Was just watching the big rainstorm here in BKK and remembered my predictions.

Here is what I predicted and so far have been sort of right...

1. Oil will surge to 100 Dollar somewhere around mid 2007.

2. A bomb attack against Chaves in May or June, he will survive.

3. More troops will be send into Iraq as from March.

4. Real estate prices in the US will fall dramatically as from May.

5. Gold price will rise up to 12-13000 Bath for one Bath gold (end of year).

6. Some big stock scandal in the US will come up think of Enron (September).

7. There will be no shortage of water during Songkran 2007.

Number 3, Proven right!

Number 5, Gold now about 11350 and going up.

Number 6. Going to happen, just Google on naked shortselling and scandals.

Number 7. A few days off but have a look at the weather now.....

I am a bit confused on how you actually think about Transsexuals, Transgendered, 2nd type lady.

Anyway, I can see you accept transgendered people that is, people that had the full surgery and such, do you accept and recognise them as being the gender they feel and (many times) look they are?

I see that you are aware of the frustration they must go through when they need to show their ID and get reminded all the time that in fact they are not (legally) what they feel they are.

Again, I am only talking about TG people that did have the full operation and all other things needed.

As you know (Thai) TG people with full op do not have the possibility here to change their gender at least in their ID card.

But they can change their first name , at least that is a start...

You are mentioning that Thais have their way to adress such (TG) people by calling them: 2nd type lady in case of M to F.

So would it be possible that Thai people call TG people 2nd type because they just do not have a word to describe this as changing gender is not possible in Thailand?

When following you you tell there should be something official that determinates if a guy had undergone surgery to become a girl, that at least that person should be tagged as a third gender?

Imagine that you went through all of this, would you be happy being called a third gender?

Steve in all of countries that accept TG and allow them to change their gender on legal documents the only document they cannot change is their birth certificate.

So I say no to third sex BS, people that go through painfull operations to become the gender they feel they are should be allowed to be that legally.

What I am surprised of is that you can buy the THAI verion for just 180 Baht or something at Lotus.

While the English version is something like 8000 or more.

I agree that there are only two type of gender male and female.

But I think what Thailand should do is making it possible for transgenderd people to change their gender in their passport

so that they can marry and have the same rights and protection as genetic genders.

I know a few transgendered (male to female) most of them have normal jobs and live a normal life and are humans, just like all of us.

But when you hear some stories about how often they get discriminated in Thailand.

Let me give you some examples.

When a TG (MF) gets raped they cannot file a complaint for rape as in Thai law males cannot be raped (I cannot confirm as I do not know Thai law but this was told to me).

I once wanted to go to a certain disco with a TG friend of mine but she was refused after seeing her ID card and they found out she was a TG.

No she was not a BG and did not even look like one.

So I say come Thailand be a bit more modern and start looking at and follow for example the Dutchies with their very openminded approach on same sex marriage.

I think that it would be even insulting for Transgendered people to be called: "a third sex"

Am I now going to have housearrest for my opinion.........

I have drinked tap water for about a year here in BKK, never got sick.

But but but, I changed to bottled water after I noticed what was developing in a drinking bowl for my cat.

Had the drinkingbowl filled with tapwater on my balcony and it stayed there untouched for about a week (I had the doors closed thats why).

I have had a GF for 8 years with mental problems that manifested after 3 years together.

We were on a holiday in Greece when she slipped on a rock and fell, that is where are the sh1t started.

She fainted and was shivering, very nervous and hyperventilating.

Doctor came in and told her to relax and enjoy.

The holiday was a disaster as everyday she was feeling like that.

Back in my homeland she started taking drugs (XTC and weed) and also dragged me into it.

At that time I thought that maybe I could understand her if I did the same, no way.

I stopped taking drugs after a while as I could see it was a road to disaster.

She continued for a longtime and whatever I did I was not able to stop it.

She did many bad things that I will not tell here but at a point it was more then enough for me and my and her family.

I decided to beat her up, yes I know this sounds very bad but at that time I thought it was the last thing I could try to get to know the why.

And guess what, it worked. I finally got to know the root cause of her problems.

After lots of talking I managed to get her to a clinic where she would spend the next six months of her life.

They put her on Seroxat and some other medication and she became a frikkin Zombie.

When she came back to my house and I tried to connect she started seeing other guys and in the end she ended up with my neighbour.

After a year with him she married him and guess what happened, she filed for divorce 2 days after her marriage as she was having an affair with another guy.

What I am trying to tell you Simon is that some people cannot be helped no matter what you do.

Please do not get your wife on medication as it has been a proven fact that those anti depresants have many negative side effects (Just Google Anti depressants and Violance). Sorry spelling wrong I think.

Try to find out the root cause of her problem (It might be you) and do not be afraid.
