  1. Buy a shotgun, shoot and kill it.

Leave it somewhere in your appartment for a few days.

If you have any other rats in your house they will leave after smelling the dead one.

If you still see others, shoot them as well.

  2. I went for a Thai driving licence and it was easy.

Just fill out some papers show the document where I live and my Dutch driver license then go for the eye test.

Completed succesfully the test and went back and waited for my documents to be reviewed and signed /stamped.

Once everything done I got my one year license.

After a year and half I went back and had my license extended for 5 more years within 10 minutes.

  3. Why was the Mall Bangkae closed for 4 months due to renovations when they only added a 4th floor filled with audio and all other electronics?

Why were there all TV stations on Rama 3 at TRT HQ yesterday and today causing massive traffic jam?

Why did it not rain today???????????

Why do cashiers check the amount of change they give back ten times?

Why serious topics cannot be discussed at TV chat?

Why this freakin add shows to meet nice ladys in Thailand everytime I visit this site?

And why when I click on that add I do not see any nice looking Thai lady?

    Too many questions,

  4. Oh my goodness,

The never ending story about men not understanding women and women not understanding men.

I remember a conversation I had with some girl.

She told me she liked the way I looked and think about life.

She told me she wanted to be my partner.

OK I said, what do you offer me I asked.

W: I can take care you.

Me: I can take care myself

W: I can cook for you very nice meal

Me: If you can cook better meals then me I will think about it, but be warned, I am a very good cook

W: I can clean very well

Me: Sorry I can clean anything myself

W: I look very nice and sexy

Me: That is what you think, you could loose a few pounds to be honest

I asked her what she would be willing to give me, I was just waiting to give me the correct answer which is: ?????

Come on girls, I am sure one of you can give that answer.

Does Oral Sex have anything to do with it?

Cos I personally can not do that for myself.

    :o

  5. You know marriage is invented by the Christian church.

    Kind regards,

    Alex

Oh really, people didn't get married till after Christ? What a stupid statement! I suppose all the historical records of people being maried BC are all incorrect are they? And do only Christians get married?

Marriage is an agreement entered into by people who love each other and want to make a life-long commitment to each other. Whether it's a legal or religious, or both, it's a good thing and one that most people want.

It has been around since the dawn of civilisation.

Marriage was invented by the so called 'God' please read Genesis 2 and 3.

As you know or might not, the Koran and bible are very similair in content if you read between the lines.

Suegha, If you have any proof that show me that I am wrong in my thinking please show, I always like to learn!

Take care na, just asking questions no pun intended.

We are not as bad as you think we are.

Finding the Mister right one for you is impossible as there are more then 5 Billion people on this planet.

You might end up with someone that you like in terms of outside and inner looks but it will never be the 100% perfect person you have in mind.

Then again what is the point of it finding your lifetime partner, it only restrict yourself in developing yourself.

So just have a wonderfull time with whoever you meet and learn from it.

When the moment of boredom comes just be prepared to finish the relation and move on to your next experience.

You know marriage is invented by the Christian church.

Ask yourself the question what is it you wanna learn from a relationship?

  7. Just before you go sleeping drink two glasses of water with some sweet syrup/lemonade.

When you wake up have a good cold and hot shower (finish with hot) eat some scrambled eggs, drink some vitamine C (Redox) and there you go.

If really bad try an icepack on your forehead and temples before above mentioned and after.

Use Megamen vitamin on a daily base, it will strengten you and hangovers will be less severe.

Do not drink anything with caffeine the (next) morning .

When you have a drinking session stick with the first alcohol containing drink you took, do not switch!!!

Drink lots of water, Gatorade or some other energy drink

    Alex

By the way I tried the Hang drink and it really taste bad but it seems to work.

  8. To the OP, my answer is no.

Being in some country where many people believe in ghost does and did not change my believe that there is some kind of energy active after you die.

I do not call them ghost.

I just recently (2 years ago) came to this believe.

Before I never ever even wanted to think about it, untill.....

I was called by my mother that my father was in hospital for a check up as he was very sick.

This was on wednesday and she told me he will go for MRI and CT scan the following day.

On Friday I called to find out the result and my mother told me he had cancer and was very ill.

On Saturday I travelled to BKK from SG as I had to do a training on Monday.

At that time me and my family did not know how severe his illnes was and that is why I told them , OK after I finish my training I will come to Holland.

Sunday evening my brother called me and told me my father was very sick and he told me to come back to Holland as fast as I could becouse he thought my father was not going to make it very long.

Ok on Monday I made travel arrangements to go back to SG and from there to Holland.

I took first flight back to SG on Tuesday and on that flight I experienced some very weird dream.

I woke up on the very time my father died ( I checked that after I landed).

I called my brother and told/asked him if my father died at that time and he confirmed.

