All these numbers are highly suspect. The whole exercise has become politicised. The 'died of corona' or 'died with corona' debate has given scope for a lot of mischief.

As advised many times already in these posts just turn up on or before the due date.

During the Korean war MacArthur wanted to nuke China out of existence in order to get them out of Korea and permanently out of any future significance in world affairs. He was refused, and sacked.

Players will have to disinfect their balls everyday. Another task for the caddie?
Used to be able to get them stroked in the rough. Happy days.

All those who worked on the Corona virus in the Wuhan lab have been removed or have disapppeared, and the doctor who wanted to alert the international community to what was going on has died. Chilling.

Actually, I am more bolstered by this than critical. The fact that we are actually reporting high numbers means we are being far more honest about our numbers than many other countries. Besides we are older and fatter than many other countries so have more high risk.
Best thing that came out of the meeting yesterday was reporters starting to ask of we will ask China for reparations, which as expected got little response
Yes indeed. There are a number of questions being raised by the numbers. UK death certificates are way over the top in stating Carona as cause of death. Left wing BMA are pushing this policy for purely political reasons.

On an expenditure that puts you in the top 1% globally I'd imagine you could have a great life anywhere.
A more interesting question for me would be could you say you loved Thailand and your life here if you were living on 50k a month?
Not being facetious.
Probably not.

Grow up.

I am 78, lived here over 35 years, married to my Thai wife for 30 years, run 2 houses (1 in Bangkok, 1 in Rayong), monthly expenditure 150k per month, love Thailand, no intention to leave. Not sure if this info answers your question, but you're welcome to it anyway.

It's a numbers game. If they send 4 consignments and 3 are intercepted, they still make a good profit. They have tonnes of the stuff.
Correct.

Another nail in the coffin of our reputation. Hopefully we will soon be clear of all such garbage as this.

They automatically assume that when my son dies the land and house will automatically be the property of his wife and all of her brothers and sisters.
My DIL severely dislikes her older siblings and is also quite frightened of them because they are serious bullies.
Son acquired his land and house several years before he met and married his wife so she has no automatic claim to the assets.
Son and his wife made a different plan, son made a will leaving house and land and all other assets jointly to his 3 daughters (daughters only), and there's a clause saying nothing can be sold until he is dead for 10 years.
Plus son put a usufruct on the land and house saying That I can live there until I die, and whilst I am alive it cannot be sold without my written permission.
DIL's mother and older siblings have never been told about any of the above, there in for a big shock if son should pass away.
Watch your back.

It is not law in Germany to wear a mask.
No federal law has been passed, only the states have introduce rules that masks are to be worn on public transport and when in shops. There are many regional variations and mass confusion. Because the evidence on masks is of course very weak. The UK is absolutely right not to bother to introduce a mask duty.
"The government’s scientific advisory group for emergencies (Sage) met on Tuesday to review the evidence on wearing face masks. The Guardian understands that the group is split on the best policy to adopt because the evidence is so weak."
Having looked at the evidence myself I am clear that there is not enough evidence to justify wearing a mask. I won't be wearing one when shopping in Thailand.
...therefore you will be making those around you uncomfortable. You obviously couldn't care less. Kindly go and live somewhere else.

This strikes me as pure ignorance.
Why not endeavor to follow a simple social norm that will help put others at ease?
Why feed the xenophobia and ill feeling out of a misplaced sense of righteousness?
For me putting on a mask to walk in to the 7 11 across the street or my local villa market comprises an entire 20 minutes of my day.
What is it exactly that puts you above all this?
What indeed. Some people are childish beyond belief.

Regularly driving Bangkok-Rayong (Baan Phe)-Bangkok. Only one checkpoint, never manned. Wife reports to the puyaiban, her friend, in Baan Phe on arrival and before departure. No issues.

But guess what? it appears to be far too much trouble for many to obtain, so they whine about the time and effort it takes to be processed and about it being of no benefit
Add an approximate price of 60 baht well no chance that is just the final straw!!! No way Jose over a a quid/ a couple of dollars surely taking advantage!!
My wife set it all up for me yellow book and pink card - considered it might be a good idea - is it? don't really know, but it means I am on record at the local amphur, having got married there also, a 'known' person so to speak which is always a good start
Permanent residence, why do you need it? comfort blanket? oh to resolve the hardship of immigration controls, give us a break, if it's not worth the effort then..... do one!!
I have found the pink card well worth the small amount of effort it takes to obtain it.
