Will those bikini girls join in groups? And will they all wear their usual number-stickers to make it easier to identify them?
Come in and find out.

Something I don't understand : How can anyone open a safe inside a room without the PIN code?

One nutter kills the same number of people as say a daily dose of road deaths and they are all up in arms about guns, forgetting the mass murder on the roads each day.
But YOU never forget to derail an issue.

Sounds like an eminently sensible policy. People trying to go from France to the UK are not in distress or danger. THey are already in a safe country, so there is no need to travel further to seek asylum. It is obvious that they are only seeking economic advantage.
Maybe it's easier for them in an English-speaking country than in France.

Who cares about a German health minister in Thailand?

I do agree with you, but I'm sensing hope today. My feeling is the islands will be rocking around Christmas. World economy in shambles, but there are enough people with cash who missed LOS. That will be my prediction for the islands......Christmas.
for Pattaya.....oh, much earlier. November.
I'll be traveling this weekend and I hope it feels different than last month. Last month, definite COVID vibe.
yea, who am I kidding.............anyhow, the noise and horrible traffic is back everywhere!!!
Lots of days off work in October for people...................so traveling will commence.
You mean : life is back?

So if they don't pay the 300 baht do they send them back home?
BS. Add the 300 THB to the ticket fare, that will do.

"Between 2017-2019, the Thai government spent more than 700 million baht compensating the Public Health Ministry after uninsured foreign tourists had received medical treatment in Thailand but had left the country without paying their bills."
Have they published what is the projected loss of overall revenue if fewer visitors arrive due to the fee?
Guess not. That's not the Public Health Ministry's business. The Public Health Ministry's business is to check the medical bills are getting paid.

For those of us living in Thailand I think it’s pretty meaningless. (My) life is as normal as it was before. For Thai people generally on a day to day basis I don’t see how things will change much either.
For the tourism industry there'll be an impact, and that's where many Thais work.

Russia (not Putin) was the only one that granted Edward Snowden asylum when he was chased. I would call this friendship.

Maybe if the local council had to pay 100,000 baht out for every soi dog bite in their city they would act on these scummy things
Why should the local council pay if you're unable to protect yourself from soi dog bites and not see a doctor like stated in the OP?

Should have walked on by, not his issue.
Yes, he shouldn't have intruded the conflict field. A conflict between two parties never turns out very well if a third party turns up for unsolicited help. That's probably why police was invented.

They are way over the top expensive. A minor surgical procedure to a toe was taken care of at Memorial costing under 5000 baht. At PIH they wanted to do this under general anesthetic for over 20k.
Don't you have a private health insurance in Thailand to pay the bill? 7

Yes, Thailand shame on you importing this nations tourists. Elite showing their true faces again to the world. Still I guess they look at it as 'its only a 5th of our road deaths, so whats the problem ? '
I've got no prejudices against Russians. And the road deaths in Thailand have nothing to do with the theme in question.

45 days, big deal. If they really wanted tourist money, give all tourists a 6 month visa.
Seems to me, immigration is more interested in generating visa revenue than helping the
Thai economy.
Visa exempt doesn't generate visa revenue imho.
