I am thinking of opening a small pizza shop up here in Issan area.

I have done some yahoo searches and found nothing.

Does anyone know of shops that sell ovens, pans, peels, etc for making pizzas?

If I can find enough customers I am sure the home oven I am using now will not be enough.

Any help is appreciated.

I am need of some urgent assistance with a business plan I have to complete by tomorrow (Thursday Lunch). I need someone with some accounting experience to give me a hand looking at the figures I have down on paper and also to develop an opening day balance sheet and 12 month projected balance sheet.

I am willing to pay someone over the normal rate to get this done urgently if someone is in Bangkok and can meet me to help…

a long line to wait and gossip in the Fish and Chip shop , Then ...Fish and Chips with scraps on ( dependant on the area scraps are , bits , scrapins , batters , scratchings , any more suggestions !!!!) Then masses of salt and vinegar ...slowly walk up the street with your mates as the grease and vingar leaks from the newspaper onto your parka jacket .. but what a taste ..and when you get home the smell still lingers on your fingers ( but that is another subject)

Well, Watch this space cos there is a new Chippy opening in Bangkok soon, Will be doing take aways too...the guy who is opening it has been trained by the British Federation of Fish Friers!!! Didnt know such a thing exsited.!!

He will also be doing all your English breakfast stuff too!!

Its going to be near Khao San Road in Banglampoo and he is planning on being up and running in about 6-8 weeks.

He will also be showing Comedy DVDs - The Office, Royale Family, Monty Python were some that were mentioned...

I will definately be going down there!!

I reckon I'd be a regular customer of his, location permitting of course. If you could find out an address and an approximate opening date that would be great.

I met a guy last week who is in the process of opening a Fish and Chip Shop here, he is apparently a member of some Fish Fryers Union in the UK. Says that it will do all the usual Chip Shop stuff along with Jacket Spuds and Breakfasts too... Sounds good..

Well, I am now a proud owner of a Fortuner 2.7 and i have to say that i am really pleased with it.

I do have one question though that the sale rep couldn't answer: What tyre presure should i chooses for optimum ride comfort..(mainly driving around bangkok and immediate area) The tyres say 34 (if i remember rightly)...the sticker on the door says 30 but the tyres came with about 40 in them. The ride is a bit harsh at the moment.

Anyone have any experience on this to save me playing around at different presures.

Does anyone have any experience using Amazon from Thailand? I am specifically looking to order a large batch of DVD’s (stuff not available over here) They are for my personal use and not for resale.

What I am wondering mainly is about customs charges etc…Will these likely be high?

You're getting the 3.0 DIESEL in only 4 weeks. Normal weight is 5-7 months unless you're out in the provinces. I love the car. It's true that the Diesel is a bit noisier when its cold but after a few minutes of running it quiets down quite a bit. Only complaint that I have is that it I thought the fuel efficiency would be better than it is(the reason we got the Diesel was because it was supposed to get higher kilometers per liter, though I've read recently that the sulphur content of Thai Diesel is 500 ppm which is quite high compared to European standards - but I don't know how important this is in terms of overall environmental impact).

No, I am getting the Petrol engine... I still think i am getting it pretty quick as the waiting list for petrols has jumped alot recently ( luckily i know someone at the showroom ) I am also getting 30,000 baht of extras... not sure if that is a good deal but sounds fine to me...

Now all i have to do is sell my old car!!

Just been reading this thread, i actually posted my Jeep for sale yesterday on the Classified forum. I have been the owner for the last 3 years and the previouse owner was a rich old Thai lady who had another 6 cars in her garage!!

The car has been excellent, i have had it seviced every 5000 km and have the full service history... And to correct previous posts..the Spare Parts are not expensive at all!!

Anyway, if you are still looking around just let me know... you are more than welcome to come see mine and have a drive around the block...

I really don't want to sell it but will probably be relocated pretty soon..
