The video is a red herring. It makes no difference to me that their arms/hands touched while she was trying to retrieve the mike. What bothered me that Acosta was resisting her and speaking out of turn. He was forcing his way on the meeting and behaving in a way that was beneath his level of privilege.
Maybe that was because he was not getting any straight answers from the buffoon.

If you are a persistent liar you must expect to be called out about it. It doesn't help to call him names. Just makes the orange man look the buffoon that he is.

Obviously they need to redefine the rules for the press corp since they no longer have any respect. It should be similar to a court of law, where someone like Acosta could be shown to be in contempt. No legal charges for what he did, but removal and bans should be available.
Then the same respect should be shown by those providing the information. That is they should tell the truth and not attack the press corps in attendance by insulting them and calling them the enemy of the people, etc. It works both ways.

Trump is steadily isolating the US. By not attending Asian nations summit, Asian nations realise that they can no longer rely on the US for support. His actions have already started a trade war which can only get worse. In Europe he persists on insulting the European leaders and their countries and now they, also, see that they cannot rely on the US and are looking for a European Army without the US. They are also saying that yes they can wait out Trump for the next two years but with the corrupt undemocratic electoral system in the US what will prevent another "Trump" replacing him. So now they are looking out for themselves. The American empire is disintegrating so where is his "make America great again". He is doing the exact opposite.
Please America, get rid of that buffoon before he does any more damage to the US. Do it soon, because he is now in a big sulk because he is finding out that nobody loves him, at least nobody of any importance, and he is lashing out at everyone including those staff who are still loyal to him.

Go back with your children with enough money to rent a house for a couple months (cash). Then go to the benefits people. No job no income. This way you won't be on the streets.
If he has not paid National Insurance over the previous 6 months prior to reentry then he is not entitled to any Benefits

Cheapest option is YHA then apply to the local council for emergency housing. The kids should get you a high priority on their housing list. However, don t expect very much help. I returned after 20 years away and was told that as I had not paid national insurance over the previous 6 months that I was not entitled to any help despite that I had always paid my taxes prior to leaving and served in the armed forces and never before asked for help. They were unmoved and I spent 6 months living in a caravan and paying National Insurance before they would give me anything. Not even unemployment benefit. Yet had I been a refugee I would have received masses of help. Britain does not really care for its own citizens.

Some on amazon do deliver to Thailand others don't. I use Ebay a lot it works good. In Thailand you got lazada it works ok too.
Be careful ordering electrical goods on Amazon because you don't know where the supplier is located. If they are in the US you are likely to get 110v stuff and not 240v as needed here. This has happened to me in the past.

Bro, you need to go back to school and learn some English if you don't know what peeps are....????????????
According to the dictionary it is slang and means friends or acquaintances. firstly why should he learn slang at school? They should be teaching correct English. Secondly, I do not believe that you have so many friends and acquaintances as to cause a problem at immigration.

Thanks for your comments. Of course I keep immediate needs close to me, not to as you say is stupid. I am speaking about 7 month supplies way to much for hand luggage. Can be replaced expensively yes but never had a problem so far.
You are not permitted to bring more than one months supply of medication into Thailand. So you are breaking the law from the outset.

Totally agree (actually it was 2.8%, so it’s only 1400b) suck it up and make the sale, i even offered to meet them half way. There’s still plenty of meat on the bone to make some profit.
Yes, they don’t pressure me to use a card, but getting me to walk across the bank to draw out the maximum daily allowance then scratching around to find another 1500b is hardly encouraging customers to spend money is it?
Sent from my iPad using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile appWhy mess around with cards. Take the dealer's bank details and do a Bank transfer then print of a copy of the Transfer Slip to prove payment. I do this all the time for larger purchases whether it be mc or household furniture etc. It is quick easy and reliable.

Shame that the billions of baht creamed off by the military isn't actually spent on equipment designed to save those facing the most risk.
You are so right. Can you imagine British Paras patroling in Belfast on motorcycles during the "troubles". It's just asking to be killed. Plain suicide

Kill somebody over oil smuggling ? The cop should not have fired, unless somebody's life was in danger. He needs to be properly trained as a peace officer first, before he even handles a gun. Reckless, but expected in modern day Thailand.
The Thai police are just emulating the Gun Happy US Police so what is wrong.

I do everything I can to keep these beasties away. The young immature ones are ok but when they reach maturity and search for a mate they make a dreadful noise all night so you have little chance to sleep. Their mating call sounds a lot like F.... I’ve tried it and the moth balls neither is 100%. In the end we decided to live with it. They don’t seem to like the cat though I have found and in the rooms he is allowed in a significant decrease in lizard <deleted> has been noticed. They do eat the mozies and spiders though which is a plus
I agree they are very efficient in keeping the bugs down and indeed are very welcome when the flying ants come down. The skill is in keeping the gecko levels down to a reasonable level so you don't get a lot of mess on your walls. This is where the cats come in, I have two, They catch and eat the house geckos so I have created an eco balance. I have enough geckos to keep the bugs down and two cats to keep the geckos down. Works perfect for me.

