Have they all been moved to an inactive post yet?

I do this route regularly too and I find that the return to BKK is always a bit slower than leaving. I leave BKK around 9.30-10.00 am and coming back around the same so I’m into the construction around 11am. It’s always busy but manageable. Last Tuesday however was the worst I’ve experienced in a long time. I’ve tried all the other routes but never seen any real benefit.

I’ve been using the UKexpat VPN for a few years now and although there have been issues occasionally I’ve always managed to resolve them with the help of great customer service. All that seems to have changed now and they’ve recently (over an issue with Sky News Live) been unhelpful to the point of being rude. So I’m ready to leave if I can find a reliable alternative. I realise free is unlikely, but I’m looking for suggestions based on your own experience and knowledge. Thanks in advance.

I haven’t done a TM30 since all the fuss that went on 4 or 5 years ago. Pre Covid I travelled out of Thailand around every 4-6 weeks but post Covid just 3 times in the last 12 months. Within Thailand I always check into hotels with my pink card. I have no idea where I stand with TM30 now.

I guess I’m just lucky, I rarely seem to have issues and recently I’ve had a few really decent drivers. Having said that, I avoid sukhumvit and other ‘tourist hotspots”, I’m rarely there at night so use skytrain. Bolt can never find a location and wait times are always long. My success rate in trying to use them is about 10%. I’ve also noticed that fares have rocketed recently.

Airline is good, website is dreadful and the app even worse. Every time I’ve used them they’ve weighed my carry on. Beware you daren’t go over by even a gram.
