  1. It’s called shrinkflation Bob… … check yer under-crackers… it’s quite likely you’ve been making promises you can’t fulfill !!! 🤣😭
  2. Why would they start refusing sex in the Uk? Because his wife did & he projects that everyone else has the same issues he has struggled with. Obviously many have, but it’s the repetitive ‘generalisation’ & myopic thinking that is quite ridiculous. That said - in this (AI Generated ‘agony aunt’) story, the ‘trigger’ is there to attract all the older fellas & they can chime in… ‘Dad’s got a bit of Thai fluff’….
  3. It depends where you are from (where your DL is based) I guess. In the UK you can renew with a form from the Post office - so there is a way to circumnavigate this... I think its called a D1 Form... (its a pack of forms I think). If someone has their old drivers licence, they may be able to renew with these forms (using their existing DL number) as the something known as 'entitlement to drive' which means as you have already qualified to drive the vehicles (for which you are endorsed), then that remains extant (as in, the 'qualification itself doesn't expire, just the permission).... ... Thus, by reappling to the DVLA it may be possible to renew a drivers licence even after it as expired... (caveat - if an applicant has not been banned or are over 70 etc). Thus: IF in Thailand already, the OP, could get a 'friend' to post over the D1 forms (if thats the correct set), and he fills them out, returns to his friend, who then posts them off from within the UK to the DVLA. >>> Its long winded - its far easier just to go and do the test at a DLT in Thailand !!!!
  4. Erm.... Pitcher or catcher ? Postman or Letter box ?
  5. In Thailand, publicly criticising something or someone can be illegal IF someone takes offence and decides to file Defamation charges... The 'public statements' or 'Videos' can be 100% factual and true... all that has to be proven is the 'intent to public bring someones name into disrepute'.... ... that's one the key issues with one of Thailands most abominable laws which protects those acting in the wrong or illegally.
  6. Please post a 'sarcastic' emoji 🙃 (upside-down emoji) so that people know this is not a serious comment, otherwise you may earn the undeserved reputation of someone posting really <deleted>...
  7. Its possible this isn't a fair comment... Op mentioned Covid. Was it possible to renew a UK Driving License over Covid ??? (I've no idea). It was not possible to renew a Thai Driving Licence over Covid, but it appears the Op was out of the country anyway. As stated earlier - It is unknown if the Op is currently in Thailand or in the UK and planning to return to Thailand - thus his options may be varied... renew in the UK, which may mean taking a new test. Or, renew in Thailand, by taking a new test.
  8. Understandable... if someone is doing as you state above and V-Logging about them operating a bar etc... they'd be stupid to do so without first ensuring they have the right paperwork.... One who springs to mind is a guy called Tom Birch (TikToker) who has a bar and sells some sort Kratom mixed soft drinks... he's a prolific poster and makes an absolute knob of himself, but he's somewhat successful... successful enough to draw attention I'd imagine, and with that sort of attention I'm sure he must have his ducks in a row with regards to work permits and licenses etc. But, I agree with what you state: If V-Loggers are 'publicly announcing' their illegal activities, such as bribing officials, then I imagine these official are going to respond very quickly as soon as they get wind. But... Is it just the V-Logger who gets penalised for brining Thailand into disrepute, or also the official they bribed ???
  9. Only on way to deal with that complete 🐔 womble... its a complete waste of time to acknowledge the existence of someone so pathetic. The only issue is, I'm still reminded of the existence of the forum equivalent of haemorrhoids when others quote these pests...
  10. There are plenty of negatives in any country... The issue is, if we publicly report on them in our home country, or to compare an 'apple to an apple' if a Thai were to public report on a negative aspect of the UK (or any Western nation) they are not challenged by the Police (unless they are inciting violence and hatred). In Thailand - post any public comment in anything other than a positive light and people jump to 'defamation' is incredibly juvenile. Thats one of the reasons its so difficult to get the 'truth' in Thailand, its hidden behind protectionist policies and childish minds who get upset and want retaliation.
  11. Yet the points made are wholly valid... The idea that a vlogger or blogger needs a work permit and posting online videos is subject to visa restrictions and work permits is preposterous... ... Next we will see tourists who've posted their face-book photo of their holiday being charged with 'working'... 'some computer crimes act' or 'bringing Thailand into disrepute'.... Imagine - taking a photo of a messed up litter strewn beach... Or, all the messy cables on a dirty street, posting it on your social media (facebook for example) and then being challenged by the Police because it paints a Thailand in a negative light. Of course, we are not 'at that point'.... but this targeting of V-loggers, YouTubers and TikTokers who tell the truth but that truth is negative and paints Thailand is a less than wholesome positive glowing wonderful light is rather draconian.... The actions of the Police and the existence of these laws themselves paint Thailand in a negative light, not people telling negative truths. Those in positions of authority really need to start maturing - use the feed back to improve instead of retaliating. Of course - any form of public medial needs to be submitted with responsibility, I'm all for dealing with those publicising false information under libel laws - thats fine....
