Taste of the Wild is made by Diamond Pet Foods.. They have a very poor record for QC and have many recalls in the past ... Most dog owners I know will not go near a Diamond product.

I would like to say a big thank you to Asinus who pointed me in the right direction, we are now the owners of a beautiful female Westie puppy ...

Everyone saying that this is just a loony blowing his mouth off should realise that this guy has been hanging around for days with the hardcore Reds at the Sala Daeng tyre barrier... I doubt very much if this his just his view, it is more likely that he lost his temper and let out the hardcore Reds plan without thinking... He should be locked up, for his own safety among other things.. However, i guess he is searching the net at the moment to see where in the world the next protest could turn ugly and will head there next.

The people at the top of these scams have so much money they don't need to be worried about being kicked out of Thailand...last time it happened only the 'innocent' call makers were deported while the big fish ened up being let off. Most farangs who have been here a while know who these people are.

I watched the programe when it aired and can say that there are no 'making Thailand look nice' scenes...the jet-ski scenes were definitely staged...and after reading the following anyone caught helping make this film are going to end up in some serious shit! It was TV making at it's worst ....
Police furious over 'staged' video nasties
Widely distributed video recordings of foreign tourists reputedly being ripped off over damage to jet skis on Phuket and other incidents have been made to damage Thailand's tourism reputation, authorities say.
The producers of the video clips - shown on British cable television and YouTube - and the victims of the alleged scams have denied the accusation.

Everyone just calm down. Let's not get all worked up over this.Normal for a thread like this, which is why I stopped posting here a while ago.
I suggest everyone watch the program first before getting excited. Althernatively, we welcome people who reside in Pattaya to come and speak to us face-to-face about what we do. We are more than happy to explain everything, but not on chat forums anymore.
Enjoy the show!!!

I took my dog to Thonglor Pet Hospital, the trainer spoke fluent english and did a good job..here is the website
In the past I have raised Thai Ridgeback dogs and owned many. My buddy, Cyclo an arrow Ridgeback is getting old and just wants to sleep - I'll give him that. But in order to guard my house (and me) I decided it was time for a new dog so I recently got a young female Ridgeback who is about 15 weeks old now. This young lady is super intelligent and I do not want her intelligence to go to waste with a dummy like me - therefore, I want to take her to school.
Does anyone know a good dog trainer, preferably that speaks English around the Laksi area. I do have a truck and can travel if necessary with her to go to classes. Since I am in the entertainment business, a dog trainer who trains movie/tv dogs would be great.
Appreciate any help

So Banks will be closed Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday???!!!
From BOT
"The Cabinet's Resolution on 17 February 2009 has declared 6 July 2009 to be
special public holiday.
Therefore, the Bank of Thailand (BOT) hereby announces that 6 July 2009 has
been set as a special additional holiday for financial institutions. The BOT considers that
the additional holiday, which is announced well ahead in advance, should not cause any
material adverse effects on financial transactions or economic activities."
Can anyone clarify??

Hi, Thanks. I was approximately 15meter away in an open backed jeep... You are right about the fur, it was being used for years by Tibetans for ceremonial costumes. But since the Dalai Lama instructed his people to stop the practice things have vastly improved. The Chinese are the main problem ..

I am looking to get the Giant size too...but Shamu Shamu are asking about 14,000 for it..
9,500 sounds like a good deal comparably... Is that from a chain of pet shops ? I would like one at that price!
Thanks Lesh and Neinke.Hi Lesh,
ref your: '...purchased two large Vari Kennels, Ultra Fashion models made in the USA by Petmate for 6299 baht each'.
What size did you buy please?
Petmate sizes from their site: http://www.dog.com/item/petmate-vari-kenne...et-crate-giant/
Sizes (outer dimensions):
Model 100- Small (21"L x 16"W x 15"H)
Model 200-Medium (27"L x 20"W x 19"H)
Model 300- Intermediate (32"L x 22"W x 23"H)
Model 400- Large (36"L x 24"W x 26"H)
Model 500- X-Large (40"L x 27"W x 30"H)
Model 700- Giant (48"L x 32"W x 35"H) (122x 813x 88.9cm)
I have large Rottweilers. Here in CMai I looked at the largest No.7, the minimum for a Rott. This IATA-approved Italian air-kennel costs ~9,500B here (possible 10% discount).
Clipper site www.marchioro.it
Clipper 7: 41" or 105cm L 30" or 75cm W 31" or 79cm H 9500B
If your size is the Petmate Model 700; then at the price B6299 you paid, I stand to save a lot as I have to buy several. Cheers.

There used to be a great pet shop called Shamu Shamu - I cut and pasted the following details from elsewhere on this forumAddress: 722/31 Charoenrath Road, Toongwatdorn, Sathorn, BKK 10120Fax: 02 22117788Phone: 02 2212 9172Email:
but I can't seem to find their website now - does anyone know if it's still going?
They are still open but their website is down, if you call them they will send you a catalogue with all their products. They have many kennels and they deliver free inside bangkok or charge for delivery outside.
here is the number.
