It's all becoming a very sad tale.....   The country i've lived in and loved for over thirty years looks as though it's about to enter into months or years of pain.    TVF might be a forum of discontent, but as we all know when we're moaning we're generally ok........ It now seems to be that the writing's on the wall and Thailand is going to enter into a new level of desperation, something it does not need and obviously cannot control, which i believe will have monumental ramifications within the country.....    I do hope that the powers that be don't forget where all this misery came from....... and it wasn't the UK !    Looks as though i'll be on the hoof for a few months longer than planned.......  All good by me.......    I'm truly concerned for the Thai people at this moment, and some form of leadership is sorely lacking.......  "Cometh the hour, cometh the man"........... Hopefully......

Meanwhile Thailand still has Dengue, Typhoid etc with much higher mortality rates and the real “loonies” seem to ignore it.

Boom !   Thank God someone hit the jack pot ........ Try looking at the suicides, road deaths, malaria, Dengue, Aids figures over the last year and it makes you realize what Herr Goebels meant when he said that "if i had a radio in every house i could control the world"...........     ( Which he did in Germany during WW2 )........ Old trick, new dogs...... 

Laughable...... It's like watching a circus act with seals and hoops.......   It's strange how April and May are always fighting months in Thailand and once again the virus is implimented just like last year to lock em in !   Better than bullets this one..........   Obviously Burma should be given a dose of this stuff....... Bullets are not working up there......    The question is....... When will the people say,    No More !

I've had a bit of time recently to look back on all my years in Asia and especially Thailand and i've come to the conclusion that i never would of believed that the once great and free tourist mecca of Thailand has been turned into such a mess of uncertainty and intimidation that it is today.

I wouldn't dare say what i think on here, but i think many people are thinking the same thing.... I'm not scared of a virus, i'm more scared of the individuals who consider themselves able to run a country.....

I'm secretly hoping that when all this madness is over, the people who have destroyed Thailands tourism industry take their hands off the helm and go and play somewhere else.

Thailand used to be such a wonderful carefree country where you could enter anytime from any border without any trouble, now it's an absolute uncertain nightmare of nationalistic, isolationist, lunacy.......     What an absolute shame for everyone........ Mind you, at least it hasn't reached the levels of stupidity and insanity that Burma's currently experiencing.......  Mind you, give it time........
