    22.5bill baht = $713m dollars or $357m per submarine.

Quite a deal when you consider a Sea-wolf class submarine cost $2.8 BILLION and a Virginia class $1.8 BILLION

But I wonder what the total bill will be: they will have to create specialised maintenance facilities, purchase specialised maintenance equipment, train crews, train maintenance staff!

But the Chinese will supply and provide all training -- at a price!

Good  if painful report  to say the least and the cost is excessive imo. Why any hotel costs 5500baht a  night when good  rooms  can be had for way less anywhere in Thailand  reeks  of scamming and cashing in.

He has 'money' -- pretty obvious by reading his dialogue. He would have paid to stay in a 'better class' hotel than you and I would have been put in: his room overlooked the Chao Phraya River -- hotels a bit pricey there!

Surreal. If anyone killed a family member of mine, death to them!

I expect that, due to the nature of their arrest, the inaccuracy of their police interviews, confusion over evidence, lost DNA, the very strange and quick departure of the relative of the Thai Head Man, and their trial and conviction -- the parents would have 'some' doubt that these two really were the murderers . . . or scapegoats . . . and prefer them not to be executed.

And Boss travelled at 77kph, less than 60kph and 177.25kph. So naturally the "Witness" died of natural causes. Is the other "Witness" under Police protection?

But in the death of this ''Witness'' the police did not fail to administer an alcohol test immediately after the crash -- to prove that it was just an ''accident''.  Well . . . allegedly!

The ''other'' Witness will be under police protection -- none of the protecting officers have ''ever'' been ''accused'' or even ''suspected'' of accepting bribes -- and the Witness is fine -- at the moment!

(Finding officers of such integrity was, of course, very easily done!)

Well, well, well, what do we have here.  Is this the bomb that will sink "Boss" Red Bull, as well as all of those who were on the take and received there brown envelopes.  When there are to many fingers in the pot then there are sure to be screw-ups and evidence of malfeasance to be found.  I will bet that all those involved were pre-warned before this ticking time bomb hit the news and are scurrying for a deep dark hole to hide in.  . . .

Nothing will happen! Drums will be beaten, voices raised with indignation. The Superintendent of Thonglor police will apologise for ''taking his eye of the ball'', a few of the investigating police will be transferred to desk duties ''while under investigation''. Nothing will ever be reported of those who have been suspended (? on full pay)!

None in the police or justice system will be imprisoned, ordered to pay back accepted ''bribes'/payments'', fined, or lose their jobs!  There will be no ''great'' example to deter future RTP and Justice officials' corruption and so it will continue -- and continue to escalate!

''Boss'' will have new/lesser charges made against him -- just for appearance -- and he will continue to live a life of luxury in whatever countries he chooses to live in!

Justice will be seen to be done. Many words and no action. Mass Corruption will continue and this country will continue as normal -- in decline.

2.2 Situation of Patients with Suspected Symptoms of COVID-19 in Thailand.

On 7 August 2020 at 12.00, Thailand announced that 1,461 additional people met the criteria for PUI, raising the total to 385,860 PUI, as shown in Table 2.

    https://ddc.moph.go.th/viralpneumonia/eng/file/situation/situation-no216-080863.pdf

I have absolutely no idea what ''2.2 Situation of Patients'' or ''PUI'' mean!

    Can anybody help me?

    Looks terribly stupid.

Looks like brainwashing and fear works beyond expectation.

But 5% thinking brains is probably the common world percentage.

A ridiculously low number of people polled to get a true feeling of the population. Very silly to report it. But ''brainwashing''? No, definately not -- you can't say that.

And I can quite imagine that the majority of the population (the majority are not involved in the tourist industry ''directly'') do not wish to see people from heavily infected areas allowed into the Kingdom!

Parts of China, S. Korea, and the UK are still in lockdown. Cases are still occurring throughout the world. And the Monday figures (Monday's are always low due to data recording) were: USA 412, Brazil 716, India 675, Russia 95, UK 27!

Those figures would make every intelligent person ''a bit'' worried!

Of course, we all now know that the USA's leader claims that the Yanks have the lowest number of deaths in the world with 143,289 -- and 3,898,550 cases -- so obviously the USA is very safe! ????  The country that some have a ''Covid-19 Party'' to see if they can catch it -- or not!  ????

If anything looks ''terribly stupid''; ''brainwashing and fear works beyond expectation''; and ''5% thinking brains'' it's what has been coming out of that country recently!!!

    Great, I'm allowed back in!

Or I would be if wasnt in Thailand already.

But how many more announcements about the rules do we need, each one provoking several pages of comments on thaivisa?

I wonder how unmarried father's carry a birth certificate of their child with them when they travel abroad to prove this for use on their return?

Or perhaps it is up to the mother to go to the authorities with the certificate for further processing so that it eventually gets to the immigration officers at Swampy and is available on the day of arrival?  Sounds an impossible situation to me!
