Have 3 American bullies who are on a complete raw diet, i usually buy pork lungs which are low fat and high protein i also buy chicken carcasses both these are about 20 baht per kilo. To the meat i add a small oily fish, garlic, oregano (antioxidant ) vegetable oil, lemon juice (mosquito repellent ) and EM effective microorganisms to aid digestion and also to reduce meat odour if not eaten straight away. Don't worry about chicken bones they are soft and only become a problem if cooked as they can splinter. Tinned dog food is about 70 % water and very expensive the dry food is fully of fillers like cereals which a dog does not require in its diet. And I worm my dogs often to be on the safe side, any waste meat goes in my pond for my alligator gar fish

These tricks and mind games have been played on farang guys by Thai Girls for decades about time roles were reversed shame that they are prosecuted because they are non Tgai

Very difficult to be organic in LOS mainly because most farmers rely on klongs for irrigation and these klongs are shared. So when the rice farmer upstream has grown his rice using chemical fertilizers and has sprayed chemicals to kill weeds abd again to kill insects, before ge can harvest the rice he needs to empty the paddy field of water he does this by returning it to the klong.
This contaminated water is then used for irrigation kn other farms. Thai government issue organic certificates but not worth the paper its written on, i can take soil to be tested, and get a certificate but could take soil from anywhere and say its mine.
this bit my wifes employer in the ass, been selling coconut water in US as organic last container ge sent was tested by customs and found not to be organic and was confiscated.

i would suggest going to consulate in Laos and applying for double entry tourist visa if there is a possibility you may want to stay longer. just be prepared to show you have funds to support yourself. the immigration police have been warning people for months that the days of the visa run is coming to an end. you might be lucky and be able to do a visa run just don't count on it any more They can stop you from leaving Thailand into Myanmar as you can not get a visa on arrival. Laos they cant stop you leaving but can stop you from returning

even when they have a barrier some clowns try to weave in between the gates. like many Thais are unable to foresee the consequences of their actions

Accidents happen in the west but generally speaking you can predict what people in the car ahead are likely to do, here you have to expect the unexpected at every junction slip road roundabout or traffic light. its exhausting and very frustrating to drive here

had friend whose g/f decided she wanted him to buy a car and put it in her name. he paid minimal deposit and then min monthly payments on the car. several months later he found she had another guy on the side so he cancelled the insurance and drove the truck into a wall.he left her and also left her with 700,000 baht worth of finance to pay off

Get this sorted before you come or will become a hassle further down the line
Not sure how you obtained a Non O visa (Retirement Marriage etc) but to obtain an extension you will have to submit all the required paperwork for that particular visa having all the paper work from the school will not get you an extension for a Non O
If you arrive in Thailand on a Non O and need to change to a Non Ed then you will need to leave the country and visit a consul in Lao etc as you cannot change visa types in country (except from a tourist visa to another type)
you son is on the correct visa as he will be staying with you providing you have a valid extension

forget about the legal aspects for a moment what about morality why would you want to buy body parts especially that of an infant
And secondly i would no longer call a person my friend if they sent me something so gruesome in the post. i love a good practical joke but this idiot has taken things too far.

A european body but not the one we are looking for. so another dead farang in a matter of weeks hmmm unlucky or a tourist death trap

you will have no problems as you are a regular tourist not a visa runner
-
might as well wait till his ed visa expires then leave the country and return on a tourist visa he can then go to immigration and apply for a retirement visa providing he has all his ducks in a row, problem is if he is not from a country which gives 30 days visa exempt,on entry and immigration insist on 15 days remaining on a visa in order to process new one. that means have to do a border crossing and get to the immigration office in one day

Started an investigation into Mr Sharky but no mention of an investigation into his allegations of theft made by him, This is a high profile case and the government should be stepping in and ordering an independent investigation

the problem is the land is returned to the landless farmers who then sell it again, this land has not just been stolen at gun point, the farmers have sold cheaply without the deeds was offered 20 ra of hill forest a few years back for about 200,000 baht but with no deed of ownership

have you ever tried using a roundabout in Thailand it's every man for himself they ignore or don't understand the stop and give way markings
daughter friend brought the Thai highway code she was using for her test all it consisted of was road signs and road marking pictures with their names it made no reference what the signs and markings mean and what you must do when you approach them

i believe it's residency that can be applied for after 3 years of visa extensions (don't think multiple entry visas apply) then after a certain number of years can go through the long process of applying of Thai citizenship
Think Residency is still a pain and only 100 people from each nationality are approved each year
here is link about applying for citizenship

Don't know whether he is very brave or just very stupid
can feel his frustration but don't think this is the way to go about things, yes it's a lot of money but people are killed in Thailand for a lot less than that.

If you are intending to leave the country and sort out your overstay problems, why not leave the country at Laos and travel to the Consulate/embassy in either savannakhet or Vientiane and apply there for a non B visa
You will need the school to provide you with all the required paperwork together with your degree and transcript, you will be given a 3 month visa then you can go to your local immigration and apply for a years extension
during you 3 month visa you school can apply for your work permit etc ready for you to apply for the extension
Before the trolls come out from under the bridge telling me you can not work till you have the work permit in hand yes in an ideal world that is true but TIT and the bureaucracy in this country is far from perfect.

4.3 million beef cattle
has he seen the cattle in and around the provinces very few are what i would call beef cattle
and the quality of the meat is terrible compared to the west
think he should be looking at introducing better cattle breeds to the breeding programmes they have with free straws and insemination to farmers

easy way is to stop cars from being assembled in Thailand (unless it is a registered car manufacture assembly plant eg Honda) this will stop people importing luxury cars to avoid tax payments, it will also unsafe cars from being put onto the roads you all know the ones two different cars welded together that just disintegrate on impact.

Martial Law will certainly be a factor of low tourism but it is not the sole reason for a decline in tourists as i see it are
A military coup
Demonstrations (pre Coup)
High profile murder case on Koh Tao which many believe has been mishandled and the real killers are still at large
The Thai baht is being over valued making Thailand an expensive holiday destination
decades of unscrupulous Thai vendors/mafia being allowed to target holiday makers for various scams (now in the days of social media when someone has a bad experience in Thailand they post on social media sites such as FB and it is visible to all their friends and friends/friends resulting in people choosing an alternative holiday destination )
This creates the perfect storm and results in 2.2 million less tourists

think it's time to get a dash board cam as this is going to end in tears, the 100 baht usually extorted from drivers is not for committing an offence as the police make them up as they go along, they pay it so they don't get messed around
Penalty for not paying rent in time
in Chiang Mai
Posted
I have couple of houses and 10 room apartment and have 2 tenants who are always late and always have excuse on hand. Rent has not been paid this month, I have late fee written into the contract but not enforced it but getting beyond a joke now. The late payment is made worse because they also have to pay for electricity and water, when they are late not only do I not get money I'm owed I have to put my hand in my own pocket to pay there amenities.
