  1. It doesn't matter what country they come from or what they do for a job, you have two types of women in this world.

    1. The bare foot pregnant in the kitchen type, who just want to have a husband and a family and live a happy normal life.
    2. The I'm going to screw you and every other man for every cent you have and lie and play games and be a bitch, just because you had sex with me - Type.

Its a shame that a lot of Thai women are like this, if you watch the local Thai days of our lives day time dramas on TV you will see were they learned it from...If its on TV then it must be ok to behave like that.

  2. <script type='text/javascript'>window.mod_pagespeed_start = Number(new Date());</script>

Aside from the recent 'attitude', has she completed her work to a satisfactory standard? If so (IMHO), a small tip would be appropriate (bear in mind that you might want her to 'temp' again in the future).

If she has performed "above and beyond" then a generous tip is called for.

"above and beyond' the job description, well now that's mighty interesting and if true, I repeat my earlier comment, have you made your own problem?.

If he made his own problem then he may have to consult this.....

  3. ... is that a safe area these days???

Satun, Malaysian/Thai border. 1000 baht for mini bus return. There and back in a day.

Of course it's safe .. It's never been unsafe.

Even the crossings down in Narathiwat are fine, do you think armed insurgents hold up mini vans in search of infidels or something ?

Sent from my iPhone using ThaiVisa app

I have driven by myself through pattalung and pattani to Navtivas and crossed the border to Kota baru , for a 12 visa renewal and I never felt safer.

Satun, Malaysian/Thai border. 1000 baht for mini bus return, There and back in a day, is the way to go !!

  4. I'm a little surprised by some of the public displays of ignorance shown here. Termites do not like sugar - ants do. (Termites are not ants.) Adding sugar to a poison will do nothing.

Borax/boric acid are not particularly effective termiticides; bicarbonate of soda most definitely isn't effective at all. (Thought it might ease them if they have acid indigestion after eating all that sugar.)

That is if they liked sugar in the first place.

  5. This pic has done the rounds but to my knowledge has never been satisfactorily explained. This is what the Naga is supposed to look like.

It's an oar fish that was hit by a Navy seal Rib and severed most of its head.

The seal team brought it back to shore and took the photo.

Some time later some clever dick in Thailand saw a Payanaga story in it and it went viral all over Thailand.

Or maybe some small part of the MH370 that wandered off ...??

That's It, That's what happened to MH370, the pilot saw a Payanaga and was hypnotized by its non Oar fish like head, the plane then disappeared with out a trace and I would go as far as saying that if they were to dig a bit deeper in Korat they have a better chance of finding MH370 with all of the passengers alive than actually seeing a real life NAGA. And if you believe that you will believe anything!!

Did they put a different head on it? Because the head isn't the same as an Oarfish. I read the wiki explanation a long time ago.

  8. Nessie was deliberately faked as an act of retribution.

    Retribution for?

Essentially, the author said, it was a toy submarine bought from F.W. Woolworths with a head and neck made of plastic wood, built by Christian Spurling, the son-in-law of Marmaduke Wetherell, a big game hunter who had been publicly ridiculed in the Daily Mail, the newspaper that employed him. Spurling claimed that to get revenge, Marmaduke Wetherell committed the hoax, with the help of Chris Spurling, his son Ian Marmaduke, who bought the material for the fake, and Maurice Chambers, who asked surgeon Robert Kenneth Wilson to offer the pictures to the Daily Mail.

    Plastic Wood???

  9. The 100K Baht agents fee is pretty much average for Thais working overseas whether it be Sweden, Japan, Taiwan, Israel etc. It covers visas, flights and other costs involved in the applicant getting the work.

    Meets my experiences.

I took the risk to give a loan of 100k for a guy going to Israel (with some garantuee).

So far his family pays back in time whistling.gif (money flowing in).

    Is she good looking?
