  1. Yes thank you, i have thought of that route already we live in Sattahip, not far from Jomtien just off the Sukomvit Road area, next question is can anyone suggest an agent in that area that can do the job and roughly outline prices etc. i've obviously got money for a marriage visa in the bank, and a retirement visa is double that anount, so an agent would provide the differance, as i understand it, which is about all i understand of retirement route! Thank you Dr Jack and all who responded to my post, and good luck to all of you!
  2. Did my marriage ext yesterday 24th feb Jomtien IO two new girls at the counter 6, the girl we had, picked on everything plus wanted two extra photos kitchen and bedroom the lady on the counter in previous years was no problem two photos outside house one showing house number etc, and two inside, with this new girl every form scrutinised plus old pasport and new passport looking at every single page over and over by this new girl, glad my wife had taken care i just sat there as usual totally ignored except to countersign ever single form that she pulled out from the heap, took about 2 hours in all at IO, wife went back alone today with two extra photos required, and did the 90 day clockin at the same time, completly ridiculous waste of time, this is my 12th ext and as others have said, same thing every year, very tireing for a 87 yr old semi invalid bloke like me sitting in a wheelchair!

  5. I too have a 1tb HDD from Toshiba bought a couple of years ago, worked well for a while then suddenly stopped for no reason that i can find, does not show up my computor etc. have tried all manner of differant disk checks, usually it does not even show up, on windows disk management it shows up as disk1 but will not inialise so cannot proceed any further, think it must be Toshiba fault, as i have a much smaller less well known HDD that has worked without fail for may years, any help?

  14. Got it sorted finally by phone (although the email address by "ppguy" looks promising) after a fairly long wait finally got through to a lady with a Newcastle accent who went through a check list and fialy accepted i was still alive, as others have mentioned it appears to be a proof of life form that i never received! So i would like to thank everybody again, that provided very helpful advice that put me on the right track. Just waiting now for missing paymets to appear on my UK bank account, (fingers crossed) will be checking everyday of course!
