Mine believes if you talk to half of the people in our village , get numbers off people on Tik Tok and spend 30 mins on the phone with her Sister who lives in Sattahip discussing the lottery , she will win. Happens Twice a month every month ( talking that is , not winning ). She is also a believer in that time of month , you cannot go to a funeral / wedding ( or something like that ). Bad eye , cannot eat pork , bad something or other cannot eat certain foods. Feet cannot point towards her Buddha statues in the house. She also got upset after a priest at out local temple told her that after Seven years I would leave her . ( 25 years ago ).

Usually an incident like this , is a lesson learned.. Safety bulletins and memos go out to contractors , explaining what could happen if blah blah blah. But no , I'm afraid it will happen again somewhere else.

I also get this , so how do the pick ups with the belching black smoke go faster exhausts pass ?

My friend died last night from an ongoing battle with cancer. He has had laser treatment etc. He is an Englishman who has lived near Ubon Ratchathani for 10 years and married to a Thai lady. She plans on cremation Monday but as of yet she has no death certificate , and she has just telephoned and asked what the procedure is for informing Embassy , Police etc. She has spoke to her husbands daughter in England who has been aware of her fathers battle , and only requires a Death Certificate for personal reasons. Can anybody enlighten me as to what I can tell her.

But it doesn't make it right , legal or safe.

I fell for that trying to get a rush delivery through . There is no promise of a next day delivery , it just arrives in Bangkok the next day.

Why didn't they "impound " the rider as well. What are the consequences of a hired motorcycle getting impounded . Will the person who hired it be liable for every day it is locked up ? I hope the shop has some sort of guarantee , though I doubt it . Hope the pick up owner gets compensated , doubt that either.

Start by taking the obsolete ones down , and all new ones underground.

I don't need a storm to lose power. I have logged my power cuts this year. Not talking about the blips that occur , from January 1st until the back end of July , there have been 14 power cuts ranging from 30mins up to 4 hours. Blue or Dark sky , rain or no rain , they still happen.
