I did not look at the full data sheet but the graphic states this was done in Saudi Arabia, where the climate is typically very hot but also dry. I wonder if the same savings (or more) might be realized with an environment where the dewpoint temp is very high, such as Thailand. Interesting.....We have inverters in 3 rooms (about 3 years old) and I'm quite happy with their energy use profile, monthly bills are quite reasonable, in most months less than I was paying in a small condo with an older unit previously.

It provides you with a link to use after you have completed hotel contact...perhaps that's what to do ?

Sounded like some creepy guy shuffling around your house at night. The background sound is likely a combination or small tree frogs and insects

I recall having to use an ATM to 'activate' my Kasikorn card for online purchases, otherwise it would fail. One time thing

Can these Thai companies use their Morals; not the Morals dictated by Crist and the western authorities ?
This is not to be understated. Thai Buddhist principles are vastly different than Western Judeo/Christian ethics. It may not be immoral in some cases to do what is considered a 'wrong' if there is a belief that it leads to a greater good (making merit) in the future...or even more simply, Thai Buddhism allows one to make merit in this life to clean up all your messes.

I'd just be happy if they started stopping the motorcyles from driving the wrong way, especially during rush hours. I live off of Kanchanapisket road (Rt 9) ...and aside from the always on construction and traffic I have to deal with worrying about motos coming the wrong way everytime I am making a turn. These guys are absolutely reckless...I understand it has been a part of their daily routine for so long but at some point you have to draw the line somwhere. Same for using the shoulder as a regular roadway which eliminates it as a safety valve for cars who need to swerve to avoid an accident. Also stop them from driving on the line between two car lanes, incredibely dangerous and stupid. How about just getting them to follow the same laws cars are bound by ?

I have found different branches vary greatly in service levels. I live near the Central Westgate Mall where all the banks have a branch. The Bangkok Bank branch inside the mall is terrible, often hours long queues to get something done and seemingly nobody knows what they are actually doing. I often leave in frustration. Across the highway is a branch of the same Bangkok Bank. Before I'm even inside the security guy outside asks me what service I need, if it's a bank letter or statement he walks me upstairs, summons someone behind the desk and I'm taken care of almost immediately. It really depends on personnel in each branch. Try a different branch

Yes, people do live well on less than 65K a month, and possibly a lot less. With monthly rent as low as 5000+ per month, public trans and taxis - cheap, Thai street cart meals can be 30 to 40 baht, indulgences like the occasional massage, upscale restaurants, bars...make a number - maybe 35K a month without suffering.
Or we have made an investment where rent is not a current issue..of course amortized over time, a condo or house of course is an expense but made one time and rent expense drops out monthly and not need 65K to maintain nice lifestyle. Same with cars, etc....save for one time large purchases and then live on smaller monthly outlays.

The hotel I am trying to receive a refund for DAY 5 from is INTIMATE in Pattaya. They will not answer emails and when I phoned them from Canada they mumbled that NO REFUND. What am I to do?

Hotel said refund can be done when I check out from hotel on 06/Mar.
Sent my bank account details in email but hotel asking for my bank book 1st page for accurate bank information.
Seems genuine to me but not update from hotel since last week... ????
Apparently the hotels have hired Air Asia to manage refund processing...don't worry....any day now....

I will represent him in court...pin it on the Thai GF. With washboard abs like that, clearly he wasn't stealing carbs for his own consumption. Case closed, 3 high Wais to the Judge and 300 baht restitution to the baker and a modeling assignment for the accused.

This will work best at first as 'city' cars for shopping and local errands. Install charging port in your driveway and could work...but for long trips right now their utility is somewhat limited given the lack of charging infrastructure. I only use the car for local shopping and errands mainly...for me, if there were some financial incentives on purchase (rebate, etc) I could see my next car going EV.