A simple question and i know all the pro's and cons of gun rights and ownership in the US. I know this is a very sensitive subject for a lot of people with opinions on both sides.
How does a person with previous mental illness issues get 2 guns? That's the issue.
I think any reasonable person in the US that believes in the right to bear arms would have no issue with a background check being done to show that he or she is fit to carry around a weapon. I think this is done in most US States already but we keep coming back to the same problems again and again.
I am from the UK where gun ownership is a difficult process. I know i have owned guns in the past. In the UK right now the biggest issue is knife crimes and stabbings. You cant have a permit issued for every kitchen knife can you? Criminals and idiots always find a way. We still have shootings in the UK as well.
The issue is never the weapon or which type of weapon it actually is. It's always the idiot holding it or behind it.. I know one thing for sure about me. If someone entered my property with the intent of hurting my family or stealing my possessions i would have no issue with blowing his head clean off.
But then you wouldn't take two of your guns to a digital gaming competition. That is the difference. You would use your gun for protection not for vengence. The question then is How to tell the difference.

3. Bacteria grow best in warm temperatures, approximately 25°C – 40°C. In general, fridges set at 3°C or 4°C will ensure that the food is between 0°C and 5°C.
If cooked food is not stored above 63°C, it should be used up within two hours of cooking or should be cooled as quickly as possible and put in the fridge within 2 hours.
I broke 4 teeth in Thailand because the cook did not tell me there were bones and shells in my food.
Last month, six persons were reported to have food poisoning following consumption of marinated raw crabs. The Centre for Food Safety (CFS) reminds the public that consuming raw or undercooked crabs increases the risk of developing foodborne illnesses
When a person consumes raw or undercooked crabs infected with lung fluke, the parasite may migrate from the intestines to the lung causing paragonimiasis. The initial signs and symptoms may be diarrhoea and abdominal pain. This may be followed several days later by fever, chest pain, fatigue, and sometimes coughing up blood. Sometimes the fluke can travel to the brain where it can cause symptoms of meningitis. Onset of symptoms of lung fluke infection usually occurs many weeks after exposure and the disease may last for many years.Sounds like the farang should be attending the clinic in order to learn Thai culture and the perils of living in Thailand

Are these clinic staff going to be Thai and if so who is going to teach them about foreign cultures and languages?
Or will there be job opportunities for the local Farang population? After all these girls are going to have to learn things like how to make a decent cup of tea and a full English And/or American breakfast.
Surely it will include how to teach your farang how to enjoy a full Thai breakfast or is it more acceptable to permit the farang to continue imposing his culture over the Thai culture. Why should Thai women continually have to subjugate themselves to farang culture?

You always had a strange attitude towards your wife. Continually bragging about how you lived free of charge at her expense. I am not at all surprised she doesn't want to follow you anywhere to get more of the same. She is more likely happy to see you gone. It also gives her an open opportunity to find a real man

I sincerely hope you are wrong and that the US population is more intelligent and aware of the destruction that this orange buffoon is doing to US credibility. What he has done by criticizing US allies and by praising US enemies and even treacherously siding with them against his own security agencies. He has already done more damage to US credibility around the world than any previous POTUS. He brags about being a deal maker and putting America first. So far he has not completed a single deal and as far as putting America first he is making old traditional US allies to want to ostracize the US.

I feel for you. Men sometimes are their own worst enemy. It sounds to me like you are in denial. I would say the wife is no good just a problem. But love is blind huh
If you want to stay together with her here is what i would do.
Let her know since sex is finished together you want a live in mia noi. The wife will become the housemaid. Clean house do laundry take care of children and such. You will sleep with mia noi.
Give her a set budget to live on for food etc. And tell her you will take care of yourself if what she cooks is not to your liking. Or you and mia noi will eat separate
You will do as you please and she will do as she pleases but her budget will drop considerably.
If she does not like that leave her get another from the village to care for the children and you.
This is a crass idea here in Thailand. How long do you think the wife would put up with that type of existence. I would suggest that it is a recipe for an early death or a short life expectancy.

When DT mentioned the pact, the pound and UK markets surged.
This is pure Hogwash. The Brexit result was announced on a Friday and by Monday the Pound had already fallen by 11% and has continued falling ever since. There has not been any surge in the value of the pound although its fall may have slowed a little at times. It has now fallen by more than 20%
