  1. So i'm confused about the work place(s) of the suspects. Some reports say they are laborers, one works in a restaurant, they work at AC Bar (didn't they DNA test all the workers at AC Bar? - which if that is right then either their DNA testing doesn't work or they don't know how to do it properly).

Also reports about their belonging's, some say nothing was taken, others say only Hannah's phone was missing.

Maybe the phone found in the bushes was David's and that's an error in reporting.

  2. The phone was handed over to the police by Hannah's friend who had it for safe-keeping. The police also asked for the code, which was given.

So, if this phone was in police possession, how did it end up smashed and behind the accused's accommodation?

    Maybe it was David's phone

  3. I want to hear from Sean McAnna,

it may be that he fingered the guys arrested and that is why he was threatened

Sean also said he was among a group of people playing guitar on the beach near the scene. He must have seen or heard, and known, the other Guitar players on the Beach. I guess not many Guitar players where on this beach during the Night. The police where looking for the Guitar players from the beginning.

I am also a guitar player,

if I was on that island, I would know every guitar player, especially after 18 months

if one killed two people, it would be passed along fast, assuming anyone saw it, which, Sean may have

Sean's post to facebook about not seeing david that night may have been false, but, he may have fled because he was going to get killed, because he was the only witness

Ive come to believe that Sean was telling the truth and news sites have actually just made up certain statements

  4. "Police officers then led the two to a safe-house where they were intensively interrogated."

I can imagine what that means. Beaten up intensively?

"Some blond strands of human hair were found at the scene and were kept as evidence."

    Found or planted?

Only a DNA match by the brit police I will believe. Match the DNA of the semen with that of the suspects. There have been too many mess-ups to base it on a confession only.

The blonde hair was in one of the first reports to come out, and that it was dyed hair.

  5. Why do so many believe they were not intimate, its the only thing that really makes sense.

Because most people will look at the crime through their own prejudices, logic, and beliefs i.e. it wouldn't be a Thai, Thai police are shown to be corrupt so that mean every Thai policeman is corrupt, or the Thai police have bungled many other cases so they will just bungle this one or both David and Hannah were in committed relationships so they wouldn't cheat on their partners because logically we aren't supposed to do that even though they are on the other side of the world at a party destination etc,

It's just in the end there is no completely concrete profile of a murderer. Every country in the world has a murder rate so realistically you have to expect that a number of people are going to get murdered every year.

  6. Only CCTV doesn't support that and another friend also said there was an altercation. Another friend said there wasn't. One friend said they left together. Another friend said David was home and went out to get some fags.

What I do know is that they are dead that it happened on a very small island under the noses of residents holiday makers and police. That there are numerous cameras that have captured most of the night on film residents that are afraid to talk and people skipping off the island or going into hiding. Most people are made to give DNA and others have a choice. And yet it's a couple of Burmese workers. Kay then.

Which CCTV doesn't support that? I find the statements that actually have a name put to them more believable.

  7. I don't believe the confession.

I don't believe the Brit guy and girl were having sex, or even together.

She was dragged off and attacked, he ran to help, now that story makes sense.

I believe it was a Thai related to the head man who is guilty, else why would they covered up for so long.

    Why don't you believe it?

People have sex on the beach. There is a reason their is a drink named "sex on the beach"

Hannah's friend Emma, said David and Hannah left together. Hannah's friend Lucy said that David was 'smitten' with Hannah and David had told his friend Chris he was going out to get cigarettes when another friend revealed he was actually going out to meet up with Hannah and Emma.

So i think it is pretty obvious they were having sex, hence why David was naked apart from his left shoe.

  8. Also the person who claims these couple couldn't be having sex because they were never seen being together - can you please explain this photo why are they sitting at the same table? jsut because they didn't seem to be together in the CCTV doesnt mean they can't be together else where.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2776072/Taxi-driver-says-beaten-Thai-police-investigating-murder-two-British-backpackers-refused-accept-bribe-false-evidence.html

Hannah's friend Emma said Hannah and David left the bar together between 3 & 4 am.

Hannah's friend Lucy said David was 'smitten' with Hannah

David told his friend Chris that he was going out to get cigarettes but he ended up going to meet Emma and Hannah.

  9. Collected DNA from 300 Burmese workers. Then find a discarded item bought from a convenience store which matches something near the crime scene what three Burmese bought and hey presto!

Shouldn't there DNA match the cigarette but too?

I don't see the relevance of DNA on a cigarette butt....to the murder of 2 innocent people. Just because a person was on the beach having a smoke with friends at midnight.....doesn't make them a murderer at 4am.

Wasn't there a report of 2 different samples of Asian semen found, wouldn't that be a much better way to convict a rapist / murderer than something that was found discarded from a shop or on a cigarette butt.

Then a story about 2 or 3 locally connected family members who refused DNA samples....although the head man offered 1m baht to saying it was proof they were innocent....wouldn't a quick DNA test to 'prove' they were not the perps, have saved the family from parting with a million baht. This whole scenario is like something from an Inspector Clouseau storyline.

