  2. Getting back to my original opening post my proof of life letter turned up, it had taken two months to get here, my pension had been stopped, hence the phone call as outlined in the opener, i did write them a letter stating my pension was now ok after the phone call, did't expect a answer and did't get one, civil servants i presume working from home, poor dears, probably rushed of their feet.

So they accepted your phone call as being the necessary proof that you were still in the land of the living in lieu of a fresh Life Cert? I distinctly recall someone else on here who called them recently but was told that he still had to submit a paper Life Cert by snail mail! A case of left and right hands at the IPC, it would seem.

Yes, the georgie woman excepted my phone call after going through many checks, then finally said ok it should take a couple of days for the money to arrive in my UK account, though i'm told it's more than a couple of days!

You can contact the International Pension Centre (IPC) by email, using the online enquiry form.

It is taking longer than usual to reply to online queries.

You need to report changes to your personal details (such as your address or bank details) by telephone or letter.

    Telephone

    State Pension

    Telephone: +44 (0) 191 218 7777
    Textphone: +44 (0) 191 218 7280
British Sign Language (BSL) video relay service if you’re on a computer - find out how to use the service on mobile or tablet
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm

Thank you and others for your quick replies, would you know the email address you quoted by chance?

i try to avoid phone calls as my 86 yr old ears are not so good these days, so email would be a good start!

  6. My UK (DWP) was paid into my UK bank (Halifax Bank) every week without fail, until recentley when it has suddenely stopped, the last payment being 2nd May, has anyone else had this problem?

I thought maybe they (DWP) had put me onto monthly payments with bothering to infom me which under this shambles of a government we've now got, could well be!

Anyone any knowledge of this to put my mind at rest!

you need to head towards Jomtien with Pattaya behind you.

Straight thru the lights witch has the turn left to Treppasit Rd

To the next set of lights

Straight thru these lights and immediate left. you will see an overhead sign bearing the name of the office that you are seeking.

The Tax office comes to view -it is the only  office down there.

Past security -office on the right.

Thank you very much for your precise infrmation, and a happy Christmas to you!

I heard a theory about issues with self-image leading to tattoos.  It's something like they want their outside to look like how they feel inside.  Maybe they want people to see them as dirty, as they fear surprise or disappointment when people find out what they do.

    Youmean like Avatars (sp) then!

It's not muslims which is the problem, it's Islam, you know the cult of hate and intolerance which caused 9/11, and over 48k other terrorist attacks since 1979. Islam is fundamentally violent as that is how it started and was spread. The fake prophet was a self confessed terrorist- 'I was made victorious with terror' Sahih Bukhari 2977

Intolerance not according obama, how he said that without laughing i don't know!

Muslims won't stop being Muslims, their religion is flawed with violence, intolerance and oppression, so what can England do? it's heading for a civil war and the politicians aren't offering any solutions, very unpatriotic and naive of them.  my sympathies, Britons

"intolerance" not according to exPresident Obama, how he said that with a straightface i'll never know!

  11. The strange thing to me is you see Thai people working outside they put on more clothes not less and not even break into a sweat, i understand the bit about not turning their skin black but not seemingly to sweat at all, seems to be a genetic built in trait i suppose, which us whitey's don't have even after living here for years!
