  1. Seems to me the only defense the lawyers of outside murderers and terrorist's can come up with is I was beaten up. Make no mistake this is nothing more than a diversion to get the public up in arms against the Thai authorities and have the Twitter Facebook TV army to shout they were framed....and already you can sense its working among the know it all gullible already

  2. Just curious....with the outstanding record of RTP , always getting the correct guilty party, is it possible these guys did not do what they are accused of?

Nobody has ever claimed responsibility for the bombing, if you look at the footage of the bomber putting his backpack down, it's obvious that there are two other young men involved, the one guy that vacated his seat for the bomber and the third guy he stood next to in an effort to shield the bomber from view, they all look as fit as butchers dogs and full of confidence, one could say untouchable. That was no ordinary bomb, judging by the carnage it caused, it was probably C4, semtex or something comparable, the explosion was carried out at Chinese shrine on a quiet day, no street traders, to minimise Thai casualties. There is only one group in Thailand who could have done that in such professional manner and coupled with the fact that nobody has ever claimed responsibility, points the finger in one direction.

  3. ^ Are you referring to moi?

I admit freely to an agenda of not accepting falsehoods and hysteria generated by publicity seeking persons disseminating assorted dis/misinformation to bolster a patently absurd claim. (IMO)

I write to convince the reader of my view, not to dismiss other poster's opinions.

Your suffering with delusions of grandeur.

  4. What jlcrab means is that we can not be 100% sure about anything in this case, all of us try to use common sense but it will not solve anything , we are a victim to social media and news reports , only the people that were on KT that night and people close to the investigation knows the truth. The rest of us can only use our........common sense.

Common sense tells me that hell will freeze over before the RTP would admit that Luke Miller was murdered if that is the case, in the light of recent passed events you would have to be a complete fool to believe anything else. With the David and Hannah case still in limbo, just the name Miller is enough to send them running for the hills.

  5. Yes, I've heard the police investigation on Koh Tao is still ongoing from a very reliable source (and I'm not about to reveal who). It is also alluded to in Nichola Gissing's facebook post. It also states as FACT in that post that the British Coroner is still waiting for the Thai autopsy and toxicology reports (although no mention has been made of the Thai police report). Therefore the case is NOT closed as far as the British Coroner is concerned, and the relevant documents were NOT sent with Luke Miller's body weeks ago.

Good news, also I'm sure the UK will be interested in seeing what the Thai autopsy report reveals and how much it contradicts the UK findings.

So the UK coroner has determined CoD was not drowning?

Sorry to disappoint you, what you'll likely get from the UK coroner, and it will concur with the Thai report is circumstances of death unknown- which will provide exactly zilch in proof Miller was murdered or otherwise met with a nefarious end. Of course the LMWM group will seize on this nothingness as more " evidence."

unfortunately you have it all backwards, in a sudden death (when a body is found dead) situation the onus is on the police to initially investigate - not to prove it was a murder but to prove it wasn't - and there is a difference, when the latter cannot be proven then that could trigger further investigation and onto a possible murder enquiry

initially everything will be done to rule out foul play, if police find injuries that cannot be explained from - for example - someone jumping into a swimming pool then that would/should raise enough interest to take it further. Thai Police had already closed this case before it got started with a theory that some people are questioning, the most obvious is how this young man ended up dead in a swimming pool, what raises further interest are the claimed bruises on his body that don't fit with the police theory, add to that the wall of silence and lack of cctv for most reasonable people raises some unanswered questions and makes the Thai Police version of events highly unlikely and suspicious, but of course it is unreasonable to think that the Thai Police would attempt to cover anything up - right ?

Your banging your head against a brick wall.

  6. ^ Complaining about posters making suppositions, and countering them with a post full of suppositions.....interesting tactic.

Anyway, one thing you got right is no news about the autopsy report being released yet (I did a search last night). But then you spoiled even that by making a supposition that this means it supports the RTP vrsion of events. Oh well.....

At least I said my theory was a supposition and did not state it as a fact or dismiss likely scenarios as "impossible"

What is more probable is that an altercation took place, the guy was beaten up and chucked in the pool to drown. Not murder per se but manslaughter.

How it that more probable than a known alcohol abuser having an accident?

You know, very well, that he wouldn't have attempted such a stupid act if he wasn't egged on, your making a mockery out of this whole sad case.

This post ^ gets the reward for supposition. Sorry, even if you knew the guy very well, you cannot read his mind and have no idea as to his motives.

But I'll add another supposition of my own- well no, I won't- far too much of it already on the thread.

One fact is the UK autopsy that was to definitively "prove" it was murder has not been produced, so I'm left to think it concurred with the Thai police version of events- which is simply their theory of course.