  12. I never have... but just curious... why ? I don't mean re-heating cold coffee that has lost its flavours and gone somwhat flat and stale. But, what about heating up a coffee that has dropped below hot... 'bumping it up' in the micrwave for 20 seconds, is it that bad ?
  13. Known as VITP or VIPIT before Covid when it was also termed VITT... and has been reported following vaccination against infectious agents such as measles-mumps-rubella, Haemophilus influenzae, pneumococcus, hepatitis B virus, human papilloma virus, varicella-zoster virus and polio virus....
  14. Buy it... Conventional thrombosis can occur from dehydration and can be a symptom of influenza, a regular house hold cold etc - the more unwell a person is or the greater the severity of their symptoms the more likely they are to suffer dehydration - that in itself is a leading cause of Thrombosis... Note: Thrombosis and thrombocytopenia are both blood clots of different types - in simple terms, one is the thickening of the blood, the later is platelets falling out of suspension due to localised 'thinning' and causing a blockage themselves. So... while Covid-19 may not directly cause conventional Thrombosis directly the risk is elevated due to symptomatic factors. Statistically 1 in 4 people will have thrombotic event in their lifetime (DVT, PE, Stroke etc)... after your LB and Indian Thread comment, its possible you may well be suffering an event right now !!!..
  15. AZ is not an MRNA vaccine... its a viral vector vaccine....
  16. Most times when the Lazada delivery guys did call me, they didn't speak English. I lived alone and don't speak Thai... Obviously, YMMV. Indeed... a lot of the time I don't answer numbers I don't recognise... the delivery guys just leave the item on the step... no issues, no hassles, no digging around for money, no making sure we are in, or if out having to answer a call just in case its lazada delivery etc... From a personal perspective (in line with YMMV) - COD is quite an inconvenience.
  17. If you are a frequent user of Lazada - does it matter if the refund goes to a 'wallet' you can spend from that (so you can get it back)... 99% of the time I use a Credit Card (Thai) - I only use the Thai Bank when for whatever reason the transaction is rejected due to a suspected fraud alert on the card... which happens from time to time.
  18. Read again... this time with a little reading comprehension and take your foot off the clutch a little more slowly to prevent you from wheel-spinning into the curb... ... I've not claimed that vaccines don't or won't have any 'long term adverse events' (effects) at all... I have pointed out that Vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia is not caused solely by the AZ vaccine and that other vaccines, not related to Covid can also cause this complication....
  19. 'Turbo'.... you'll need to explain that one... never heard of the word in this context...
  20. Nope. Not with me. I can price it I have funds in my lazada “wallet” that I can’t spend. Different experiences then... Refunds always go straight back into my Thai Credit Card or Thai Bank Account - which ever I used to make the purchase. I've never used Lazada Wallet - never needed to.
  21. It may not be the case... but, particularly with Chinese vendors I've often found that they cancel the order, then when I search for the same item again, its available from different vendor using exactly the same photos... my guess is 'bait and switch'... ... they list items cheaply to draw you in, when you pull the tigger they are not available and if you want the item, you chose the more expensive option... I suspect its a business model some of the vendors use - its particularly annoying when purchasing something on a 'time-line'...
  22. Nope... your post is... never had an issue with Lazada not refunding. I guess if someone can't wait 7-14 days for a refund, then they have other financial issues... COD or Payment through the app just depends on personal preference - if you will be in or not... We always use Payment through the App because we never know if we'll be in and delivery can just place it on our doorstep (no porch pirates in moobaan)... Items are often cancelled by the vendor, refund is always forthcoming.
  23. Thrombocytopenia - which is the blood plateless falling out of suspension and causing a clot, as opposed to thick blood causing a clot in the convention sense of Thormbosis.... This is not a new thing with vaccines or many injections... its very rare, but the numbers with which the Covid vaccines were administered there would of course be some with adverse effects... And... these 'adverse' effects are not to the vaccine (antigen) itself, but the 'other items' within the vaccines, such as Adjuvants, Diluents, Stabilisers, Preservatives etc... most vaccines are actually very similar in makeup... it is the antigen itself that is the differing factor.... ... I don't think it is the antigen itself that causes Thrombocytopenia (also known as VITT - Vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia), but the other 'ingredients'..
  24. The guy who entered Thailand and handed his passport over to immigration with a pouch of cocaine in it ????
