Those pictures are disgusting. It is not only the Thai people who are responsible for this. The rest of Asia should be included. We were in Mae Sai earlier in the year. We visited the House of Opium Museum. While there, standing at the riverside where the Ruak meets the Mekong was a massive collection of trash that had come down the Mekong from Laos and China. One can only guess how much more is unseen and ends up in the South China Sea and Gulf of Thailand
