They should provide you with the documents you need but at same time, it is more than reasonable from their side to ask for an increase of rental since it has not changed for 16 years.

I do wonder if Thailand has 2 sets of law books. 1 for the average person and another for the rich/famous/socially high-standing/clergy/etc... Otherwise, why write a law book if you're not even going to use it.

In westernized countries, the rich and famous people don't get jailed or rarely.  This is reality.  There are two justices there too.   

Wow.  TV investigators are amazing.  Some got the opportunity to throw their hate toward group of people without any rational.  They never comment when it's a white pedophile or criminal.

I can't bring my own food to the cinema claiming that my food identifies as a book. I can't cheat on a test because my phone identifies as a pencil. You must know what is what.You can't become something else just by identifying as it. Fortunately I'm not to concerned by this problem, IMO it will disappear by itself, because:

 

1) Doctors will find it harder and harder to justify the medical complications of a sex change

2) Nobody finds that attractive. OK, maybe a small minority, but FAR lower than the number of people who mutilate themselves.

I teach at a fairly big university and I also teach a couple of 10 year olds who study at a top international school.

The 10 year olds read classics and have a far greater knowledge of the world and world affairs than the university students.

They are not missing international knowledge more than other people, you should hear American university students, you will change your mind.

There are bad tradition to not criticise or challenge people older or in position of authority.  Once they feel comfortable, they can be like any young anywhere.
