Is that the model without the 'anti anti pollution' software .....
No, it's the one with the "anti anti pollution" software. If it didn't have anti anti-pollution software it wouldn't pollute.

hearing here sing = torture
and hearing her speak, WOT WOT, YU GOTTAH BEE KIDIN' ME AIGHT ?
The usual fatuous junk from you in response to a good, positive idea.
-
Pop stars and footballers are the last people you want to use as role models for young impressionable people.
Many of them are so doped up on coke or plain stupid their managers wont let them speak in public.
Some people just will never get it.

Problem is with using someone famous and talented like that is, it all looks great and an enviable lifestyle until she drops dead.
That's the point, the lifestyle killed her!

Anna Reese would be better.
Hardly a drug-addicted, alcoholic talent.

Naturally use a foreigner as a case study, I suppose there are no troubled Thai ' stars ' that could have been used !
Using a Thai might be more effective being relevant and easily identifiable but it would mean exposing something negative too close to home and that would never do.
On the other hand it could be something to do with the fact that there are no other documentaries available and if there were they certainly wouldn't have the clout of the Amy Winehouse one.

Was there any reason given why only Thai nationals?
This report says nothing of that compensation being paid only to Thais. Once again the usual suspects are twisting the report to suit their agenda.
It has been widely reported that the Justice Ministry would be paying 100,000 baht to the families of the victims (not only the Thai victims) in addition to 300,000 baht being paid by the Tourism and Sports Ministry.

The mistake you made in this case was stopping the car... A Thai would have been away like a shot if he collided with a bike
An old deaf maybe half senile man crashed into me in bkk and both of our bikes had damage caused by sliding on the ground
Same story, police told me we know what happened but tell the insurance company it was your fault and they will pay for everything, you not pay anyway
I said it wasn't, they said he has no money anyway so nobody will get anything if you don't and my bike was expensive so I was against the wall or I'd have to pay to fix it myself and maybe give him money as well
We were not allowed to leave the scene (I needed a hospital with nearly broken ankle and few cuts ) until I agreed to take the blame and sign the damages or we go police station now instead of hospital
If I ever meet a Thai outside Thailand....
"...they said he has no money anyway so nobody will get anything if you don't and my bike was expensive so I was against the wall or I'd have to pay to fix it myself..."
Why? For what reason would the insurer of your expensive bike not cover damage to it?
"...I needed a hospital with nearly broken ankle...
Eh? Oh, you didn't have a broken ankle then?

My sympathy to the family of the Thai man. But as always If a Thai did this they would refuse to be arrested and things would be swept under the carpet. I think equal enforcement of the Law is needed in Thailand.
Nice to see how rational and well thought out the first comment was.
...and was is grossly wrong, fact- wise, oh-defender- of-everything-Thai?
"...and was is grossly wrong,"
What does that mean?
If you're asking me to point out what was wrong with Strangebrew's comment, I'll have a go. In every similar situation in Thailand every Thai driver does not refuse to be arrested and the case is not always swept under the carpet, obviously. Anyone who states that that happens in every case is, simply, wrong. Can you understand that?
I do not defend everything Thai. I will defend situations that deserve to be defended by virtue of some fatuous comments being plainly ridiculous attempts at Thai bashing or complete distortions of what actually happened or was reported.

Notice the "foreigner" gets breathalyzed , while lovely actress Anna Reese got 12 hours to go home comb her hair and Sober up after killing a copper in a parked car, sickening hypocrisy
Same for the Red Bull brat......
Same only if you ignore the fact that in the Red Bull incident the Ferrari driver was tested for alcohol and drugs in his system and both proved positive. So not the same really.

Would like to check, if my registration actually went thru. What was that Hotline Number again to check this? In my case it's AIS.
Anyone ? Thanks.
If you can make calls the chances are that your registration was successful.
-
Were are they going to get the technical knowhow to do this? Won't happen, even if it does people will just spend the 50 baht for a new sim and register it then. If it could be done they'd a done it already.
The technical knowledge to do what, cut numbers off? You really think that the phone companies don't know how to terminate service?
Regardless of that, it's happening already, I know of 2 people who couldn't be arsed registering and recently they both found that they were unable to make calls until they registered, that was over the last couple of weeks.

And somewhere, far out in the mountains and rural areas, where stateless natives have very little contact with BKK, 11 million people will wake up and realize -- "Oh, crap. I got ripped off again."
For the average 10 baht that is left on their cards, you think that's a rip off? 11 million stateless people, really?
-
ahha ! the thai wife again .......... !! property ? money ? her family ?
RIP.
Japan man.
Or perhaps suicide as suggested by the presence of a suicide note?
-
RIP to the market vendor. No sympathy for cowards fleeing an accident scene!
Anyone with a working brain will flee any accident scene in Asia, at least until the cops arrive.
I've seen a few lynchings and it's not a pretty scene. They beat, kick and chop first and ask questions later
"I've seen a few lynchings and it's not a pretty scene."
Of course you have. How about backing that up with some details of those lynchings in Thailand that you saw personally?

There is no right answer to this question, it is different for every individual's situation. The amount of the rent has to be considered, the cost of the property if it's being purchased has to be considered as does the length of time you will be renting for. Renting for 5 years is a whole lot different from renting for 25 years.

Price on 24. sep is 2,612.53 incl. all taxes on Agoda so stop your overpriced thai-hotel pushing ...
So for two nights (which is what he is offering) the cost would be 5,225.06 baht? I think 2500 baht is a bit less than that.

We must assume the pig was not alive.
At a guess, I'd think the trachea would have been a more receptive orifice.
A dead pig would, indeed, not be alive.
At a guess, through the mouth would be the only way to get to the trachea.

i hope he doesn't lose this leg, horrible.
but, as a big bike rider in Thailand, or anywhere I know you have to ride ultra defensibly.
jumping lights, hot dogging it through intersections and assuming the right of way will get you killed here.
Indeed, i also ride a big bike.. but I don't jump red lights and in general even have scooters pass me in traffic. I just don't do all the things some of those scooter riders do.
Same here. I am astounded at what I see at intersections all the time, whether I'm on the Harley...
Christ, another pissing contest from the "big bike" boys. What has the size of your bikes got to do with the comments you made?
As irrelevant as it is, I drive a big car, that trumps all of you.
-
Remember the Thai PM's comment, "It's not safe for beautiful girls to wear bikinis."
Most people will remember that he didn't say that at all.

Crime of the century! meanwhile in the real world?
Post of the century.

2.85g, with a street value of around 150 baht.... is this newsworthy?
Objectively, yes, subjectively, possibly no.

creepy response...think before you postThe delicious part of this is, neither can you.A reference to irony, which Sviss Geez will, no doubt, detect, and then ridicule! LOL.
Now, had I said I was enjoying it with some Fava beans, and a nice Chianti, that would of been creepy indeed.
No, no irony detected there. I won't ridicule you though because it wouldn't be fair as you don't understand what irony is.
I'm out of here now as one of the mods is bound to be along soon to end this.

There hadn't been a haircut comment for 4 days apart from your's suggesting posters get bald, why did you bring it up again, nothing much going on in the Ladies forum?
