1. The paint is not expensive, I am sure you not purchase a million Bath worth of paint.

For that you can buy the whole stock of latex paint of a Homepro.

Just calculate the amount of meters you have to paint and divide by what the average 25 liter can cover.

I guess the cost of labor is much higher then the cost of paint.

    Cheers,

    Alex

  2. Hi NR,

That does not sound to promising.

I remember when my friend and I found a nice shoe shop somewhere in Patunam and we asked for a 43-44 size and the guy came up with a 42 and trying to stretch it to her feet size.

After half an hour stretching and trying to fit it, it did not work out, so my friend a bit sad.

Guy offered to make some tailor made shoes but waiting time was three weeks.

We did find some t-shirts but I think they were male shirts, anyway she buy some.

I really do not know where to bring her now for the next visit, maybe I ask the shoe guy to make something for her.

    Bambina advice please!

  3. Hi all,

Some time ago I asked here where to find some heels and clothes for EU sized women and they told me to go Patunam.

So my female friend and I went there but could not find her size shoes and others.

She is coming again end of this month and asked me again where to find boots clothes and stuff as she feels they are much cheaper here.

She is 1.80 CM tall and have a 44 shoe size.

Yep she is working as a model.

Anyone here knows a specific place to go?

  4. and some1 told there is a club opening until 6 AM :D but i dont know where ?

    CM^2 Novotel kri kri :o

    Bambi is right!

Take a few of your new friends there, they have free drinking all night for Ladyboys so make sure you bring a few of them with you so they can order a drink for free and give to you.......

    :D

  5. No worrie , I have been in Uzbekistan and the Balkan just after the war.

    China is great!

Do not believe all the negative story here.

People very friendly here in China and girls are OK.

  6. Hey ladies,

I'm planning to come to live in Thailand for a few years after my graduation. I quite fell in love with the place last year. But I know that I wouldn't be the typical farang expat (I'm in twenties, female), and while men often feel like they hit the jackpot when they move to LOS, I know that life can be harder for us girls there.

Some of the things I'm thinking of:

    - At home I'm considered a normal weight. Not model skinny, but suddenly in Thailand, I'm fat! I went into Boots to buy vitamins, and the salesgirl asked me if I was pregnant! I felt fat the whole time I was there, then when I got back home to my uni I was skinnier than everyone!

    - How do you meet a good boyfriend?. Many farang men are there because they want to date Thai women. I'd be happy to date a Thai guy (so many cute ones!), but how do I meet a decent Thai guy? Are many Thai guys interested in dating farang girls, beyond the "exotic" factor?

    - Fulfilling company, good friends. I realize lots of expats are male, and are there for different reasons than mine, how do you meet like-minded people?

    - Some male expats seem to have quite a lot of hostility towards farang women. do you just ignore them?

I don't mean these as complaints, I fully know not everything is the same as back home. I'm just wondering if the more experienced female expats on TV might give me the benefit of your experience. Do you also experience the things I mention above? Do you have some coping strategies, suggestions, ideas, etc? What do you get out of living in Thailand? :o Thanks everyone!

    Hi Canadian girl,

Please do not think that all "farang" here are here because of easy sex ok?

I for instance would love to meet some openminded people that can talk about other things then what is your name and where I come from.

Yes just have a good time and have a good talk that is all.

  7. Novotel CM2 bar rejects any transgender that wants to enter.

    Novotel management should be ashamed.

And yes I am avoiding any Novotel hotel to stay just to boycot them.

And I am travelling 35 weeks a year so they loose a lot of money only from me, imagine if 10.000 others are doing the same.

It is time for Thailand and the rest of the world and some of the people here at TV to wake up and get rid of their stereotype thinking and acting.

Humans are humans no matter how they look or what they feel.

    Alex

You might be barking up the wrong tree, Alex, if what Chinthee says is correct.

I do not think I am barking at the wrong tree

Shows you that sometimes is better to get all the facts first, think and then decide what action to take.

How about a personal experience huh?

