There's a gym, on the right hand side of the ring road, coming from the traffic lights, direction Chaweng. Kinda opposite the new shopping mall being build on the ring road.
I was in samui for 20 days and the only intersting gym i saw was "World Gym" it wasn't too big but packed with equipments with few pro looking bodybuilders
in there, i used to be bodybuilders myself and can say they weren't storoid free bodies, anyway i liked that gym atomspher
Can you remember how much the fee was?
Also are there runningmachines and steppers?
Thanks very much
I don't know, i never asked, but from my experiance shouldn't be more than 1800Bhat maximum
that what luxery gyms like california waoo and fitness first used to charge charge if pay for 6 months, hardcore BB gyms like gold or world gyms should be charging less than them
If you pay three months in advance it should get down to 1500 bhat easily

Buy a washing machine?
However, there is a self service in Ban tai village now, open sporadically as near as I can tell
In samui it's 30bhat/kg everywhere, why phangan more? i thought living in phangan is cheaper
In samui as toursit staying even few month, one using machine is waste of time

Flying for first time to samui or krabi on sunday for 2-3 weeks stay to do my diving course there and are there any large public swiming pool?
Looking for tips on right place to stay 500bhat , may be main town or not too far from tourist district, i'll be using motorbike
SORRY I just realized this was from last year.
Hope U had a good trip.
Yes, samui was fantastic, Can some one tell more about krabi? never been there
here is my breif report from samui
------------------------------------------
I got an earlier flight to samui at Don manage airport, so decided not to wait for next 5 hours flight to krabi, actually this is how i end up going to samui
unfortunately had minor accident that had to bandage my arm and knee for 10 days from bike slipping in a rainy day, however I managed to finish my "open water" course (total 4 days) 4 boat dive at sail rock with first day 15-20 meters and second day unfortunately 10 meters visibility only, weather condition sucked for fun diving
I have been to phuket for total 4 months and i can say samui is nicer place for me to live.
Plenty of places from 800 Bhat to 500 Bhat a day, with auto motorcycle for 200 bhat a day down to 125 bhat/monthly. You need one to see this really large island with nearly 400k people living there, still can find plenty of quiet places to stay
There are many waterfalls and pointview restaurant at 500- 600 meters high to have your breakfast. I'll give Both green mango, reggae pub and super subfor their drink price (nam-som and nam-manaoo for 50 Bhat, cheapest in thailand you get), staff friendliness and it's atmosphere a big A++
Samui has also cutest airport i have ever seen, definitely a paradise to revisit again
Has anyone been to Krabi? well know for best in thailand for it's scenery and laid back lifestyle (much smaller nightlife compare to samui, may be has somthing to do with 40% local muslim thai), read it had 1.4 million visitors last year. They opened first airport this may only

1-Can you open a reatail shop that sales items like Bags, shoes, watches, jeans, shirts.... to thais?
2-How about doing Online and onsite real state business helping people find apartments and online hotel booking combined ( i saw one in sukhumvit few years ago and few in phuket as well), Do you "HAVE" to register with TAT ? if can't, what type of real estate activity farang can take part in?
I'm asking this questions because i have never seen any farang shop owner ref#1, Are these kind of businesses are on list " prohibited business" for farang or have some kind of ristrication that put some kind of obstacle on your way of starting one?
Can provide list for me, What other business are that farang are not allowed to take part in?
-
I saw your thread with same topic in Krabi forum? Are you trying for a way to commit suicide
if business go south one day

Skin-tight & sexy
It is difficult to control students, she said.

At last, the truth comes out!
They really want it stopped, tell every farang attack each and every girl with short skirt.
Bangkok post:
Cave men are attacking girls having short skirts

Are you the thai man who offered me home wife yesterday at bangla road?
If not, can you preper one for me? I can eat what ever she cooks

Theoretically whats the outcome if you are caught?
A big fine or prison?
I know 5 years is the max in prison.
Anyone know anyone that has been caught and the punishment?
Would this also result in a red stamp in the Passport?
Cheers.
dude, 5 years is drug selling senetance, not WP, come on, Farangs are not harvesting gold
in thailand.