Ok when in Holland whe did the funeral and I had to go back as my company only gives one day leave for that.

Once I got back in SG I had a very bad dream.

I became my father, feeling all his feelings of confusion and fear and questions why me, I could hear all conversations between my family.

I could hear my brother telling the nurse to give some more morfine, I could see I (My father) was wearing some blue shirt.

So after I had those dreams I called my brother and mother to find out if what I dreamed was true.

My mother was shocked and asked me how did I know all of this as we never talked about that, same my brother.

It made me realise that after someone dies the (soul) energy is still active and is searching for contact to make sure we know that those who died are still sort of alive in a spiritual world and are there to watch you and help you in whatever way.

    Kind regards,

    Alex

  9. Quote MDW: The potential damage they can do

Yes exactly what I would be looking for when I wanted to protect my house and belongings.

(And your statement about pitbuls is based on what MDW)?

To the OP, what are you looking for?

Are you looking for some animal that alarms you when there are intruders or are you looking for an animal that can take them out?

If you choose for an animal that alarms you, are you willing to take out that intruder?

    Think about it OP.

  10. I think you should be looking for something else than a dog.

    Consider a crocodile.........

Anyway dogs that bark do not bite so you wanna have some kind of dog that just shows his teeth when there is an intruder is much better.

I had a dog once trained to guard and defend. I took it home and told her to guard while I went to bed.

I only forgot to tell my brother that I just purchased this dog.

My brother came home at night and stick his key in the lock, the dog without warning almost bit off the doorknob.

This dog saved me once while I was in the city when a gang wanted to attack me, it took out three members, then they backed off.

The point is that if you want to have a dog to protect you and your family you need at least a well trained medium sized one.

Have it trained to attack and guard on command.

A pittbull comes into mind, they are not very big but are real slaughters when you train them well.

But you need to be a strong person and the leader, 24/7.

Why not go for an IR and/or movement sensor detection solution with a direct connection to the police?

Many ways you can secure your property and family, did you think about other options?

  11. Hi Bambi,

Why you not try something like Asiafriendfinder?

What is it that you are looking for?

I met you once and you seem to be a nice person but you admitt here that you always wanna look for something better.

What are you looking for Bambi?

  12. Quote:

Consider: Earlier this month, Abbott Laboratories announced that it would sell to Thailand and dozens of other low-income nations, Kaletra for $1,000 per patient annually. That's about 55 percent less than Kaletra's current cost and cheaper than every copy of the medicine available. In March, Merck similarly offered to drastically reduce the price of Efavirenz.

Yet Thailand has asserted that it will maintain compulsory licenses for both medicines.

Or look at the Global Fund, which recently announced that it would foot Thailand's entire bill for Efavirenz by purchasing a generic version of the drug from a World Health Organization-approved plant in India.

  14. Alcatel-Lucent and NEC will jointly deploy the Asia America Gateway (AAG), a high-bandwidth optical fiber submarine cable system linking Southeast Asia to the United States.

According to a statement Friday, Alcatel-Lucent and NEC will design, manufacture, install, integrate and commission the AAG network, which will span 20,000km. The network will cost US$500 million to build and is expected to be completed by the end of 2008.

First mooted in June 2006, the AAG will complement existing cable systems like the APCN2 (Asia Pacific Cable Network) and the Japan-US Cable Network which currently connect the Southeast Asia region to North America via North Asia and pass through areas most prone to seismic activity.

In December 2006, an earthquake off Taiwan measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale damaged seven submarine cable systems including the APCN2 and Asia Netcom's East Asia Crossing. Although Internet communications across Asia suffered a complete blackout or severe network congestion, services were quickly restored in a few days.

In a separate release Friday, Singapore's StarHub became the latest telco to join the 17-member AAG consortium. The telco will manage and operate a cable landing station in Singapore, connecting the island-state to the AAG.

Other operators in the AAG consortium include AT&T in the United States, Bharti in India, CAT Telekom in Thailand, Eastern Telecommunications in the Philippines, PT Indosat in Indonesia, PCP in Cambodia, Saigon Postel Corporation in Vietnam, Telstra in Australia, Telkom Indonesia and Telekom Malaysia, among others.

The AAG submarine cable system, which can support about 130,000 high-definition television (HDTV) signals simultaneously, is designed to provide a capacity of up to 1.92 terabits per second of data bandwidth. It is also upgradeable to meet future growth in bandwidth requirements for new broadband applications such as video, data, and other multimedia services.

And for those that want to know where all those cables are, go here: http://www1.alcatel-lucent.com/submarine/r...orld_Map_LR.pdf

  15. Have you ever calculated your ROI on your 12 million Baht investment?

You say you make 35 satang per litre of fuel sold.

