bangkok will be like Dubai in 2030, I am quite sure, even now there are multiple 5 star hotel in Bangkok than there are in my home country, so much luxury shopping centers which siam paragon etc etc, to now they build the third largest skyscraper in the world in bangkok 125 floor higher than anything in the whole europe.people constantly talking shit about Thailand and Bangkok, but in the future will be the reverse, wait 20-30 years when all welfare countries in Europe can not continue to give money to lazy people who do not want to work, countries are going to go on an economic blow , then there will be inversely Thais come to us for the holiday. hahah

they told me the same thing, I was back there on October 13, retrieved my passport this week on Monday, October 20th, they told me the same thing.the lady said I did not book a ticket, a booking confirmation was enough.

The enter before date on the visa is just that. It is the last day you can enter the country not the amount of time you can be in the country.
You will get a 60 day entry that you can then extend for 30 days.

i went to the thai embassy in oslo 13.10.2014 (1 week ago)apply for tourist visa, i went back to the embassy to pick up my visa today, i took a look on my visa now, i see in the, visa Enter before 12 jan 2015 and the date of issue is 13 oct 2014..but i will not arrive thailand before 3 november, so that mean after i have been in thailand in about 1 month and 1 week i have to get extension in the immigration. that mean i can only stay 2 month and 1 week ??

never had problem with taxi in bangkok, lived in huai kwang area a year ago took taxi everyday, it happened occasionally that they refused to run, but has never happened that they have refused to use the taxi meter, the only place I can remember I have had no problem with the taxi was in kuala lumpur where taxi DRIVER refused to use the taxi meter every time .... for a taxi in bangkok refuse to take you there, oh no you waiting for new taxi. do not understand why there are so many brats who complain about taxi in bangkok.

do not understand why there are so many people complaining about how Thailand works, you even chose to come here, enjoy ye not how things work here so no one forbids you to return to the nanny state paradise.
home in uk, australia or usa or wherever you come from so it is certainly much better to take a taxi there, but you have to expect to pay 10 times what it costs in bangkok ....
