Old age pensions of the World

What about Thailand ? 😀 Interested to know how much my wife will get, with a career spanning 10 years. -
Thanks for the all the replies but I got funds returned all ready, same day. The reason given is that the name did not match the Account Number. I was given options to either cancel and get a refund or updated the recipient bank account details. Good to know in future in case this happens do anyone else transferring funds to Thailand using Wise and the account details are incorrect.

I transferred some money via wise to a Thai Bank Account today. The person (Recipient), made a mistake and provided me with the incorrect account number. What will happen to the transfer, will the bank process the transaction if the bank number exist but the account name does not match ? or will the funds be returned back to wise ?

You can also request for a re-entry stamp from the agency, same time when applying for the extension, you will get the re-entry & extension stamps stamped in your passport. You will pay for the extension and the re-entry when applying for the extension. That way if you have to leave Thailand for an emergency, during the period of your extension, you don't need to worry about applying for a re-entry.

The 12 month deposit method will be for the next extension, year 2024. Immigration can check my bank statements for the deposits from October 2023 to October 2024. I will use an agency again for this year. So my question is can I transfer using Wise and do it myself for next year without leaving the country ?
-
Both questions are No, I plan to have 12 months deposits transferred each month as proof for the next extension. I am looking at obtaining another Retirement non-O extension but based on the 12 month deposits and not using an agency for next year, as I want to avoid agency fees each year. Can this be done without leaving Thailand ?
-
Yes, I will use Agency an again this time, and will use the 12 months of monthly of deposits for the next extension, to avoid the agency fees each year. If Wise is not an issue with the proof of transfers, can I do it myself for the next extension, without leaving the country to obtain another visa. I am currently, on Retirement non-O extension, expires End of October 2023. Thanks

I am looking at applying for the Retirement Visa-O visa (Currently living in Thailand). I will use the 65,000 a month Income for 12 months, my monthly income will be paid into Thailand via Wise account. Is this an issue ? does the monthly transfers need to show that the income transfer came from an actual overseas bank account ?

I am looking at renting a condo in the Jomtien area in about 5 months time. Looking at size about 30 sqm, just for myself, budget between 6,000 to 8,000 per month. Any recommendations for a nice condo in the Jomtien area, ideally with a nice view. Thanks

Anyone know where you can get a Vaccine Shot in Pattaya ? I previously went to BPH for my previous 2 x booster shots but they have no more Moderna available now. Thanks

For a full Health Check-up, any private hospitals can do this, you pay for the tests and for Doctors consulation, prices vary depending on the Hospital. If you just want basic blood tests, I often go to a clinic, I pay about 250 baht, anything not abnormal on the report, I then book appointment to see a doctor. Any pre-existing conditions, yes, will need to declare them with Pacific Cross, cover will not include pre-existing conditions, so that is something to think about.

Congratulations on your retirement. Regarding Health Insurance, I am with Pacific Cross, can renew up-to 99 years old. You can check the prices for your age, might be expensive, or like others have said, self insure. https://www.pacificcrosshealth.com/en/health-insurance/