Let us say you are at a ten year it means you need to sell a 1000 liters a day to break even after ten years (for example if only selling fuel).

It means you need to have a net profit of (all of your combined bizz and shops) about 33000 Baht a day.

Good luck but I think I know better ways to invest your money.

  16. Hi all maybe some of you can help out.

I have an HP notebook (6120) that has always worked well apart from a blinkering screen at times.

recently it failed to power on at times.

Sometimes it did power on sometimes not.

Sometimes when it did power on it booted sometimes not.

So I brought it to the HP service center and after two days I got a quotation that they have to replace the MB and mediacenter (whatever that is).

    Total bill 28000 Baht.

I asked them why it is not under warranty as the notebook is only 1.5 years old and they said it is damaged so no warranty.

    (Friendly Thai smile included).

Anyway I told them not to repair it as I think I can buy a new one for that.

Then they told me I have to pay 1200 Baht for service done, OK I agreed to pay that as someone must have been doing some work on it.

I asked for a reciept and was told to wait.

I waited for a while and then the lady gave back the 1200 Baht and told me I did not have to pay because there was no labour involved.

Did anyone check my notebook I asked, Yes they did the lady told.

So why I do not have to pay?

Certainly there was some labour involved to check what was wrong with my notebook I told.

Just a friendly smile and no explanation.

So I brought it back home and try to start it up.

Power on works but it hangs in the HP logo.

Tried F10 to get to the set up but nothing happens.

Anyone here that might know a fix or a reason for this?

    I am lost....

  17. I remember reading a website (Blog) written by a Thai teenager about his life on school and how he became addicted to yaa baa and his struglle to

    finish his addiction.

It was/is very interesting as talking about yaa ba addiction of teenagers in Thailand is still taboo.

According to him it is a massive problem that does is not discussed in the media.

What you are about to read is a harrowing but true story of drug addiction. It is a story that has never publicly been told in Thailand before. Drugs is a taboo subject and many teachers say that things like this never happen at their school. But it does. Only young Gor (his real name) has been brave enough to stand up and say "I am a drug addict. I have a problem. Please help me." Despite the hundreds of letters of support he has received from teachers, parents and teenagers from around the world there are many in Thailand that believe that this is a story that shouldn't be told. The sad fact is, the drug problem in schools cannot be solved until people first admit that there is a problem.

Go here for the full story: http://www.thaidrugaddict.com/

A few links to get to know him:

    http://www.thaiprisonlife.com/ (where he is now)

    http://www.gorsworld.com/ (his story)

These all are real and not fiction.

    Enter the real world.....

  18. Yo raro,

You have been completely misinformed about the placenta issue.

What you and your partner should have done is eat the placenta right after your cat gave birth and in front of her.

In this way the powers come inside you and stay with you.

You can still do it by eating the sun dried one but powers will be a bit less.

Just Google on eating placenta and power

    :o

  19. Yo Rainman,

Don't be so hard on Farang Prince na.

He is fighting for the 'third sex' so he does not have to think he is gay ore not.

I guess he is strugling with that feeling now.

Yo, Alex, not that it is any of your business, but I'm very comfortable with my sexuality. I'm very happy to be bisexual. I have had wonderful experiences with women, men and ladyboys. Not everyone can be so lucky. So please, don't overtax your intellect by trying to psychoanalyze me.

    Hi Farang Prince,

Sorry, I apologise for the comment I made there.

To me if two people love eachother and not hurt eachother it is fine with me, no matter if they are same sex or not.

I just think that this Thai organisation should start with the basics by asking to change the Thai law to allow fully transgendered people to change their gender in at least their passport/ID.

Next to that allow them to marry and have the possibility to adopt children.

How is your partner thinking about that?

Is your partner planning to have surgery done to remove the male part?

What do you prefer your partner to be, half half or full?

I am not asking these questions to bash you afterwards just a genuine interest.

I know a few post and pre op and many post op tell they cannot have an orgasm anymore and that is why some of them (pre op) choose not to have the full operation.

I think you are very brave to admitt that you are living with a pre op (I guess) and tell you are bisexual.

So if there is anyone here that could shed some light on this third sex thing, one of them is you.

I have posted a few reply's and you can see I am very openminded on it but nobody reacts on what I think.

To me there is no such thing as a third sex.

You are either a genetic women that likes men (= heterosexual)

You are a genetic women that likes women (=Lesbian)

You are a genetic male that likes genetic women (=heterosexual)

You are a genetic man that likes men) (=gay)

You are a person that likes both (= Bisexual)

The fact that some people choose to have breast implants and want to look like a girl does not mean they are part of some different type of humans called third sex.

It means they could be in a transition phase to become a girl (post up) or not.

Some others just do it for the money and will not go for the full operation.

Anyway just have a good time with whatever you want, just do not hurt someone.

    Alex