Unless these migrant workers were taking drugs at the time, then i highly doubt that they would attack and murder 2 x western tourists for no reason

Well they originally said that the DNA on the cig butt matched the semen inside Hannah.

  10. So much cynicism here. There are loads of unsolved murder cases in all of your home countries and I don't see any threads complaining about the UK "Keystone cops".

Natalie Holloway (sp?) the US student who was murdered many years ago and the police there and in the Netherlands don't have a clue.

The police in Koh Tao are investigating a crime, they went down the wrong path a couple times but they kept investigating and now they have someone in custody who confessed.

What kind of deal are they going to make to an innocent person who confesses to rape and multiple murder who will be executed if found guilty. How could they coerce someone to confess, what could they threat to do that's worse than a firing squad ? Unless the accused is a serial confessor to crimes he didn't commit, I'd tend to believe his confession.

Wait for the "DNT" (sic) tests and other forensic work to cone in before you posit your own complicated conspiracy theories, unless you don't mind being told "I told you so" by the other people here.

If anyone would read through a couple of hundred murder cases the world over, they would understand that despite the horrific injuries to Hannah, it doesn't mean at all that it was carried out with anger. Many cases of gang rape are followed by mutilation of the victim, just as there is no standard 100% standard profile of a murderer, though statistically young men are the biggest purveyors of murder.

Look at the uncensored head shot (close up) of Hannah, Lucas, and then make that same statement again...

  12. Many people are not going to believe this, just as many people have already posted in this topic.

For people to believe this, all the evidence will need to be tested and verified by an outside agency and that means even taking DNA swabs from the bodies again.

Quite simply a condom will be riddled with DNA of David if this is what is suggested.

Maybe if the condom had spermicide in it, that could of dissolved any DNA inside it.

  13. "Win later admitted that he saw the two tourists having sex so he made the attack with a plan to rape the woman."

The original DNA test on the deceased girl was said to not reveal any of the deceased guy's DNA and one journalist report went further to say that the two had not had sex. Tests on the DNA inside the condom had revealed the semen of two Asian men. I wonder how RTP are going to square away these earlier pronouncements with the details of the "confession" of Win.

Stinky stinky. I think a revised confession may well be in course of construction. Win needs to nail his mate as well!

I don't remember there being a condom in the evidence, but of course I cant keep track of all the details in this bizarre story.

One thing: two guys sperm was in the same condom? or there were 2 condoms?

I remember clearly that they found DNA from sperm that was taken from both inside and outside the victim.

on the very beginning they told, that also a condom were found near the crime scene,

    but later not mentioned with DNA comparisons;

They said they found a condom with Hannah's DNA on the outside but nothing on the inside, so it was most likely what David was wearing when they were having sex.

  14. I do find it strange that the friend's that were with both victims on the fateful night have made no public statements on their arrival back in the UK.

Maybe they are waiting until after the funerals are held or maybe be the British police are involved.

If there were problems in the AC bar that night they would be aware and they could also identify other suspects/ witnesses i.e. the student allegedly studying hard in Bangkok.

    you are right !

Where are all this foreign wittnesses ?

Do they feel guilty in some way ?

And they just thin king close the eyes and ears and you not been there ?

What really happened there in ACB this evening ?

I guess they know more and fear to be a part of .....

Where is their civil character and curage ?

    Where is Sean McAnna ??

Sean deleted his Facebook, and the last video he posted to his Google+ / YouTube account was 3 weeks ago, on the 7th September, so i'm guessing if after a couple of months there is no new updates and no one can find any news about him then there probably should be concern that it might be his body that was found off of Koh Samet.

  15. A wristband might have helped identify the latest foreigner to be murdered off Koh Samet

    http://www.khaosodenglish.com/detail.php?newsid=1412007544&typecate=06&section=

Strange that he was dressed the same as Sean when he left Koh Tao

The question now is, did Sean actually leave Thailand?

Well maybe someone can identify what route that ferry he is boarding goes on i.e. straight to the main land or south to Koh Samet

I think it was mentioned some where that the body found was about 50 yet the body of the woman that just washed up on a beach they couldn't tell if she was 15 or 40.

  16. Off topic but this has been bugging me i made a post about this previously but i couldnt find the image, now ive got it.

In the above ^^ interview a phone is being held up, Do we know whos phone this is or am i totally wrong by assuming this could be seans phone? We already know from seans interview that he said he used the shopkeepers phone. Just a thought?

    attachicon.gifphone.jpg attachicon.gifseantatt.jpg

Well yeh, why did he not have his own phone on him?

This Guy is right on the case.Lots of csi here.

a farang living on Kho Tao has said that Mon is the nicest guy he's met in 20 years of living there and doesn't think he would ever get involved in something like this

I am a nice guy too until...........................

In the study of homicide that doesn't mean anything. Even the most ruthless of gangsters can be complete gentlemen.