A climb up a few meters ( not knowing if he made it to the top or not) , a tumble down- scratched from barbed wire that was around the shack, bruises from the tumble and a hard landing, and his head hit on the edge of a pool, and simply was knocked out and rolled into the pool and drowned. A very unfortunate accident but one that was in no small way caused by his own behavior.

There is no proof whatsoever he was climbing up so as to, quoting a friend's post " dive into the pool....which he would never do... he was terrified of water."

-The family has gone silent, indeed not sure they ever asserted the murder theory, (it seemed to have originated from one specific party pal.)

    - The " Justice for.." FB page has turned into a simple remembrance/ tribute page with lots of references to Luke's fondness for alcohol binges.

I was referring to the drunken fool climbing a shop front to sit on a bike in the link "SiSePuede419" posted and not Luke Miller, the implication was that his link is making a mockery of the whole sad case of Luke Miller. I don't profess to know anything about the night in question, but based on past events I am very suspicious of the RTP, the justice system and the powers that be in Thailand. If you were directly involved i.e. a direct member of you family was the person in question, you wouldn't be such a one sided verbal windbag on the subject.

  7. I am just tired of endless speculations , lets wait for the autopsy. Maybe it was a murder , just maybe , ok ?

What would the odds have been that another Miller would drowned under suspicious circumstance on that tiny Island within sixteen months of David Miller. After the fiasco of David and Hannah's case, only a complete fool would believe anything the RTP have to say, how could any reasonable sound minded person not have serious doubts?

Because accidents happen, even on " Murder island.." ( yes, that really is a bit irresponsible headline but gets the hits.) Especially when young men are hi jinking around and drunk and/or using drugs. And to write it is " impossible" for the lad to have simply climbed up on a small building to amuse himself is just pure BS- no one knows what he was up to.

So when will the UK autopsy be released? It was to be out yesterday, maybe the coroner concurred with police in this case.

I haven't said that it was impossible and how do you know no one knows what happened.

  8. Listen to yourselves, seems to be a lot of Saints posting here. The young guy done what millions have done before went on a bender on Holiday. He did not wake up!! It was not intentional, he did not mean to die and he probably had no idea he was drinking the cheapest toxins you can put in a bucket.

Show some respect have you never drank to much, never let go,, never had a heart. This young man has a family, son, partner, mother, father and maybe brothers and sisters. Who are you to lamblast him? Do you know him. Crawl back into your perfect little pods.

    R.I.P. YOUNG MAN

It's sad and unforgivable that some people, who consider themselves to be at least of average intelligence or above even, can make derogatory comments about an individual, when they know absolutely nothing about them. Having read comment from his mother and sister, it's abundantly clear that he was a had working, responsible person and proud father of a little daughter, they also state that he did not normally drink in excess and keep himself fit, they also say that he had visited Thailand on a number of occasions and that he had friends there, so he wasn't exactly a newcomer. There is no mention of the child's mother, so it is possible that he had parental control, if that's the case it makes this whole sad incident so much worse for his family.

  9. I think it's window dressing. I can't picture a Thai attorney facing off against a judge. It was one or more judges who gave the verdict. The self-appointed PM is behind the verdict as are all RTP top brass. This is a highly stratified society. A group of attorneys don't have 1/10th the clout as those at the top of the pyramid. I predict the ruling will stand, and the scapegoats will get a pardon (no execution + life sentence shortened to 10 or 15 years). Pardons are rather common in Thailand.

It's rather sick that the 2 suspects were always bundled together as if they're Siamese twins. Wei admitted finding a phone in the sand. All those closely following the case agree somewhat that his friend Zaw was probably asleep at their room during the time of the crime. Wei is facing execution for finding a phone, and Zaw faces same for not finding a phone. The DNA was supposed to be the linchpin for finding them guilty, but the DNA trail is so tattered, skewed and inept as to be completely flawed. If any proof were needed: no crucial DNA was presented as evidence at the trial. Nothing from Hannah or her clothes. Worse than a travesty. All RTP involved in the cover-up should be severely disciplined: heavy fines and serious prison time.

Glad to see your still around Boom.

  11. Is it egotistical to know the difference between heresay and facts?

Sounds like something a pseudo-journalist might say, 555

Obviously, someone who has no education in logic. Yes, I did successfully complete a University level class in logic. The topic does exist. It's real. Although, many people here have never heard of it, 555

    For your further education:

What did you have for Christmas, a trumpet perhaps!

  12. "It was murder....and we won't let it rest"

I just read that article. No news. That quote is heresay. That guy loves to print heresay.

Can a journalist get away with printing heresay in the UK? Aren't there libel laws there that prohibit that?

I'd love to hear the facts, but the fact is the latest "news" is not news, nor does it involve any new facts (just a "greatest hits" of past events)...

Your absolutely brimming with confidence Mr Mexican, does egotistical register with you.

