For many years Jonathon Head has been misreporting Thai news. Twice he has been warned by the government about breaking les Majeste laws and is currently under investigation for doing it a third time. Thai people have been spreading the news about him on facebook including his picture and place of work. The BBC is renowned for misreporting just look at the petitions being raised in the UK for the government to stop the organisations funding. I think a few years in prison might make him realise that as a journalist his responsibility is to report the facts and not made up stories or personal opinions.
Care to mention examples of the misreporting?

I watched the interview with Head and the lawyer who brought this defermation case. At one point the lawyer refused to have the camera crew present in the same room and they had to stop filming when Head asked him if he was involved in the scam and why he had accepted a false signature on the land document .

Didn't they try and get him on similar charges after the aifrport takeover a few years ago. Probably can't repeat what the story he posted said but the BBC moved him to Turkey until it was safe to return.
No chance this time. They have taken his passport.

The Thai economy is propped up by the scams, corruption, black money, money laundering, fake goods, and selfish Thais. Take all this away and it will collapse. Eluding to fighting corruption is all smoke and mirrors. Thailand needs to keep on greasing the wheels to survive.

They want your money, but sure as f.....they don't want you!

They are still trying to work out how to incorporate the new information requirement form into the system. There has always been a problem accessing this site because it has no certificate and is a security risk. Once Thailand 4.0 is up and running, every thing should be running smoothly. Any one any ideas when we can expect this to happen......Thailand 4.0 I mean?

Can I buy a bottle of wine on Friday afternoon after 5pm and take it to my local restaurant for consumption on Saturday evening before midnight? I would of course pay corkage. It seemed to work for Thai diners last year and when I complained to the restaurant staff, they simple said they had not sold it. I think the group where celebrating the retirement of a local police man,but I couldn't be sure.

There was, at the start a kind of optimism, that after the coup things would get better and all corrupt practices of the past would be brought to an end, but it was short lived. People seem to forget that a country which thrived on the corruption which greased the wheels, needed something to replace it. The international investment companies are not interested in putting their money into military-run Governments and now the optimism has turned to disappointment. The people who put the regime into power are starting to realise that the utopian dream is becoming a nightmare. The junta resorts to so-called economic stimulus and is finding it doesn't make any difference. High-speed trains are on the way, so they say, but the company tasked with the job of running them is already in debt to the tune of billions of Baht and no one seems to know the purpose of the trains. Democracy may come, eventually, but can anyone tell me what new administration in its right mind would want to take on the looming disaster and take a chance that there won't be another coup around the corner?

Isn't True owned by the guy who owns CP? Enough said!

Be wary of fortune tellers wanting sex, especially if you are unwell and need a tablet to sort out your upset stomach.

200,000 Baht was the total price. 100,000 for the pickup driver,70,000 Baht for two others and 30,000 Baht for the poor sucker who did the deed.

Brain dead.

Waste of time trying to get through the Thai mentality. Just move on. Tomorrow is another day.

A man of very little substance. The Junta needs a front man and this man knows the ropes.

Looks like they haven't paid HBO for the license and HBO has pulled the plug.

Thai kids mix many tablets with cola in the bottle, then shake the bottle, drink and presto you have one crazy Thai kid. Any one legally buying the drug, either as a mix( Ultracet ) or on its own needs to sign the pharmacy drugs control book. I once bought it for my wife's cousin who was dying of cancer as the doctor would only prescribe her paracetamol. I personally use the Ultracet mix 50grms tramadol with 250 grams paracetamol when I have disk problems and can't sleep, but only sparingly. Never had a problem so far.

The clowns running this service haven't a clue. The certificate for the site has expired and this makes the site a security risk. My advice, don't use it.
Entry fees into national parks for foreign tourists remain unchanged
