Neither are imports from those FTA countries considering the huge tariffs most of them attract!
Yes Thailand seems to think FTA's only apply in one direction...those nasty foreign imports have to be highly taxed !

new..must stick on motorbike
You where fined for not displaying the TAX ( not insurance) lots of people keep it under the seat
(most cops seem happy enough with that)..the glass tubes have been popular for a while now..but they can be difficult to read
I think if you argued at the police station showing the evidence it was displayed in the tube they maybe would let you off with a warning.
They also have been known to fine people for leaving the rear foot pegs down when not carrying a passenger.

It's quite a way out of Pattaya city..I think anyone who managed to drive themself there ( in one piece from Pattaya) would not need much more tuition ????

the simple solution is to remove any dog without a collar.
Remove any dog not accompanied by its owner with or without a collar..the idiot feeders already put collars on their "not my pets" to try and fool the dog catchers.

Nitrogen? Nitrogen doesn't burn. It is an inert gas making up nearly 80% of the air we breath.
Maybe Hydrogen would work better.

Yesterday was sports day at my grand daughters school..its next to a temple the monks decided it would be a good day to have a huge bonfire with billowing thick black acrid (plastics) smoke for the kids to breath in all day !! ????

Huh? Why should there no traffic be coming from the left at an intersection?
I'm going to have to draw a picture ? any traffic coming from the left should be on the other side of the road..even if they are turning right into the road you are coming out of they should not be on your left and as they are crossing the dividing line they have to wait anyway.

wasting time at work due to necessary smoke breaks
Well before the "witch hunt" there was no time wasted for smoke breaks as everyone could just smoke wherever they where working (with a few exceptions)

Financial costs are all due to the very high tax imposed by governments...if tobacco is so bad ( its probably bad like living in a highly polluted city) why don't governments totally ban it ?

the valves are already out of specs, and the chain slack was adjusted;
The timing chain that drives the valves or the chain that drives the back wheel ?

The only country afaik where they deviate is the UK: drive on the left, give way to the right. Everywhere else it is either 'drive left, give way to left' or drive right, give way to right'. But probably there are 1-2 other deviations.
Well coming from the UK it makes perfect sense to me that you give way to traffic coming from your right at junctions as there should not be traffic coming from your left..( here in Thailand there often is ie: they are driving on the wrong side of the road )
It makes no sense to me to give way to the left when there is no traffic to give way to !! even less sense to be giving way to anyone just willy nilly turning out in front of you from the left ( side roads) again I know the bikes will often do it and sometimes cars/trucks too.

And are there any other ramifications to overstaying the day?
Well maybe
But normally if you get to the airport without being arrested then they will fine you 500 baht per day up to a certain many days ( maybe 90 ) then they start to hand out bans from entering the country.

They don't need spaying or neutering...they need to be removed/culled and the "not" owners fined for letting their "pets" cause chaos and mayhem.
