Although we all know the 90 day report is 100% useless, asking the question of eliminating it to the concerned people will bring you a predictable YES from everybody. Unfortunately we have 0 power to make them change it unless, one day, maybe, perhaps they realize it creates more problems (work) than benefits.
We can always complain about immigration. By experience of living in some other exotic countries, the RTI is not the worse by far..... also not the best either by far........

look at the way it is reported. It's self speaking about mentality here .
"Officers from Bang Phlat Police Station believed the car was going at high speed when it began to lose control due to the wet road surface following rain, resulting in the car hitting an electric post. "
bloody car, bloody rain, bloody road, bloody pole.......................... THE CAR was speeding, THE CAR began to loose control and THE CAR hit the pole.............obviously the expert driver behind the wheel had absolutely no responsibility at all !!!!!!!! this lack if responsibility applies also to the 3 passengers without seat belts.................. BLOODY NASTY CAR
Please give me the car model (if recognizable)so I would never ever buy this kind od irresponsible vehicule.............

Hi
It's amazing to see that people in general ( even more disguished in generals) can accept the fact that there is a pandemic (and we do face one) but do not accept a high number of deaths related to it. It has been like this for centuries.... Did the politicians manage well the pandemic or not is not only a question of daily count of dead people. All these numbers, everywhere are biaized by several indirect factors. ex: if I am a 80 yo obese with cardiac conditions, hi blood pressure smoker and I get the COVID and die. Did I die from Covid or from my pre-conditions helped by the COVID. Would I have died un sux months time without Covid ????? Am I a real Covid victim ??? debatable......
The only interesting numbers will be the additional deaths by country year 2020 vs average 2018/19. This will show the truth and how bad was the Chinese virus.
For me, the only point to judge the effectiveness or not of a government will be the way they manage the economic nuclear bomb they have created in their respective countries. And I'm affraid Thailand will not be in the top 10 looking at the structure of its economy.
all the rest is media circus and hype.

Looking at this plan and supposing I got it right (not obvious), they forgot an important thing. There are very few gas stations inside the perimeter. Most of them are on Suk. I can already see the queues on Nua, Tephrasit and Thai where the inside stations are located !!!!!!

Mr Anutin,
One lesson you should keep in mind after this speech:
* When you feel stressed, keep your mouth shut.
* When you relax apply same principle
Thank you

Dear Mr Pierre Jean ( Peter John in french)
If you do really exist, please go back to France where face masks and gel are even less available than Thailand, where your unbelievely good government did not see anything coming, where local elections are proceeded while the day after your very exeptional President giving lessons to the entire world announced a lock up of the country and where cops in the street are requested not to wear the minimun protection (masks and gloves) while policing the political decisions, where some sick people are transfered by the army from Mulhouse to Toulon hospitals because the local system is overhelmed by the number of very serious health conditions including young "healthy" people. etc.... etc....
If you do really exist, please go back there and please make sure that everything is implemented and respected (including by yourself) regarding your good principles. I'm not saying they are wrong but I'm fed up with this "I know everything" attitude.
By the way I'm french living here in Thailand and I have the same concerns than most of the people with a bit of brain in this very very disturbing period. Good luck to you "mate"

FYI coming to thailand with an argentinian passport, I am always asked to provide immigration with a valid yellow fever certificate even if I come with a Paris or London flight. Maybe not lucky but but I don't take the risk of being unable to enter the country.
By the way yellow fever vaccination is valid for life.

Let's put things into a broader perspective. All over the world people are glued to their smart phones and do not talk to eachother. This is visible in the streets, in the stores, in restaurants..everywhere and of course Thailand is part of this "new"world. I don't go to bars but can easily imagine this situation is also noticeable there.
As far as Thailand experience is concerned, not only the bars, Internet did not ruin anything, the people did with their greed, their attitude and complete lack of care did ruin themselves. The only change is that Internet speeds and shares the previously hidden informations with every single connected fella which was not the case before Internet era except the big events related by international press.
Is this fun?? I don't think so and feel sorry for for the couple dining next table yesterday night and didn't exchange any word but were going crazy with their respective phones.
If the wi fi connexion is down somewhere, don't forget to talk to each others.
