  1. The push knife theory comes from conjecture on social media.

It does but I would be interested to hear your thoughts on what you thought made those wound to his face?

At first I believed the wounds to David looked similar to that inflicted by a 'push-knife. blade (I actually have one of these knives), but since photos have emerged regarding a certain stingray ring being worn by a certain resident of Kho Tao, the circumferences of the wounds on the outside would look very similar, I really hope the pathologist in the UK took indentation moulds of those wounds on David when his body was returned to the UK, so they can be verified against certain weapons, if the wounds are about 1/2inch in depth then I believe this would rule out a 'push-knife' blade which is about 2inches in blade length, thus directly pointing the finger at the owner of the stingray ring coffee1.gif

  2. What you are missing is that most disbelievers here will not believe it if it matches -- they will simply say the police here replaced it or gave bad samples or blah blah blah. Have you not seen that already? They simply ignore or say they don't believe whatever fact is out there if it means accepting the two guys in customdy ... who confessed to the police, their embassy, lawyers and a human rights group before reportedly now taking it back and whose DNA matches and who numerous witnesses and video put them in and around the scene at the time of the murders and who had an item belonging to a victim at their home ... are likely the ones guilty and should stand trial.

They would rather believe the some of a wealthy islander did this because airlines have not shared with them their manifests and the university has not come out publicly saying he was in Bangkok attending classes and that the video showing him Bangkok was faked and that the police are protecting him. Why do they suspect him ... no logical reason at all accept they think because his father (well not his actual father if his DNA cleared the son) is rich he could get away with it.

You have just hit the nail right on the head, all the Thai policeman slip up sometimes, revealing what they actually know about this case (and others before it), what a douchebag....cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

  3. DNA has likely been faked, and destroyed as this would implicate the police tampering.

Expect the two boys to be released soon and the real sweating on Kho Tai to begin,

They have one week to let the kids go

Now as I understand you when the two killers are released the real sweating will begin.

Makes sense to me no need in worrying about them when they are locked up.

So you have already convicted the 'two suspects' then, prey tell when did you hold your own court hearing for them?

  4. Funny how whenever 'foreigner' is mentioned there is a collective clenching of butt cheeks by TVF members.

Doesn't it cross your minds that Africans, South Asians, Chinese etc are also classified as foreigners? In fact, I reckon George would garner at least double the members if he created a Chinese language version of TV.

But good...I do hope some farang trash is scooped up in this net and booted out.

    You leave when ?

Who do u you think you are judging people ? I guess 95% of all Thai / farang marriages are a sham, its just that the dumb farang think the Thai girl loves him ( lol)

The real trash are those fat alcoholics who seem to think they can buy love, just go back to your home country to find out what your peers think of what you are doing, you would get shouted down on the street for being a pervert..... so think before you judge others.

Someone has a comprehension problem and gotten their panties all knotted up.

It would appear that you can't grasp what I said. It was in reference to (hoping) that some of the farang dross here in Thailand, that contribute zip in the form of taxes or welfare, break the laws and cock a thumb to the rules, would be scooped up in the net. And your problem with this, is?

Or perhaps it's a little too close to home for your liking? Either way, you have successfully alienated a good percentage of the TVF forum with your take on their 'perversions'. I didn't know marrying into another class, ethnicity or age group was a perversion.

And only picking on fat alcoholics - many alcoholics I have met are skinny because they are too busy drinking to waste time eating.

Or maybe because he is a skinny alcoholic

Or maybe not even a Thai girl will say she loves him.

Alcoholics go to meetings, drunks go to parties!!!! cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

  5. Pretty big deal in the scheme of things and doubtless some face lost, especially for the weak UK 'ambassador' to Thailand with his praise for the police's handling of the investigation. They'll get the runaround, no doubt, and it'll be like working with tetchy teenagers, but if the Thais do sandbag this (foregone conclusion) they could be looking at some interesting travel advisories.

Some people have to find something negative in everything!

I'm sure Mark Kent was involved in getting this result and I don't see he has a problem with the size of his gonads. If you don't have anything nice to say it's best to say nothing at all.

daveAustin: It is best just to appear stupid, than to open your mouth to confirm it!!!! cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

  6. To validate DNA tests, they can obviously get a sample from the two boys. I wonder if the police still have the semen from the victims body to get a new sample from? Or just the DNA test results, which could be from somewhere else i.e. taken from the boys later on, not from the semen.

