing about buying a (maybe second hand) dumb Tv, is to make sure it's HD reception engine is capable of Mpeg4
- the elder ones sported Mpeg2 only (our recently deceased Sony Bravia HD had Mpeg2, and that particular model was not upgradeable to Mpeg4...
- the result was a Black Screen, Sound only...

Didn't mean to hijack the thread....hopefully this info is valuable to the OP.

I rarely watch TV, but once in a while there is something on I'd like to see.
Mostly I watch DVDs of old TV shows.....so I guess I'll just buy a dumb TV and be happy with it. Thanks.
on our big dumb Soniq Plasma, we enjoy all sorts of Online type entertainment...
- For connection we use our HDMI Port, to which is connected a ROKU Box ????
- this ROKU Box has far greater Power and Versatitlity than our HiSense Smart TV any day!!!

one downfall on many a brand of SmartTV with a Browser, has one required to use the Remotes Up Down Arrows to navigate the screen ????
- hmmm... I wonder, and now will HAVE to try our HiSense to see what happens if one puts a Mouse into the USB??

Can an Amazon Fire Stick be used on a "stupid" TV?
I'm in the market myself for exactly the same thing but prefer not to buy a Smart TV. As I already have Express, I'd also be interested in knowing if this will work on a stupid TV.
... but a stupid (non-Smart)TV wouldn't have a USB port...

Perhaps I wasn't quite clear. My bad
No problem with dirt, I let that settle in the bottom of the tank and syphon it out about once a year.
I was referring to any algae and harmful bacteria that may collect in the tank and pipes that the bleach used to take care of.
Would Peroxide do the same job?
... now trying to 'fathom' how much (how deeps worth) of volume of Peroxide you could afford to maintain at least 3% ?? Or you have siphoned out near all of the water from the tank first?

Thailand becomes first foreign customer of AT-6 light-attack aircraft
in Thailand News
Posted
a Piper Enforcer instead!! not THAT really would do a great job ????
the AT6-B looks mostly an emulation of the PC-9 series
there's quite a few studies of the same aircraft in OP
