  1. The whole street is a dump....why try to pretend otherwise?

I avoid it like the plague.

Similar for most of the area from Soi 4 to Terminal 21....with three or four exceptions.

Would you believe there are really human beings who eat Haggis? Sheep's pluck (heart, liver and lungs); minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock.

    I'd rather die.

But it's all in the eye of the beholder unless one is god.

I had a picnic on the sidewalk in front on Nana Plaza at 4AM me and 4 ladies and a dozen entrees including bugs. We all sat there right on the sidewalk no chairs on bamboo mats and ate all drunk as lords. Right there in the middle of the sidewalk. Where else could you do that?

Exactly, it's a dump full of drunk bums lording it up on the immaculate pavement. Who in their right mind would want to do that?

You are being sarcastic right? Or are you one of the guys writing from overseas?

Certainly not being sarcastic, the whole of Soi 4 is a dump particularly the parts where pissheads picnic on the pavement and the odd thing is that you you seem proud to be able to brag that you did that.

I don't know why you reckon I must be overseas, I'm right here avoiding that pisshead's delight of a dump whenever possible.

  3. Its a dying or dead. I'm sure you can add Patpong to the RIP list.

Nana died around 2005 and all of Pattaya a few years later at the latest.

Only clueless dinosaurs visit these mafia clip joints any more. The brighter of you have found Internet dating and the genius among us saw the whole thing for what it was and got married.

No suprise that the only way most of you can get laid is to fly half way round the world.

You can add Thermae1, Thermae2 and Bucksin Joe's - three best joints in BKK ever.

I often think, why doesn't he government just shut these rackets down? Skeezy mongers, gone. Problem solved.

These joints are long done. Anyone still rocking up here deserves what they get. Overpriced drinks, sour princesses, danger, herpes and very possibly hiv.

The born again Christians are in short supply in the current government. Why not try some place in a country more suited to your dark ages mentality.

I'm not moralizing bro. My statements are quite objective.

Many of the places that went under, especially those I mentioned as well as the demise of Pattata were all the best. What's left is just the shell of something great.

Its no different than any other thing on the planet: music, food, travel, Internet... Once the idiots find out about it, the trendsetters move on - until the govt wakes up and ruins it somehow.

Trouble is times have long, long ago changed. You never got the memo.

The whole of that statement you made that he commented on was subjective, it was just your opinion, nothing objective about it at all.

  4. I have followed this case from the start and the two that assaulted Jack should be locked up they are just animals.

Its obvious the Millionaire father has paid big money for this.

More injustice in Thailand, make me sick.coffee1.gif

I have been attacked by a few looneys on the forum for making this post.

The amount of likes I received seems to speak volumes.

    Corruption in Thailand = Injustice.

What may seem like a lot of likes from a lot of loonies doesn't necessarily say a lot really so don't give yourself too many congratulations too soon about 30+ of them. Bear in mind that if the number of members that ThaiVisa quotes is accurate then in excess of 200,000 members didn't "like" your post

  5. Thanks for the reply.

Ok I will take your advice and have a look at some of the magazines. I have many thai friends who can translate also.

I did search through many of the forums (including cefiro specific ones) and there are many people offering to fit the 2jz, might be worth asking them also.

Always better to have a referral from someone who has done it before and has personal experience with a shop. Hopefully there is someone on this forum who has experience in this regard.

I have personal experience with SY Unique Performance and what you plan they can do with their eyes shut, so to speak, but they are not cheap. I've known the owners, two brothers, Art and Oak since 1999. Both were educated in New Zealand and speak good English. Their workshops are located near Srinakarin at the start of the Bangkok/Chonburi motorway

In the past they have re-engined Accords and Evos for myself and friends. I've personally driven Cefiros (JZs and RBs), Imprezas, BMW E30s, the blue R32 on their facebook (also on YouTube), a modified Maserati Shamal, all built entirely by their shop. Many of their cars are regularly featured in the local magazines and race at the Bangkok drags. Their other business, SY Antique, rebuilds classics to concourse standards.

  6. this man is 50 years old, what do they mean by frail and what do they mean when they say potentially injured british man I do wish they would get a proof reader .

Agreed, he is definitely not elderly but from the photos he appears frail to me.

Frail: weak, delicate, feeble, enfeebled, debilitated; infirm, ill, ailing, unwell, sickly, poorly, in poor health.

I hope he manages his way out of Pattaya and back to his home wherever that is.

Do you agree that the word elderly did not appear in the report so nothing to agree with?

  7. Talk about exposing how the corrupt operate .......

Here you have a issue that 75% of tourists surveyed said they believe Phuket doesn't need it .... they say NO !!

so it's an overwhelming majority of the income producing tourists that say no and yet this guy even though he knows and would admit that Phuket's tourism is number 1 priority ... yet he will go against that common sense and allow the opposing.

If that isn't corruption then I don't know what is ......whistling.gif

Do you know that the governor's office didn't do that poll and that there was no connection or consultation between that office and The

    Phuket Gazette's private poll?

  8. Buy a selection of the Thai tuner magazines and although almost everything is in Thai there are plenty of ads that can be understood for places where you can start your search.

There are places that supply 1/2JZ GTEs with manual gearboxes that advertise and those shops would be able to fit them or point you in the right direction.

What you want to do is very common in Thailand.
