  1. Don,

If you come out of the Am Consulate in CM, go across the street, go left a bit passed the fire station, and there is a fruit and veggie market there that i have bought from. Seasonal, i think.

  2. Let's say you start at Chiang Mai Gate (Pratu Chiangmai), about hundred meter from Rico's.

From here you could (and still can of course) take the old road to Chiang Mai.

From Pratu Chiangmai to Den Ha this road is called the Rayotha Road.

What town are u in Limbo? Have another :)

    Sorry, maybe called that?

    PS: Dear lovelomsak,

Do you know where the money came from and where it is now?

Can you tell us a little bit more about what happened?

It must have been extremely exciting, wasn't it?

Limbo you should get out of the house more get in touch with reality. Or does your mother keep you home to protect you from yourself

Your walking on dangerous ground Lomsak, go back there :)

  5. Dear cmjantje,

A member of this forum with the nick cmjantje (what a coincidence) opened a similar

    thread last month.

Maybe you could pm him and ask him if he made progress since then.

    Here is the link:

    Good luck!

    Limbo :)

That is what I thought also :D I looked for it with "shoe" But no result.

    I think Alzheimer...

BTW do you know the first name of Alzheimer? (don't google)

Why in buhdas name would you want some expensive Italian shoes, or from ? , when you can get some holy sandals here that are confortable, and last forever for less than 200BHT?

  6. Looks like you have enough links from limbo. So call into Ric's bar near the Condohotel(its the only condo block in Chiang Rai).Good selection of food, cheap beers and Farangs..No not cheap farangs but expats who have been here a long time. All the best Dave

There is another one over by the sports stadium. :)

  7. Many people including myself are in general satisfied with the services of the Indian gentleman with the nickname 'the turban'.

Also his staff is fluent in English and really knows how to find alternatives, special offers, the best possible connections, etc etc.

Very helpfull, both he and his staff.

It is rumoured though that these two are the most helpfull people out of the total of three 555!

    Where?

Let's say you had this healthy kind of buffet at the Hotpot inside Api Square.

You go out, just cross the street, go twenty meters to the right and then, ten meters

around the corner to the left it is.

I think he was the first travel agent of Chiang Rai and remained the only one for many years.

So he knows which button to push.

    Limbo :)

Think the name of the place is P&P Travel-used many times.

  8. 10,000 baht for shoes-wow that would last me at least 20 years. The most expensive store here is probably Edisons, but dont know if they have shoes that paeng. :)
