Hi,
You need signed copies of
* Passport main page bio data
* 90 days O visa and previous Visa if any
* Last entry stamp
* TM 6 if any
* Bankbook showing required money with required history ( depends on your option 800K or 65 K/ month or mix)
* Tabien baan or rental contract with signed ID copy of landlord or DBD if purchase via a company
* If owner they ask for for title deed aka chanot
* They can ask for TM 30 copy
*. Hand made drawing of your home location( depends on IO)
Need to have original doc*
* Filled TM 86 form
* Bankbook
* Passport
* Letter from the bank stating your account balance day of Io visit
* Chanot or DBD
* Photos 4x6
And a little contribution of 1900 thb for the Immigration good Samaritan foundation ????????
It's supposingly it. Nevertheless depending on IO you visit they can have invented any other requirements.
Best to do it 30 days before your 90 days visa expiry date. 12 month extension starts the day of expiry of your original visa regardless the date of extension application.
Good luck and take care

Hi everybody,
I know there is no more marine department office in Bali Hai Pattaya for boat registration. I think they are now based in Laem Chabang but where?
Could somebody give me the address and road direction or GPS coordinates to go there?

When you observe a bit the way it was done, you don t have to be an engineer to predict that the combination of heavy rains and sea effect will erode the new beach very quickly. The base has not been fixed correctly and there is nothing built up to brake the waves. So in a few years the beach will be back to its starting configuration e.i almost a little piece of sand behind the walls

I went on August 8th with my wife ( European) to Ban Pakkard border check from Sattahip. The purpose was to get out of thailand to cancel our O A visa we wanted to change for a O one for obvious reasons. We took the same road and experienced the same heavy rains and heavy traffic conditions and surely the same very dangerous road section about 40 km before reaching the border. As you said, I confirm this border point is nicely organized and very quiet. Easy parking and plenty of stores. I think we met the same lady at the Thai counter where she proposed us a full service for 2700 thb including the Cambodian visa cost.Contrarily to you who had to work and walk,, and luckily for us, she took our passports, filled the TM 6 form herself( we just had to sign) and we stayed relaxing on a chair time for them to manage everything on the Cambodian side where we never put a single foot. After 15/ 20 mn, she was back with our passports containing the Cambodian visa, came with us back to the Thai immigration counter where we got our visa exempt stamp. Done deal smoothly, effortlessly and with nice smile.
Two days after we went to our local immigration office to apply for the O visa. We had completed with great care the whole files requested in 2 exemplars. All was done there in less than an hour. They kept our passports and said it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get the visa for 3 months, to be extended to a 1 year one. 12 days later we got a SMS message on our phone to go and pick up our passports. We got our 3 month new visa and will process the extension soon, no earlier than 30 days before expiration date.
So it was worth the long trip and hope everybody doing the same will get the same efficient process at a very fair service price.

I wish Thailand would be like Mexico. No visa needed for 90 days.
It would be nice to have this in Thailand as my Spanish is terrible.
your Spanish is maybe terrible but Thai English is even more terrible. So in theory you cannot leave in both countries with your wonderful mother tong....???? Cuidate hombre.... ( nine years in Argentina for me)
