Yup it seems to be working (mostly) with EU ? not entirely sure that's 100% accurate bust i think that all the positive feedbacks i read were from people from the EU. Anyways you can use the same email adress multiple times no worries, it's just that back then i didn't know that. (for instance i've received my 2 instant confirmations on my same yahoo email). Just DO NOT use hotmail as there's some issues, people do not even receive the acknowledgement email when they use hotmail. I've contacted the Thailand Pass website guys and they they will look into that issue but i think it's still broken for now ?

It's not manual trust me on that, it's only manual if the system fails to process automatically. I had tried like 12-15 times when their website opened with various email adresses, I've "manually" received these confirmations 3-5 days after. At the same time after combining various tips given in that threat last week (upload both EU digital covid certificate QR codes for both 1st and 2nd shot) and chose AQ hotel instead of SHA + i submitted again with a yahoo email address and got an instant confirmation. Called my friend that was struggling, told him step by step what to do, he did it over the phone with me and got an instant confirmation. Third, i had to amend my trip because my e-visa hasn't been delivered on time (was supposed to leave today). Amended all my bookings today for next week, submitted again with my yahoo email address and got an instant confirmation, within literally 2 seconds after clicking on submit. Several people in that thread were successful the same way (in the previous pages). Now for the "How is it possible" part, the system just read the documents and look for keywords, just like when you apply for an e-visa online and upload your passport JPEG it reads it and fill up all the details for you.

Not sure TBH. Are the vaccine certificates standardised in the US ? I think that's the probem you guys have. In EU there's only 1 system, in the US i've head people saying they didn't even had a QR codes, so if all the states have different certificates i think it makes it really hard for the system to be able to read it automatically.

ASQ = Alternative Quarantine (AQ) It doesn't work automatically if you chose SHA+, my understanding is that AQ hotels are the one you should book anyway for a 1 night "quarantine" in Bangkok with airport transfer / PCR test at the hotel. Yep that whole ASQ vs AQ vs SHA+ is a real mess and gets lot of people confused, including me. Edit : I said it takes 3-5 days because it's the time it took for all my previous unsuccessful attempts with various mailboxes to be processed manually. So yep don't take that number as something official

Yes just upload your EU digital covid certificate and QR code for both 1st and 2nd dose and it will work.

The process is 100% automatic if all the documents are uploaded properly (and if you have a vaccine QR code). You receive the confirmation right away, literally right away if everything goes fine. If the system fails to read the documents properly / QR code or if you improperly fill the form (SHA+ booking instead of AQ for ex) then it's processed manually and takes 3-5 days. Seems that the EU digital covid certificate works fine while people from the UK for ex have a lot of issues getting a Thailand pass.

The SETV only application required documents is a mess. Duplicated with point 10. if you're applying from your own country, you can't leave point 7. blank and you have to upload a document, in my case i've uploaded the same for 7. and 10. Same, can't leave the field empty and you have to upload something, in my case it's a new passport and i haven't travelled in over a year, what was i supposed to upload !? So i uploaded my full passport, yay. For me they asked the last month bank statement showing a balance of at least 2000 EUR.

Yeah same. My hotel booking confirmation has both ASH+ and AQ logos and that got me really confused. Turns out i didn't even read the booking confirmation properly (chtupid brain) as it states Alternative quarantine hotel booking confirmation. If only i had read that **** confirmation ????

Alternative quarantine is the only thing that worked for me. That whole SHA+ / AQ hotel is really confusing i still don't understand the differences.

Same, I still don't get what are supposed to be the differences between SHA+ and AQ hotels ? On my hotel confirmation there's both logo, however it states "ALTERNATIVE QUARANTINE (AQ) HOTEL BOOKING CONFIRMATION"

The worst is that if you have a Visa premier you already have an Europe assistance insurance for your travel (given that you bought your flight ticket with that Visa premier). BUT of course these <deleted> don't mention the covid on the insurances letter you'll get, instead they sell specific insurances for covid (like 200+EUR for 3 months)

*Deleted post edited out* The way the system is designed is that it reads the pictures you uploaded and the option you choose, so 1) when it's not working it will send you an "okay we'll get back to you within 7 days" email template. 2) when it's working it will send you a confirmation within 5 seconds They way it behaves tells you that if you submit it "improperly" = your request will be send in a drop box, manually checked. Now, do you want to wait for that manual check ?i'm leaving on monday, so the answer is neh, or do you want to find the right way to have your request approved, the answer is yah. It's a computer mate, do it right and it'll tell you OK;

Don't. Don't wait and see, keep trying until it works, upload some better JPEG, crop them tighter, change some details (for instance i have a bunch of middle names and my family's name is a total mess). As for your hotel booking, don't worry about it, they won't refund but you just have to say the magic word " amend", there's no such thing as a non amendable booking, trust me on that, say the magic word, don't mention the word "cancel".

No. Only at the like 4th step when they ask you for your hotel booking ID and confirmation, they'll ask you what kind of hotel you choose ASH+ or alternative quarantine, that's where i chose AQ. It was NOT on the first page when you have to choose between Exemption / sandbox / alternative. You chose Exemption and then later on when they ask you about your hotel booking details you choose "alternative quarantine" instead of ASH+

Well .... Anyways ... i agree, just try a different way / browser, but these errors codes usually don't mean anything even when properly coded, so when the whole thing has been coded with Blend 285, you know.

I'll just copy / past what i just said in the main post : Just keep trying. I've tried like 15 times with 3 different email address, the last attempt worked INSTANT, received the QR code within like 5 seconds. Do the tricks that seem to work, what i did : 1) Converted all my PDF to JPEG (no snapshot) online, just google it 2) Added a space after my passport number 3) Chose AQ hotel instead of ASH+ 4) Uploaded my 2nd vaccine QR code (EU digital covid certificate) for both 1st and 2nd dose QR codes. When i did that i worked like magic, i now have 14 pending requests but that didn't prevent the 15th attempt to go through Edit : why did i try so many times ? After reading that post and seing people getting some instant confirmation / QR code i knew that the system was automated (first i thought it was done manually). Hence, if you do not receive that confirmation instantly it means that the system wasn't able to properly read some of your uploaded documents, and your request will be processed manually (that's why some people receive the confirmation 1-2-3 days after, there's a human being behind). So just keep trying until the system is able to process automatically.

I've used them They're fine but there's one major issue : They don't take CC payments, only bank transfer OR (unbelievable) : They ask you to fill a form with ALL your credit card details so that they can charge you accordingly, thanks but no thanks. Fortunately i was able to pay with my Kasikorn account, the other payment method is .. a joke, unless you have an e-card.

Emirates whenever i can, i don't think there's much differences between Ethiad and Emirates anyway. + I got upgraded in business 5 times, i'll stick with them until i die (hopefully not in one of their planes)
