    Appears to me that the level of damage to the front of the pick up, that one or both were travelling at quite some speed unless it was a large heavy bike and the rider was also heavy.

    Please please start with Sukhumvit soi's 3 and 4, not only do the illegally parked cars taxis and motorbikes cause terrible congestion they also create dangerous situations. Should be easy enough there is a police box complete with multi CCTV cameras on the corner of Sukhumvit Rd and the Soi 3 & 4 intersection.

    Yes everyone knows what a money grabbing state the hospital system there (USA) is and unfortunately it's the same here due to the monopolization of the "business" by the private hospitals

    Just look at the number of times pedestrians are injured while using the "zebra crossing" by motorbikes passing cars that have stopped to allow the pedestrian to cross.

    In "other" countries the police are correctly termed law enforcement officers, they do not make the laws nor do they have discretionary powers, to do so simply opens the way to corruption. Their job is to enforce the road laws and laws of the land. Now for Thailand, .......lets stop here.

    A concise and legalistic answer seems to have been requested. It dosent matter what you "think" or "in another country" What is her status?

    A teacher should be allowed a range of correctional punishments but not physical, The students should be made aware in advance of the powers available to the teacher. And when those powers may be applied should also be indicated to the students IE. yellow card, etc The penalties should impact to the parents. eg. One month suspension, fee penalty, etc.

    Drive down Soi 3 Sukhumvit Bangkok in the evening, what a shambles, "no parking" signs totally ignored, taxis double parking, and the latest; a truck stopped near mid road selling ice cream from a rear counter. Total absence of law enforcement. Is it any wonder that Thai roads are so dangerous.

    Bought a 2Tb external hard drive for B1600, Windows 10 capable. Did not work when I tried it so I opened the black external case. The drive inside it showed the truth, it was actually 160 Gb, manufactured in Thailand in year 2008, seven years before Windows 10 was released. Lazada help was very good and I got my money refunded, but even though I told them about the supplier scam (Thailand Rangsit area) there has not been any follow up.

    And I guess you will also accept that the road carnage can continue. Corruption is one thing lack of law enforcement is the other, and I suggest the real reason for such a high road death tally.

    Please also condemn the motor riders who also are major offenders, note that 80% of road deaths are motor bike victims. Every incident needs to be actioned upon, unfortunately there is more to be made from car drivers than others thus the focus.

    I really hope motor bike riders are going to be subject to this scheme if so many of them wont last 6 months.
