That sounds incredibly cheap.....is a CT scan the same as an MRI scan?
I paid a small fortune for the MRI.
Sorry can't comment on that, I had MRI before which cost 20k

Yes I.know you can say NO, I was in big pain and scared, I had the girl pushing the clipboard at me saying "this price okay" I did say "no not okay, I.paid 15k before" that must of worked.
After all the tests they found nothing wrong, the Doctor then suggested "we will admit you for further tests" I said "no you just said there is nothing wrong with me" we paid and left, the problem has not returned so far.

Also in a private hospital you can say NO.
Yes mate, but when you are in excruciating pain you just say yes hoping they have your best interest at heart.

Just had new Vaccination dates come through but it is for mixed Vaccines, Sinovac and AZ I'm not sure it it's wise to mix Vaccines, what is posters opinions on this, I would rather have 2 AZ but have not been given that option at the moment, is it best to cancel and wait for both of the same?
My Step Daughter tells me that a 39 Yr old women has died having mixed Vaccines!!

No, they won't be jabbing "closer" to Chalong.
People from Chalong are directed to go to Orchid, which, let's face it, just over the hill from Chalong and can hardly be called far away.
Get a taxi. A second jab is far too important to miss.
I would do whatever is necessary to haul my carcass over a single hill to complete vaccination.
Thanks, I'm okay with Orchid which is a short journey from my house, hopefully the next appointments will be available soon and hopefully at Orchid, I want to be fully fit before getting the 1st Jab, I'll be that in a couple of weeks.

Had to cancel my last 3 bookings at Orchid, Airport and Patong Hospital due to a broken leg, hoping they will be jabbing closer to Chalong soon, good luck to all those that have been jabbed so far.

Government providing free Sinovac and Astrazenica Vaccine for free but the likes of Pfizer, Moderna Etc have to be paid for, around 3,500 Baht, but there is none to buy until at least the last quarter of this year, too bad thousands of Cretins have already paid for the non existant Vaccine !
Not bad for the Phuket Hospital that has banked over 270 million bht from people wanting the Moderna Vaccine, they absolutely love Cretins(your word not mine) my thought is its people scared of Sinovac and other free Vaccines!

I am sick of reading about theoretical orders for vaccines for sometime next year. Thousands of people will have died by then. The incompetence of this government is very very sad.
Also many people are refusing to take any Vaccine so you can't solely blame the Government!
Chatted to a guy from the USA who said " they are throwing Vaccines away because people will not have them, stupid is as stupid does"!

Meanwhile the Hospital that has taken over 65,000 3,500bht payments for the Moderna Vaccine are laughing all the way to the bank!
imagine the interest they are making On 227,500,000bht!!
Try getting a refund if you get fed up waiting for the Vaccine to arrive! Good luck all!

That gives Thailand 6,000,000 doses per month at it's current production rate of 15M
I'm sure when AstraZeneca contracted SB to produce it was to set-up a base for the manufacture and delivery for the whole Asean area, orders from those other countries will have to be honoured.
Thailand has shown it's complete failure on all fronts during this pandemic.
Some posters saying "Sinovac is cr#p) with the amount of people dying and its rising daily why wouldn't you take anything that is offered!
I'm getting my Sinovac next week as who knows how long it will be before anything else becomes available.
Good luck to all those that are waiting for something other than Sinovac!
Chatted to a guy from the US this morning, he said " many people refusing a Vaccine, they are the ones dying, people are stupid here"

Perhaps, but it could force you into a multi brand vaccination cocktail. Or worse, it could preclude you from getting one of the better vaccines, if and when they become available.
If and when is the thing that is making me take what is available now, from what I have read no Vaccine protects you 100%.

What a crock of <<deleted>>. Even at full capacity, which is doubtful, 40% of 15 million is just 6 million doses per month. This is well short of the touted 10 million doses per month they have been bragging about. Little wonder they are still having to import the Sinocrap.
Sinovac is better than nothing if you can't get anything else!

34 minutes ago, Pattaya Spotter said:All together took about 2 hours today at Phuket Airport, Terminal X, to compete the vaccination process. It was all very calm and orderly. I would suggest getting there 15-30 minutes early as then you will be at the front of your time group's que (but don't go at 9 a.m. if you have a 10 a.m. time slot thinking you will join the earlier group...they will just direct you to the 10 a.m. group waiting area). The Terminal X building is located adjacent to the International Terminal...you take the entry into the Terminal but keep to the left of the pick-up and departure ramps and continue straight to the first road on the left. Turn left and about 200m down the road is TX. (It's also on Google Maps.)
That's great, I'm going to re-book my jabs as times are now available at Orchid Resort and Spa(Karon) my thought now is "anything is better than nothing"

Atm I have 7 appointments for tomorrow. I keep cancelling them, but they never disappear and then another pops up.
I start at 9am and then have further slots on the hour, every hour through to 3 o clock.
I too wanted to wait till AZ became available because I am over 60. I’m not sure that it will be possible now because it seems a single shot of sinovac and AZ is the new policy. Whether that will apply to over 60’s, I don’t know.
wait and then wait a bit more I suppose.
I'm 65 and I'm going to wait, gf says "new Vaccines are coming as Sinovac is no good"
