I think he knows that Colin...

I would say as above, stop paying completely. It will be hard on the kids but she will change her tune pretty damn quick when the cash runs out.

    Take control of the situation...

Should be really careful here as she may just go out and get a large loan which he would be also liable for.

It may be an option to get a Legal Separation to cut all financial ties. I did this with my Chinese ex. She wasn't at all happy when she discovered that she was responsible for all her the debts after the separation. Because of her intransigence it took me 5 years to get the divorce finalised. Really glad I got the separation legalised early after I left the marital home

Phooey. Soros made a billion dollars in a day when he broke the Bank of England in 1992.  Now he is trying to keep us in an EU a majority have voted to leave. For the Remainers to take this man's money is far more despicable than the technical breach of the rules by the Leave camp.

Phooy on yourself. You expect remainers to accept the referendum vote which was marginal being won by a margin of only 2.9 % which statistically is well within the margins of error. This was with Brexit campaigners cheating and breaking the rules to gain an advantage. And who funded the Brexit campaign? Sir you have no morals!

But it's perfectly OK for a Hungarian-American billionaire investor to pour 400 million dollars into the ongoing campaign to undermine the Brexit referendum decision?

    Beam me up, Scottie.

You are Trolling. It is not who gives funds or how much is given to a campaign. It is how that organisartion uses and disposes of those funds.

In this case Leave EU broke the rules and got fined and have now been reported to the Police by the Electoral Commission for illegal activity. What they did is tantamount to cheating.

Indeed, I've just completed this form myself for my latest income confirmation letter application and inserted my phone number here.

I've left "Relation To Applicant" blank since I'll be paying with my own credit card. I would imagine that you only need to complete this field if you're using someone else's card (as evident from the "Name On Card" entry).

    You are absolutely correct.

The payee is the person making the payment not the person receiving the payment. Therfore of course you enter your own phone number.

As you have stated the relation to applicant is only necessary if you do not use your own card for payment.

The form is in correct english and quite clear in my opinion.

    masters degree...? wow

    trilingual...? wooow!!

Why do you sound so incredulous? Not all farang hang out with uneducated bar girls. My wife also is trilingual and has a Masters dergree which enables her to hold and sustain a good job as PA to the CEO. I think you need to look on a higher shelf for your women. You might be surprised what you can find there.

Sometimes the truth in Thailand, is not welcome.

Its a bit difficult when there is no alternative. I recently tried to buy a weedkiller to keep my driveway weed free. I was only offered Paraquat. I knew about Paraquat which is banned in all EU countries because of its health risks to all animals (incl. Dogs, Cats as well as humans). I told the guy no. I wanted a systemic herbicide like Roundup. He had never heard of this and persisted to push Paraquat on me. No way would i accept it. Solved the problem on a short trip home and bought two litres of concentrated Roundup to bring back

The wife and her friend, went around the Mooban, just the other day,

shaking the Red ant nests,(not his ants), and got nearly a couple of

Kgs of the eggs, they are quite expensive in the market, anything that

saves me money ,I'm in,but would not eat them myself, they are very

sour from the acid they spray out.

    regards worgeordie

I have 3 such nests in my mango trees but dont tell your wife. My wife prepares the eggs in some kind of omelette. Very tastey.

I have a problem with the ants though. Any plants under the nests seem to die. I am assuming it is the acid they spray out that is culprit.

please let smutcakes answer (if he wants to), he understood.

It strikes me you and others are confusing several things::

1 Car Warantee (usually about 5 years) where faulty parts and work to replace them is covered.

    2. Honda Leasing is a Finance company which offers :

         a. Financing of your purchase - Hire Purchase if you like. This is where you buy the car by borrowing from the Leasing Company. Therefore you are responsible for all maintenance costs.

         b. Leasing a car through the Leasing Company. The Leasing company owns the car and is responsible for all maintenance (sometimes includes car insurance) therefore Leasing company pays for all maintenance. You pay for fuel only

I don't think it's refundable, but it only costs around 1,200 THB. Get the insurance and you'll probably get your Schengen visa without much issues.

Whether it is refundable or not depends on the insurance company you use. Somed will refund some will not. You need to read their terms and conditions

Thailand is South East Asian. All part of /bad education . most Thai people look down on Thai woman with a Western man , I find being called falling/foriener racist.

I am sorry if you are offended by the word Farang but I find it a useful word to use sometimes and it really is no more rasist than you saying "All Asians".

But to get back to your statement; I would suggest that Thai women are equally looked down upon in Farangland and are mostly considered to be Immoral Bargirls (prostitutes).  So if this is part of bad education here, as you say, then it follows that it is eqaully part of bad education in Farangland. Nothing to do with SE Asia but to do with bad education

I'd say there is prejudice against mixed marriages and prejudice towards mixed marriages. That's been my experience anyway

I agree with you. My wife is not and has never been a Bargirl but she feels it whenever we travel to Bangkok to arrange a visa for a trip to Europe. We stay overnight in a Hotel in Sukumvit where she is stared at by people who assume she is a Bargirl. She doesnt drink and has never been in a Bar. Even where we live in Isaan she was once asked when she is going back to Pataya by a waitress in a restuarant we went to. Needless to say we never went back there. My wife has only ever been to Pataya once and that was on a two day business conference with her company and I went with her. Even a Tuk tuk driver asked her to be his Mia Noi when I went away. Bloody rude. But as others have said many acquaintances have approached her and asked how they can also find a Farang and can she help them find one.

Just so you know, the US has enough of it's oil and even export some out,

beside, the UN is a dinosaur that it's time and relevancy has passed,

if they want the 500 million dollars the US contribute every year, don't

vote against them, as they say, the man with the money is the man

with the powers, ask any billionaire....

When and if the US pays them. They are consistently behind on their payments

Maybe China should stop claim to thing they neither rule, own nor control.

Well maybe they will do the same as they did to Tibet. Take it back by force while the world watches on. China is in expansion mode as seen by their taking over the South China Sea. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they did..

However, salient point here, the update machine only allows for a maximum of 30 entries in a 30 day period OR updates going back 30 days even if less than 30 entries, so if like us you updated in May '17 and then did it again in February '18 the day before going to Chang Wattana you'll get a shock.

Why don't you use internet banking? I do. Then it is easy. Just go online and print off a statement for the period that you need. My Immigration Office has always accepted these statements

Why should we waste money defending our so-called friends when all of them, with the exception of a couple of East European countries, fail to meet the NATO target of 2% of GDP spent on defence.

May is in dreamland if she expects the Germans to give us a reasonable deal.

Your post is very misleading. I know of no country that is breaking the 2% rule as this does not come into effect for several years and btw Britain is also currently not investing 2% GDP on defense. Secondly what has NATO got to do with anything. NATO is not there to defend "our so-called freinds" but to defend ourselves with the assistance of other member countries.

    You need to get real.
