    So they are charging the dead guy , and charging the police officer with killing in self defence. Is this a translation thing , or are there actual laws that they must follow following an incident like this ?

    I would be pretty pi55ed off if I was the BMW driver. I buy the premium insurance in case I am the one who causes an accident , not to pay again to fix my vehicle if somebody runs into it.

    My automatic has a "sport " option , which means you can go from automatic to semi automatic. In semi automatic you can change gear when you want , which I use quite often as the engine braking is good for driving with out having to brake all the time.

    Why do they need to use line or staple it to a childs shirt. If the parent comes to collect their child , couldn't the teacher inform them face to face ?

    Been here so long , that reports like this do not surprise or bother me. The only thing that does bother me is , if one of these stupid people falls off their bikes and gets run over or runs into a vehicle , then the vehicle driver is held accountable. Not neccessary by law , but by the parents and police who think there should be some financial compensation.

    Isn't the vehicle owner responsible for paying the ticket ? I thought that is how it worked in Thailand.

    I'm in the same boat . Numerous complaints to the Post Office , They just blame the postman , who by the way has another primary job , and the postman job is his part time job.