  13. The Thai Mafia ia alowed with no fear of police involvement to rape rob and murder visitors on a daily basis. It happens several times a day in this country. But when a foriegner tetaliates they are mafia. Thats such bullshit, If this crome was actually investigated by police and the perpatrator was Thai aw 500 thb fine or nothing at all. So sick of this place. Im out. Cant stand this anymore....

I think a lot of falang feel the same as you. The Thai's dont care as they only want our money.

Add me to this list. After ten years I have now finalised my travel arrangements and will be leaving here forever.

I can only speak for Koh Phangan, (but problems appear even worse on KT). The corruption has been obvious for a long, long time but the rise in organised crime the past five or so years is now getting out of control and too dangerous. It doesn't help that the worst gang wear pathetic tight fitting uniforms...

It is as though the Russians brought speed to the party and the entire place is now a mad frenzy of idiots on bikes, big bikes and cars, speeding like there is no tomorrow. The taxis have always been manic but they are second worst now.

The police here are the same as KT, just a little more circumspect, but just as corrupt so the 'foreign mafia' are, in this case nothing of the sort - they are rent boys working for a corrupt Thai official, just like the foreigners on TV applauding the recent B2 conviction; rent boys living 'the life' without proper work permits or visas, 'protected' by corrupt police, officials and redneck 'Deliverance' type families. Thanks to their incredibly low IQs they are lulled into this false sense of warmth but in reality they can and will find themselves thrown to the wolves the very first opportunity if it means protecting one of the 'dippy' family members, (like the one who calls his sister Mom and his grandad Dad)...

These are the most beautiful islands anywhere (to me) - what a crying shame they have been placed in the hands of such incapable, inbred sociopaths who will destroy everything in their all-consuming lust for money and power...

I am starting to think there are no honest people left here, and am too ashamed to go on saying this is my home. The anger inside me is barely controllable so it is best I leave this godforsaken place.

You are obviously true blue to your beliefs, you've clearly got morals and ethics, laced with plenty of guts, I admire you for that.

  14. Because I have never believed that David and Hannah were killed on the beach and that the scene was stage, I suggested over a year ago that they should ascertain whether the water in David's lungs was salt water or fresh water. rather strange now that another David has died from drowning, only this time in a swimming pool with cuts to his face and who knows what other injuries.

    I meant another Miller.

  16. To summarize the yesterday night my friend Davy got beaten up...

You were drinking. On Koh Tao. After 11 pm. Then you decided to keep drinking. Buckets. Pool. <incident occurs>. Then you hear there might be "mafia" on the island. Then you Google.

Wow! These people must be geniuses!!!

    555

    Just like you!

  17. They would have to be extremely stupid to try and sue her....Not only would it compound the issue in the media it would end up with

Everything that's happened being magnified and brought out into the open !! Mind you they are stupid so sit back and watch...Poor Laura...a massive wrongdoing has taken place over this whole issue and she has to put up with this after losing her beloved sister...

Everything that's happened being magnified and brought out into the open !!

I agree with your sentiment, but every blatant injustice that involves dubious deaths in Thailan should be brought to the worlds attention, especially as there are so many.. hopefully the impervious will eventually yield to what is right and just.. only pressure from outside forces will bring this about.

  18. Surely for Thai public consumption, promoting the idea that the powers that be in Thailand have reach beyond their borders (in other words, fooling the slaves into thinking their masters have any real power).

I doubt he/they really believe they can achieve anything beyond passing some motion that if she ever goes to The Land Of Corruption they'd get her then.

Again, I say the British government needs to stand up for its citizens and warn them before going to that backwards and morally bankrupt country. This is salt in the wound for any British family who suffered when Thailand killed their family members.

What more proof do people need that Thailand does not respect its guests and needs boycotting?

Nearly all guests in Thailand have only positive things to think about the place until the Thais damage their own reputation by abusing people they should be taking care of. That is the bottom line: Thais have damaged their reputation and they deserve nothing less than to be openly held responsible and not be allowed to abuse the citizens of other countries.

    Thailand, shame on you.

British government, shame on you even more.

You would think that this family have suffered enough and therefore earned the right to speak openly and voice their opinion in their own country wouldn't you?

It depend on whether you have morals and ethics and if you have a true sense of truth and justice, how civilised are you really.

  19. "Does that make me "middle class" or silly?"

IMHO, if anyone goes to Koh Tao without doing 30 seconds of research on Google to find out the past history of fellow travelers there....

Then they are stupid, ignorant and negligent for not having done "due diligence".

Doesn't matter if they are University students or your typical Cockney workman with an inheritance, anyone that fails to do research on their foreign destination in a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY is unimaginably stupid and deserves everything they get.

That's a simplistic view from a simple person, your at it again mister Mexican.