Will be interesting to see what happens to the "threat" of Sutthirat. What will he/she do if Novotel fails to comply? Make a strip-tease in front of the CM2 and scare away customers?

Oh, no! Sue them for 10 billion bath for making him loose some business opportunities inside CM2.

Jai Dee trying to make me eat crow are you? :o (you're too trusting of people's motives.)

If I am wrong, I will pick up the bar tab at a bar in the Paradise @ Patong .

How come the article didn't include the statement made by the hotel manager and the press release from the hotel about the incident?

    Source please?

"What happened on Saturday night was regrettable but was most definitely not part of the CM2 nightclub entry policy, nor was it supported by its management," hotel general manager Michael Thomas said in a statement."

OK, we will see where the money is mister Thomas.

Next week Saturday I will go with a few LB friends of me to your club and see if we are allowed entrance. No worrie they are not BG and dress appropriate. I have heard there are already a lot of BG inside (GG so to speak).

Maybe you are afraid too loose all those GG prostitutes as they are no competition for a 10 times more beautyfull looking girl that is smart and can have a real conversation other then: Hello where you from and what is your name crap?

Hello. Novotel is saying it is opposed to what occurred and does not support the events.

    Source please.

    We will see

In my opinion any club has the right to refuse some kind of people, druggies, too drunks or people not dressed appropriate.

Next to that a club should make a copy of the ID card/pasport of any person that enters the club and in case they cause some kind of problem it would be easy to report. Next to that when a person wants to enter a club where he/she not have been before they should read the rules to obey with for that club and can then decide to enter or not.

When agreed the person is then given a pass that allows them to enter the club.

This works fine in Holland and some other countries.

Natee is in his/her full rights to sue Novotel for for abusing human rights, Oh, yea this is Thailand right, no human rights here.

TG people are tolerated but not accepted in many countries, I wonder why.

For your info, I consider TG people that had the full operation and live their life as a women as a women.

Others that have only boobies and dress and look like a girl I also treat them as a girl but I am aware.

Cheers all lets have equal rights for everyone.

  8. Novotel CM2 bar rejects any transgender that wants to enter.

I went there once with a TG friend of mine. No she did not look like a bargirl just decent dress.

Indeed first the crew had no problem letting us in untill they checked her ID card.

    Sorry no TG allowed.

I asked for the manager but they refused and did not explain why.

To those of you that think they are right, how about rejecting afro americans, jews, chinese or any other different looking people huh?

I agree when there is a party or something where there is a dresscode and someone shows up and want to enter not acording the dresscode they cannot enter.

What is the fear about TG people, they are all humans just like you and me.

    Novotel management should be ashamed.

And yes I am avoiding any Novotel hotel to stay just to boycot them.

And I am travelling 35 weeks a year so they loose a lot of money only from me, imagine if 10.000 others are doing the same.

    Hi Pepe,

Thank you for the kind reply,

Yes I am sure I am not gay however I do have some gay friends and I am OK with that.

The girl that sort of raped me is married now and have two kids.

Thanks for understanding how I feel as in your reply, but struggling how to feel better.

This is really hunting me as now I think all girls I meet want to do the same with me and I am a bit scared about it.

Kind regards and if you have some advice please tell.

  11. Hi all this is going nowhere.

The question is not the question actually asked.

The question is: If we have a question that can be questioned?

Some questions asked will cause counter questions but not give any answer.

No worrie about that , A question is a question no matter what.

So my question is: "Do we have a question that can not be questioned"?

  12. Ok lah here we go.

Waanjai, you are the most beautyfull person I have ever seen.

The moment I saw you, I was just out of breath and my hearth skipped a beat.

I seen you in my dream and now I have met you.

I feel we are destined to be together untill we die.

I will buy house and car for you and also for your family and will send them 40.000 Bath per month.

I will buy gold for you as much as 20 Bath every year for you to wear so we can show how much I love you.

Darling I will love you with all of my hearth and will support you in anything you ask for.

    Something like that Dude, :o
