  1. My English friends here would care.

    My g/f would care.

My friends in the UK would care.

My son - I don't give a sh!t if he cares - he is not getting my house.

Most of all, I would care.

If I dropped dead tonight, no more sex, no more rock n roll and no more beer, fun and the rest.

oh dear . A Thai gf has driven a codger against his own flesh and blood.

    Says who?

How do you reach that conclusion? What the hell do you THINK you know to slander someone you do not know and who is not even THAI??

    Sad, really.

  2. A certain hotel on Soi Arunothai is obviously having difficulties. Now it has no free wifi, stopped some foods and is often quite bereft of customers.

I noticed their swimming pool has been roped off (more like string than rope), with notices up saying the pool is out of order. It has been this way a little while now. The pool has not been drained. The water is beginning to discolour too.

Being alongside where people sit and they serve food and where people go on a weekend to watch football, surely this is a health hazard in the making?

It is so hot. The rainy season is upon us. Mozzies are going to love this pool as the water stagnates. Surely the mozzie population will explode in that area?

Careful not to name said hotel for obvious reasons whistling.gif

    This is it ^^

As small as a packet of ciggies. Very thin.

I carry it with me on the m/c and it never loses the signal. That way I can carry on with wifi or read messages on LINE thast have been sent as I am travelling. Check football live scores and such.

It does automatically go into stand by mode when it is not receiving data. (I wondered why I was losing connection at times when in a static location). Saves battery power. I ran the unit with a full charge for 7 hours.

Small on / off switch on the right side of the green LEDs. Three LEDs (signal strength, wifi on, battery). Battery indicator flashes green on good charge and changes to red when very low.

    Security Type WPA2 PSK

    Radio type 802.11n

    Signal strength excellent.

    Hope this also helps.

I am happy with the unit myself, though it will not suit everyone.

I try to go for quality and quantity with the same woman without having to spray sow my wild oats everywhere.

Less women but loads of great sex with those I do have alt=biggrin.png>

No. I don't vote in public polls alt=thumbsup.gif>

Most experienced expats would tell you never date the same woman more than three times. alt=thumbsup.gif>

After that, it is learning all those little things that make sex into great lovemaking w00t.gif

  6. I have just bought an AIS 3G pocket wifi.

A little over 2,000 Baht + 450 Baht for 1G d/l unlimnited for 1 month. Better packages available but I only do e-mail and forum type stuff inn Thailand.

10 metre range from the unit. Alleged 4 hour + battery life. Recharge from the computer or via a charger (extra to buy).

It allows me to connect to the internet on my phone or computer if the stand alone unit is within the 10 metres, anywhere in Thailand. Size of a small mobile phone.

I like this small unit. In Thailand now about 8 months a year. No connection fees. No need to pay 1 year for a contract that will lay idle when I am in the UK and still have to be paid for.

This will not suit everyone, but suits my Thai needs. If I need faster, I can purchase a faster sim card.

Part of my reason for going this route is my condo wants 2,500 just to allow me to install internet with the likes of TOT.

Yes, it works fine. I'll test it around and about as I am on the move and get back on the results.

Anyone else got one? How is it for you?

  7. I am floored to learn that Better Call Saul, as of the end of episode 10, which I just watched last night, is done for the season. The pace has been leisurely, to be sure. Guess I'll binge watch all 10 again and see what subtle touches I missed on first viewing.

Sad to see Justified ending. I hope Boyd gets to get away clean with Ava.

When is Ray Donovan coming back?

The first episode of the latest Mad Men was very well done. What an epic that has been.

Shush. Justified. No bits of info please. Not watched any of the last series yet smile.png