Seems like no semen no verification.

DNA samples WERE taken from both Hannah's & David's bodies upon their return to the UK, THAT is British law for any UK citizen murder abroad, period.....

  7. So much for Local Drunk and his entire day of trying to convince everyone that the petition was useless and wouldn't make any difference here..... Lol

I suspect large servings of 'humble pie' for breakfast now that Koh Tao will soon have 'The Plod' sniffing around.

I would call that a massive difference.

I bet certain bums are going to be squeaking on that island when they read this.

I suspect certain people will be on the first boat off and onto the first plane to Cambodia.

The British police will quickly eliminate the two young lads, and then make a list of suspects. They will surely be picking up Mr McCanna to find out what he knows.

This is going to be like peeling a banana.

Yes 'Local Drunk', you can just go sit back on your barstool & shut your big mouth over this matter

  8. when you have an extension visa, when you go abroad you need a reentry visa (it depend of what u need ...single or multiple) document otherwise you loose the one you had running....

i mean, i dont want to be impolite but everybody having the foot in the ground knows that, you dont need to make a post here for such a thing.

    cheers

    hit-the-fan.gif.pagespeed.ce.6UelFDbFNJ.

Extension's are NOT Visa's, Re-entry are NOT Visa's....you are only making things even more confusing for the uneducated, I request that you use the correct & proper terminology

  9. Those New Years calendars should do the job...

    Sure thing......

This New Year stuff. As I recall, last year Pattaya announced it held the world record for the longest New Year countdown.

So, what did that mean. Well, I went down to have a look about a week before New Year. It seemed to me to be simply putting up loads of stalls selling the usual food and junk clothing. Maybe I missed something. I'm sure other posters will tell me if I did.

Anyway, not only did they have the world record but announced proudly that visitors from all over the world attended this event. (The fact the 'visitors' were already here did not seem to impact on the desire to imply people had jetted in for this huge event).

Actually, if all TV posters agreed we could announce we've started our New Year countdown now, thus smashing the world record! cheesy.gif

Sorry for being such a cynic, but the current climate brings out the worse in me. Perhaps if I could listen to the radio I would not be browsing this thread.

The count down until Christmas 2014 has begun

    71 days until Christmas

  10. Then why are all my favorite hotels charging higher advertised rates this year than the same months last year?

Because Thai's have a backward thought on business sense, they believe that if booking numbers are down they can charge higher prices to whatever guests they do get to make up the difference, when really they should be lowering their prices to attract more guests, go figure!!!! coffee1.gifcoffee1.gif

  11. We are not married (yet), & have not been to the Family Court to have myself recognised as the legal father (yet), when I went to Vientiane 2 1/2 months ago all I needed was the Birth Certificate which states I am the father, copy of mothers ID (signed by g/f) & a copy of the blue house book (signed by g/f's mother), I did take proof of income of 40,000+Baht per month from overseas but they never asked to see it, they would only give me a single entry 3 month Non-O Visa, but while I was there somebody told me I could get a 1 year Visa from Savannakhet so that was where I was planning on going for my next Visa

As mentioned above, multi-entry is given only for being married to a Thai, not for having a child.

However Savannakhet can be more convenient anyway.

Not when living in Nong Khai it isn't, I can be at the Vientiane Thai Embassy before 11am on the same day, it just means having to stay for one night, no big deal thumbsup.gif.pagespeed.ce.dtxKiAJ9C7.gif

  12. Well, that bugger's up my plans to go to Savannakhet at the end of October to get a 1 year multi Non-O Visa on the basis of supporting a child....rolleyes.gif

I failed to ad the bit about getting one if you are legal parent of a child by way of marriage or legitimization.

They are very picky about doing one if you are divorced. You will need everything ot do with your divorce and custody.

If the legitimized father you will also need something to prove your child is living with you unless you are still living as family with child's mother. It helps to have the child and their mother with you when you apply.