There used to be a reasonable pool at the YMCA on Sathorn.
Don't know if it is still there.
I was observing bkk from google earth and i can say there are more than nearly
1000 sized swiming pool in bkk, amazing
I know there should be less than ten 50meters pool in bangkok
search database for bangkok and worldwide pools, however their
data submission is by indivituals who swim there, example Tehran
has one swiming pool listed only, infact i know it has more than twenty
50meters pools alone

Boxing, kickbox, muaithai,..whatever is a complete joke in phuket, i recall a guy training in large gym located in bangla road claiming to be once thai champion, and found later him & rest of gangs working as a bouncers in tiger disco later each evening, Ridiculious

Am i right? why would any male marry mid 30s while living in country like los? what is the point of living in Thailand and early marriage? I'm saying this because bachlor life seem to be more demanding than family life for young age in Los
Being on my second marriage at 31, first brit, second asian (non-thai) then i can say that the married life is more demanding in LOS, however i have a great son who always reminds me exactly where home is....
I understand if you marry you are to remain faitful, that mean no more enjoyable nightclubing, less friends, less traveling long-journeys ....
What is more demanding, can you give few examples...

Hi, I'm heading out to Phuket on Friday and wondered if anyone has had any experience of any good camps in phuket.
I've got all the websites for phuket, and so far I think I'm liking the look of the gym at Suwit (bestmuaythai.com).
Main things I'm after ios :-
1. A camp that has active fighters.
2. Not a tourist orientated camp.
Not too worried about speaking english just a real thai oreintated camp, if anyone has actual expereince of the camps out ther would be much appreciated.
I know a gym in Bkk, they practice both muay thai and american boxing, owner still fight
and very active ranked asia PABA fighter, he have many good fighters under contract and
fight all over thailand bkk, phuket, pattaya to indonesia, australia,.....They can kick your ass
also if that's what you require someone to do

Any swiming pool with good facility and english speaking swiming instructors ?
I found from internet that both Kasetsart University/phahyothin (50 bhat) and sport athourity of thailand/ramkamheng (30bhat) each has several pools with 50 meters lenght open to public, anyone have any experiance at those places?
Kasetsaht university has a nice pool; family friends live near there and I used to swim quite often when i still was reliving my triathalon glory days....
In the weekends they often have racing, so you cannot use it.
In the weekdays, don't go after about 4pm as there are sometimes little kids swimming side to side, and that can make for fun collisions.
THe water is clean; take no valuables or leave in the car, as I don't think there is any lockable lockers. It is not too chlorinated and nicely warm; fun to swim during the day then go to the food court which is well cheap. It is quite far inside the uni.
There is a swimming pool right next to ABAC Hua Mak, but maybe you are better off to go check out Anna in her bikini at Bang Na, because that pool seems to always be full of little kids peeing in the pool probably. And you would not get to see that gold bikini :-)
There is also a pool at the gym 25m in the Yontrakit building in Lard prao on Wipawadee, but not sure the cost per visit.
Why do you need instruction? Are you a serious swimmer wanting to race, or do you just not know how to swim well? I was forced to learn to swim when my then boss entered me into a triathalon a month before it, and I could not swim at all.
You can learn with a few pionters, and later on I was getting some good pointers which I am happy to pass onto you. I got to the point of winning a sprint triathalon once 3 years later, so I must be sort of ok.
And no, I am not gay either (not that there is anything wrong with that!). To prove it, maybe Jockstar you and me can go on a spy session to Bang Na
Thanks steve for all details, you seems to know north eastern part of bangkok better than me
I like to learn swiming for both health (mild diabetes) and padi scuba diving course 400 meters
swim test.
I like that part of bangkok bangkapi, ladprao, ramkamheng...Do you know any furnished apartment
for less than 10,000 , with good swiming pool ( some days might not go outside) for at least 2 month stay. I know greenery house (free DSL internet), PKmansion both with swiming pool, but never stayed there before (search em on internet only)
I started swiming last 30 days, my coach in Dubai, is 28 yo former Iranian national team champion
1500 meter race, but i feel though he is a very good swimer, he doesn't have what it takes to teach an avarge person like me. Best swimmer aren't best teachers always :-)
May i know how old are you, I am just seeing if we actually have something to chat about..Im only 33 so the age gap affects conversations greatly, however it will be great to meet you and i'm sure those pointers will be very inspiring too

I made this thread to see the poll result, and it's not per my expectation
The poll question was geared toward males only, not ladies in this forum, and it's very surprising to have many voted under 36 yo? my guess is some ladies have voted here

Perhaps not everyone thinks that sleeping around and partying every night is the funniest thing you can do?
Perhaps some just grow up later then others and have to be like kids in a candy-store for longer...
I'm 28 and would expect a child around 12 months from now (we are working on it).
Good to hear you are getting married early, I had this question in mind always for people like you, why is it that you like to marry early and have childern? Is it because you enjoy family life or there are kind of advantages to it compare to remaining single
Kid in a candy store, is a perfect discribtion, I know some guys who play the field even after getting
married, that's not my personality, i think one should remain faitfull once married, it can cause all
sort of problems too

Ladies, please don't vote
Thank you

Anyone know how one can get a motorbike if don't want to buy and what charged?
