Here is a question, that I have been unable to search out an answer.

In a passport that has a Non Imm B that is good til Oct 08, with multiple entry;

The passport expires November 08;

The current 90 stamp expires June 08;

At that date in June 08, the passport will no longer have a "min. 6 month life";

I understand that as far as Thailand is concerned,the holder can re-enter Thailand, on the orig Non Imm B visa up to and including the day before the visa expires.

But without a 6 month remaining life, would the holder be able to go across to Laos at Chiang Khong, to be able to re=enter Thailand, in June 08 ?

The internet shops with web feed are a stroke of genius, but I think that you would do much better to concentrate on well-stacked "falsies", rather than "fitted bras".

Taking a page from UG's Book, I would like to set up 5 or 6 locations around Chiang Mai and am looking for potential Franchiseees.

Along with the uplifting franchise package, would cum operational rights to the internet cafe's to be placed in close proximity to the franchise pads. There would be web cam feed from the nom de plums. Even one or two could serve refreshments.

To me she is a very, very special lady. I like to feel , that for my part at least, we have been friends for the plus side of 20 years. For this time she has always been Kn. Gee, to me, at least to now she has never corrected me for using that name.

As others have stated, she does have a very special outlook of life and has a way of instantly making you feel good about and very comfortable in her presence. This is a very special and unique ability. She always seems able to slip you a cupcake or muffin or cookie, most of the time, at least for me, not openly or outward, but more like a hidden secret in your purchase bag.

Always willing to help, even when meeting a stranger for the 1st time. I I had friends who came for a visit about 10 years ago, who had a chance to meet her, and to this day, any email or phone call from them , comes with a request " how is Kn. Gee".

Living here for a good number of years, I have met many, many people, who I really feel the world would have been better off if they had not contributed to the 'gene pool' . I am sure we have all met people like that. But I think that the world is NOT a better place due to Kn. Gee not having children. I am sure they would have been beautiful people, just like her.

With the extreme amount of cruelty to animals in Thailand I can't believe that any intelligent person would even CONSIDER visiting a place that has captive endangered animals like tigers. There is a ton of information about how tigers are treated in the Kanchanaburi temple/zoo. This is a massive money-making scam and the monks are in it for the huge amount of money they pull in from unsuspecting tourists.

Of course the tigers are drugged there too. If they weren't it would just be a matter of time before someone got an arm ripped off... or worse. To think that the monks are experts on tiger behavior is simply silly (to be polite). Volunteers have seen the tigers given drugs. There's a lot of evidence online. Do some research for Christ's sake. You're thinking about supporting animal cruelty!

We, each of us, has our own opinion, and I believe rightly entitled to our opinions. But where I have a problem is when a poster makes statements including words such as "scam", "drugged", impuning the integerty of monks in general, without offering any proof stronger than " of course" . The posters opinion would be better served if they expanded on the "of course" with some type of proof or documentation, other than letting us hear their gut feeling.

Galong probably thinks that it is just common sense that the Tigers must be drugged.

All I can say is that there are some really stupid people out there if they are not.

If you have proof, post it. Let each of us decide for ourself, based on your proof, if not don't slander based on which way the wind blows your skirt. Actually this could go for many posts on this forum. If its your opinion, say its your opinion and be on. What are you some sort of big cat Veterinary expert? How the heck could you say definitively? The only way is to drug test them. Lets face it petting large tigers by the public is an unusual attraction in this world. Why is it unusual? because they are very dangerous predators who have been known to hunt humans in places like India. Ever hear about Siegfried and Roy? That guy practically was tiger's father and it still tried to kill him.

Its not illogical to suspect they are drugged because we haven't read any stories of tigers killing visitors in Thailand.

This is analogous to saying "Lance Armstrong" or whoever does not dope because I have a friend who knows Lance. You have to be kidding right?

The tigers in Kanchanaburi are exersized then well fed before the tourists arrive. Their trainer who happens to be the abbot of the temple has raised most of them from cubs and reads their behaviour very well. He knows when to tell people to back off and wont let certain types of people anywhere near them.

The tigers probably pick up on your "state of mind" so i wouldnt recommend going there with an attitude, so to speak.

That would leave out most of the Tvisa members.

Must be some type of delay as at 13:28 it read 100F / 38C and 30% humidity and indicated that that was 28 mins ago.

It seems a bit strange with the continued high temps that we have been having, and it would seem also that the humidity factpr is pretty high, that we haven't been able to get any thunder storms or rain at least.

Just yesterday's 4 - 5 minutes of rain.