  13. Correct me if I am wrong....

I am on my way to Savannakhet and arrive there on tuesday (7am). parking the car overnight at the bridge, and crossing over on the first bus at (8am). Processing a 90 day O Visa at 9am at the consulate in Savannakhet... (have abundant documents for proof of income, etc), but will not show unless asked. Have Affidavit of Income from the US Embassy, and am Sixty years old, clean and tidy, well spoken. Return to the consulate the same day, about 3pm, to hopefully pickup the visa, and re-enter Thailand.

My 2 options for the 90 day O are....

    1. Based on Retirement...single entry 90 day O and then apply for a one year extension.

    2. Multiple Entry 90 day O (I really do not mind if I leave the country every 90 days...in fact, I need to do that anyways).

My question is.... Can I still get an extension 30 days before the Multiple entry 90 day O expires? If so....I would prefer this one. The form is the same? The cost is double the single 90 day O? Any complications with that?. If I get the single, I would have to get re-entry permits anyways. I want to live here, but need to see my son in the Philippines every 90 days. The price of several re-entry permits, along with the inconvenience of reporting (in Chiang Mai) every 90 days makes the Multiple entry 90 day O look best for me.

Second question...any problems re-entering on the same day with the new 90 day O???

As said you will not a multiple entry non-o in Savannakhet unless you are married to a Thai.

Once you get your one year extension of stay you can apply for a multiple re-entry permit that costs 3800 baht that will be valid for the length of the extension.

If you leave before you stay here for 90 days you do not need to do 90 day reports to immigration. The 90 days starts again from the the date you enter the country including that day.

  14. COUPLE SHOT IN JEALOUSY INCIDENT
Click the link to watch this (and many other) TV news stories: http://www.pattayapeople.com/Crime-News/COUPLE-SHOT-IN-JEALOUSY-INCIDENT_1110201407
Pattaya Police were notified on the morning of Friday, 10th October by a nurse at Banglamung Hospital that 2 teenagers had been admitted to the emergency room with bullet wounds. Police officers were sent to the hospita...l and the scene of the incident on Thepprasit Road in South Pattaya. At the hospital, officers came across 19 year old Mr. Nattapong and 17 year old Miss Nattawan, both with bullet wounds to their stomachs and upper body. A friend came forward to state that earlier they were all part of a gang, dancing and drinking at the pub. When they left the pub, a gang of 8 male teenagers approached them on motorcycles and one man named Pee pulled out a gun and fired it continuously at the couple before fleeing the scene. At the scene of the incident outside a pub off Soi 2 near the boxing stadium, police found 20 spent bullet shells. Police believe it is a case of jealously as apparently, Pee used to date Nattawan. A report was made and police are now tracking down pubs that are operating illegally by allowing underage teenagers to drink in their premises. See More
  15. Hello all... I'm helping out the guy who is running the petition (http://goo.gl/FD66Th) to get the UK gov to independently investigate David and Hannah's murders and I need a favour from you wonderful people... The numbers of signees are slowing down somewhat, but we need to keep going - if we reach 100k (currently just over 50k) we can ask for it to be discussed in Parliament.

Anyway trying it tap into new channels outside if what we are currently hitting, so we've just set up a Twitter account - if you have twitter can you pls follow us and give us a share/retweet? Many thanks... We are at: @ThailandJustice

    Thank you

You may want to add. The petition page where you sign is defaulted in Thai language. So if you do want to do this scroll down to the very bottom of the page and there is a language box drop down menu. Here you can change it to English.

The language is defaulted to the country you are currently in from which you accessed the site!!!!

  16. Would love to, but what goes where? it is all in Thai. i tried and filled in what I thought was correct, but it was rejected.

I just looked at it & the top portion was in English, the bottom half is in Thai. It's pretty simple. Just fill in the form on the right & click the big honking "Submit Button" below it.

32 people have signed it in the last 10 minutes or so.

I just went on the site again and the box in red you fill in is all in Thai. Why have this box in Thai or is that who you are targeting to sign?

I think there is a drop down menu you get by clicking in the bottom right corner. No idea why it's in Thai, but maybe lots of Thais are signing up

Cannot get English. I'm using a tablet computer. Got my Thai wife to translate and after 10 minutes just gave up. Want to sign but finding it way to difficult and by the sounds of it others are having the same problems.

    1st box = 1st name

    2nd box - surname

    3rd box = e-mail address

    4th box = current city

If currently living/staying in Thailand, uncheck little box above big red button

    HIT BIG RED BUTTON
