Great...now how about prohibiting drunkards peeing in the Soi allys too ?
-
The rules are specific to individual venues. For example...no entry to MRT/BTS/Malls/Large Stores without a mask. No entry to airport without a mask. Walking around outside, nobody is going to hassle you or even care.

While the Police and the Immigration are different departments, they are effectively the same. If any police officer suspects you are on overstay, they will check that and arrest and imprison you if that is the case.
The local RTP office couldn't care less...in fact they won't even investigate a traffic accident unless there are deaths. Walk in reports are filed because they are great with paperwork...other than that....you shouldn't worry about them leaving their seats.

No

Sprained ankle likely...not serious...ice first 24 hours afterwards warm moist heat. You'll be good to go in 7 to 10 days. Stay off it as far as walking but joint movement and massage will help speed recovery. (This is from personal experience)

On a side note vehicle radiators are all black as it radiates more heat.
Maybe practice on a car first to avoid ruining a good helmet....????

Buy a cheap acoustic for practice and before you're ready to leave...give it to a local kid....the smile you'll get will be worth whatever you paid for it.

Are you working on commission ?

One might think that the website for any particular Thai university might state requirements:
for example:
https://www.chula.ac.th/en/academics/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/

You likely will be happier taking the BTS/MRT instead of GRAB for most journeys to beat the hellish traffic. Certainly there is a plethora of info on Bangkok tourism available..Thai wife would most like to see Temples ? and then maybe some wallet breaking shopping at opulent mega Mall ? Don't forget to take the river boats for the true experience.

Just the changes in temperature from blazing hot to sticky wet to cool season will make this a very bad idea. Not to mention keeping it in tune or rain and sun....are you sure you want to do this ?

I was in an accident when I was much younger where I struck a vehicle that had turned from a side street onto the main road where I was driving at legal speed. I believed at the time that I was not at fault. The policeman who showed up said that if I had struck the side of the turning vehicle, I would not be at fault. If the turning vehicle has completed their turn, and I strike them from the rear, my fault.
The same situation applies in the case here. If the OP struck the bike from the side, he would not be at fault. If the contact from the rear, the OP is in the wrong.
Please explain how this is incorrect if the driver had "swerved". Maybe the description from a UK driver's manual would clarify.
It really gets skectchy here. Just yesterday I was in the midst of making a left turn (slowly because of course there was a pickup double parked right at the corner of the soi I'm turning onto). A bike riding behind me figures "'what a great time to pass this slow farang driver and pull right in front of him while he is in the midst of his turn"...I could have easily hit him sideways or in the back if I was not aware via my side view mirror that he was doing something dangerous.....Thai roads are an obstacle course with the objective of making it home alive and not having killed anyone else.
