  1. I understood this 10b does not include the red trucks. The 10b and 2 for students applies to the green trucks. They are the ones who are restricted to a route. Theoretically they should be like bangkok, or any other bus system. Problem. I have been looking for some kind of published schedule. There are designated pick up and drop off stops. Can anybody help me out on this.

  2. Unless you live a very expensive lifestyle in Australia you will not find A 10% cost if living here. I don't how how this stuff gets started. Maybe 10yrs ago. The ads will tell you that a US citizen can live the high life in CM for $1200 month. Sure, If you never need medical care, a vehicle, descent apt. AC, groceries. I know people who can do it if you live more like the majority of Thai. There are plenty of articles about the people who move here that studied the place through rose colored glasses. I LOVE it here and very possibly not move back to US, but it's very hard to get realist information about anything in Thailand before you move here. Hey, what's the worst that could happen? You can always move back home. It's worth the try. Like everything else, it is what you make it.

  3. I have been Ram. Meds: Crestor, previcid, ambian, lamictal, cymbalta, celebrex. Ram hospital cost of Dr & meds 16000b. Twice what I pay out of pocket with ins. Most of them are now generic but the cost is still the same as the original.

Then I went to CMU TEACHING hospital/gov. The Gov side is Sriphat. It was only 12000b, but was minus one med. A nd the ambian is dispensed 10 pills at a time even though I brought every medical file and a Cvs list of meds for the last 4 yrs. My meds were prescribed 90 at the time. Thailand refused.to continue the practice. I hope when I get all these back home BCBS will reimburse me. So every month I payout almost $500. So far all I've really saved is 1/2 cost on rent. I think the LIVE HERE FOR $1200 AND LIVE BIG is a stretch.

  4. If you like furniture that all looks like walmart assemble your self, or really hard furniture you can find it anywhere. If you want a more American style or leather go to the second floor of Index Furniture on the super highway about

1 km from Festival mall. The other Furniture Index stores do not carry these items.

  5. The gov reduced gas to help with economy the lowered the income for drivers. Does this make sense? I would never pay a driver .30 for a fare. That's rediculous. I'll pay what the trip was worth to me and always a 20b tip.

  6. You men are such "men". What's the hurry. What do you lose by waiting. There are LOTS of men here who lost everything doing just what your thinking about. If she loves you she will keep on loving you if you rent a small condo and tell her you are watching your money, it's in investments and you can't draw from it for 2yrs. Please.

  7. This is a opportunity for you to talk to a lot of men who have done this. MOST WILL TELL YOU NOT TO DO IT. If she's not willing to start off with a small condo or apt. I'd walk away. Has she asked for the car yet, or the jewelry, or money for the family? Go slowly and hold on to your wallet.

  8. I also saw one very similar in Baan Tawai. It's on the main road near the markets. There are 2 wicker, b & chairs usually sitting out front. Walk through to the back room.
